Kazu's initial worry faded as Marcus grasped his hand, Kazu mimicked his smile and nodded to the other two Tamers arrived, one with an injured arm and another with a Dracomon as a partner. The V-Tamer took a deep breath. "We need to get out of here and bloody fast." looking around the arena Kazu spotted an exit that seemed less crowded then the rest. "No matter what way we go we'll end up hitting trouble. I say we rock that exit there!" quickly keeping tabs on the rest of the group Kazu nodded to Veemon and took one last breath. "Run!" the Blue haired Tamer was out of the blocks and vaulting seats and debris alike in an instant. As he approached he realised why there was a lack of crowding. "Bugger..." A group of Gladimon and Dracomon were decimating Digimon and Human alike with swings of their blades and dangerous flame attacks.

As Kazu neared the door two of the Dracomon unleashed their flames, Kazu scooped Veemon under his arm and threw himself to the left, he landed hard on his side, but didn't stay down for more then a few seconds. Back on his feet he ran past the first two Dracomon, The pair were almost clear as two more Dracomon dropped from the air, flames spewing forth in a torrent. Kazu gritted his teeth, there was almost no room to maneuver in the doorway. "Veemon! High road!" his partner nodded as he replied, "Kazu! Low road!" Kazu gripped his partner tightly before throwing him into the air, up and over the torrent of flames, he himself dropped to his knees skimming the underside of the torrent as he skidded to the other side of the door. Returning to his feet once again Kazu held his arms out to catch Veemon. Kazu didn't stop his momentum, praying that the others would be able to keep up and get through unharmed...

I Will Fight


Nicholas was breathing heavily from two plain facts. One was that he was not in the best shape since he did just get hit by the shockwave of a powerful attack from a powerful digimon. Secondly his arm was killing him and he was pretty much using most of his energy to keep himself from being distracted by the pain so that he could focus on surviving. He then heard the blue haired boy with the Veemon say, "Run" before he started to run towards an exit. Not wanting to be left behind Nicholas quickly ran after him with Blitz following close behind. Rather than vaulting over all the debris Nicholas just went around them or climbed over them when he couldn't get around it. He didn't want to risk tripping and then falling smack on his face which is why he decided to do something less dangerous. As he neared the entry way quite far behind of the Blue Haired tamer he noticed that there were Dracomon and some Gladimon who were attacking nearby tamers and digimon. He blinked before he noticed that the blue haired tamer just dashed right at it and after doing some crazy things he managed to get past along with his Veemon.

Nicholas would groan slightly as he saw the flames from the Dracomon. He sighed before he dashed towards the door as the Dracomon then spewed out flames directly at him and his partner. His partner Blitz quickly pushed Nicholas to the side so the he could avoid the flames before he quickly jumped over the other two flames. Nicholas hit the ground on his injured arm after Blitz pushed him and grunted in pain. Suddenly a Gladimon tried to take his head off by slashing at him but he quickly rolled out of the way. Blitz then quickly kicked the Gladimon away though not defeating it it did prove to stun him temporarily. Nicholas quickly got up as Blitz asked, "Hey Nick are you alright?". Nicholas would nod before he stood up with the help of Blitz. They then quickly ran towards the door again when suddenly the four Dracomon spewed a torrent of flames at them. Nicholas would prepare to slide under much like what the blue haired tamer did when suddenly Blitz used his head as a platform to jump over the large torrent. Nicholas grunted as the Blue Digimon jumped off his head over the danger groaning as he looked up to see the flames were way too close he dropped to his knees copying the blue haired guy and skidded past the danger zone to the other side. Quickly standing up after getting past the danger zone Blitz suddenly dropped on his head . Nicholas sighed and said, "Next time please warn me when you are going to do something like that." Blitz would laugh as he dropped down from Nicholas' head. They quickly continued to run after Kazu picking up the pace so that they would reach him quicker since Nicholas didn't want to be left alone when there were digimon after him.

Dawn

Dawn had seen Dracomon and Gladimon, all alike, create a manslaughter of humans and digimon."This is unbelievable." Dawn made a fist in his right hand.

Dracomon had seen the fist and climbed on his tamers shoulder."I don't know why they are doing this bu...." Dracomon was cut off when he had heard the blue haired tamer telling them to run.

Dawn looked at Dracomon and they nodded in unison.Dawn might have not looked fast but he was pretty quick. He dodged sword slashes and flames coming from the Dracomon."Hey what the freak Dracomon." Dawn could hear laughing coming from them.

Dracomon felt anger. He felt like hopping off of his speedy little tamers back and punching all of his so called brothers in the face."You little brats!!" Dracomon yelled at the other Dracomon. They just blew more flames at him and Dawn. Which Dawn dodged skillfully.

Dawn finally made it to the other side. After almost being sliced up and roasted for dinner."That was close."

Dracomon climbed down."A bit to close." During the sprinting Dracomon almost got scorched by a "Funny" little Dracomon.

Marcus would take a moment to notice the little possy that he and Kazu had put together: A gaomon, a dracomon, and two veemon, what luck. He would look around for an exit and then nod as Kazu took the role as their makeshift leader, directing them through the chaos. "You lead the way, I'll take the rear." He would call out nonchalantly as the boys and their digimon took off ahead of him.

One would think that by him taking to the back, he would be spared any sort of surprises, but to no avail did his placement alleviate his surprise as flames spewed from the doorway at them, singeing his clothes and some of Gaomon's fur. "Agh..." Marcus would groan in slight pain as he felt pain wracking at his body. In any other case, he'd be protected by his digisoul, but with that locked up, he was vulnerable, they all were.

"AGH!!! That hurt!!" Gaomon would cry as he, unlike his evasive partner, charged the flames and used them to unleash a series of burning punches on one of the enemy dracomon. "No... I'll make YOU perish!" he would call back with a growl.

In slight rage and feral instinct, the Gaomon would punch one of the Dracomon in the mouth, "GAO RUSH!!!" On contact, the dog would release a flurry of fire-covered punches on the dracomon's unprotected face. Wheeling back, he would give it one final punch which would send it flying into another dracomon and then send both of them into a wall.

Stopping in mid run, Marcus would look to see that his digimon had gone into fighting. "Ugh... I should have known. DESTINO! BEHIND YOU!!" He would call as he pointed at an approaching Dracomon.

At the call of his tamer, Gaomon would then spin around and unleash a point-blank barking attack, "Howling Echo!!". At such range, the dragon digimon would be left with ringing ears and dazed vision that would long enough for the hound to get in close and deal the finishing blow. "ROLLING UPPER!" The dog digimon would then uppercut the dragon into the ceiling where it would bust through and then stick.

"Good Job, now let's catch up to the others!"

After making it past the wall of flames, the tamers would find themselves halted by the digimon there. Though they [The tamers] and their digimon would attempt to flee, they would be cut off as the two Gladimon jumped in their way with swords poised to strike.

The group of Dracomon would be cut severely by Marcus's Gaomon, causing the last of the dracomon to flee from the dog digimon. Noticing another dracomon there, it would make it's way towards the tamer in attempts to liberate a potential ally.

Gladimon [A] would bring both of its blades up and would attempt to attack Kazu. "I'll cut you to ribbons, human!!" He would swing with one saber at the tamer, but he misses and ends up spinning in a circle. []

Gladimon would also join in, making his attempt at Nicholas. "You humans are a disease!" The armored ball digimon would make a swing at the tamer, but misses and ends up tripping. [HIT requirement reduced by 1]

Dracomon [D] would come at the flee from the dog digimon's rage and would attempt to take on the Dracomon's tamer, Dawn. "HOW DARE YOU IMPRISON A DRAGON!!" He attempts to breath a flame attack, but ends up getting hit by debris from falling rubble. [HIT requirement reduced by 1]

Just as he made it through the doors Kazu was stopped once again, this time a Gladimon, "I'll cut you to ribbons, human!!" Kazu gritted his teeth as the two sabres came towards him. Watching the blades carefully Kazu ducked under the first one and took a measured step back, out of the way of the blade. The Gladimon lost it's balance and spun on it's heel, trying to recover. "Veemon! Now!" the blue Digimon nodded and lept into the air, "V-Headbutt!" as Gladimon's spin returned it to it's front facing position, it would be smashed by Veemon's skull. "How about another one eh big guy!?" Veemon gripped the belt of Gladimon's torso and threw back his right hand. "Victory...Punch!" as his fist came forward a blue light engulfed his hand, forming a "V" the hit landed one the gladiators face, but it still wasn't enough to take it down...

Veemon kicked off the Gladimon to land back next to Kazu. The Tamer glanced around to see Marcus and Gaomon take out a group of Dracomon, but one escaped towards Dawn. Another Gladimon was attacking Nick, but it seemed to be weakened. Suddenly a piece of debris crushed the rookie attacking Dawn, leaving him and his Dracomon free to help. Kazu quickly yelled over to him, gesturing towards the gladiator infront, "Dawn! Quick! We've weakened him! Finish the job!"

I Will Fight


Nicholas would continue to follow Kazu when suddenly he stopped moving and was attacked by a Gladimon. Nicholas skidded to a stop and so did Blitz. Nicholas would blink and said, "Crap! Not more digimon to get past.". Suddenly a Gladimon appeared in front of him and attempted to slash at him. Almost immediately Blitz was behind the Gladimon and pushed him towards Nicholas making the Gladimon lose aim and miss Nicholas. Nicholas quickly put his foot in front of the Gladimon's small feet and tripped it making it fall flat on its face. Nicholas sighed and said, "Hey Blitz! Here take your blade and cut this guy down to size.". Nicholas would point his digivice at Blitz and suddenly a long sword made out of chrome digizoid flew out straight at Blitz. Blitz caught it and then smiled. Blitz then said, "Why don't you try messing with someone of your own size?". The Gladimon quickly got on his feet and then slashed at Blitz. Blitz quickly parried the slash and then spun around and slashed diagonally at the Gladimon cutting it before Blitz kicked him away and then went back to Nicholas' side. Nicholas would sigh and then said, "Hopefully that took him out.".

Nicholas would sigh and then look around. He noticed that Kazu managed to injure one of the other Gladimon. He hoped that he would be fine. He also noticed a Dracomon attacking the kid who was with another Dracomon. He groaned and hoped the kid would be alright. He then turned back and saw that the Gladimon was back up and ready to attack him again. Nicholas groaned and then said, "Blitz! Get ready to defend!". He continued to hold his right arm since it began to hurt the more he stressed his body.

Dawn had seen a Dracomon breathe fire at him. He quickly leaped to the side. He had gotten lucky because some debris had fell on it. "Wow that close." "A bit to close." Dracomon had added in. Dawn then heard his name being called. Kazu had called for Dawn to help take out a Gladimon."Dracomon quickly use G-Shrunen." Dracomon nodded and leaned back. He then brought his head forward and sent a flaming ball of fire at the Gladimon. Gladimon would be burnt to crisps. Dawn then seen another person ((Nicholas)) having some trouble with another Gladimon."Dracomon again but over at this one over here." "Gotcha." Dracomon had done the same thing sending another flaming bullet at the Gladimon."How dare you attack us." Dracomon said as the flaming bullet hit the Gladimon.

After dealing with three of the four Dracomon, Marcus and Gaomon gave chase after the fourth one until they saw it get taken out by the falling debris. Marcus would reach Dawn and his Dracomon's side and would put a hand on the boy's shoulder. "You sir, are quite the lucky one." He would then walk past the Dawn and the other two boys noticing that they had worked together to take out two champion level digimon with just rookies, not that he was all that impressed, one of the boys was considered worthy enough to be his rival so Kazu's had better have been strong enough to not let a handicap hold him back. "Good job, but we should move on, no telling what other surprises those Knights have cooking for us." His stride wouldn't be as graceful as normal, there would be a slight (almost unnoticable) pain in his step and he would be holding one arm over the other to try and hide the burn he'd received. In all reality, without his digisoul to protect him, he was vulnerable like an exposed nerve, with no way of protecting himself other than by pure will.

Gaomon would be silent as he walked behind Marcus, choosing to ignore the other digimon, somewhat taking the would be role of his tamer as the loner member of the group. He would casually look at Kazu's Veemon and would smirk. "Don't die too quickly now, you hear? You owe us a battle." He would say, hinting at the fact that Kazu would have been Marcus's opponent if not for the interruption.

I Will Fight


Nicholas would sigh after he saw that all the enemy digimon were gone and defeated. He sighed and continued to walk following Marcus and his Gaomon. He wondered who these people were and wondered if they would introduce themselves to him. As they walked he said, "Ummm. I think we should introduce ourselves to each other. Its better than saying stuff like you, him and all those vague terms especially when we may need to work together. Well I'll start then. My name is Nicholas Dolosera and this Blitz my very first digimon. Its nice to meet all of you.". Blitz would just wave at them all still holding his long sword made out of chrome digizoid in his hands. The two of them would just stay quiet after that not wanting to say anything else since anymore was unneeded until that is they were all in danger then most likely they would all be shouting and talking again. Nicholas had let go of his right arm since he realized that there really was not much point in holding his arm even if it did hurt since it would not heal from him touching it. He suspected it was just a bruise or at most a sprain but whatever it may have been it wouldn't matter since he needed to focus on surviving for now.

Kazu covered his face as Dawn's fireball eradicated the Gladimon in front of him. "Phew..." Kazu rubbed Veemon's head and smiled at Dawn. "Thanks for the save." Kazu watched Marcus walk by, commenting on how they weren't out of the wood just yet. Nodding he and Veemon followed their rival. Veemon's ear would p***k up as Gaomon told him to not die too quickly, Veemon chuckled, "The same goes for you too pal! It seems we can't help but be drawn into fights together." the dragon would laugh heartily at the ironic fate of them all.

As they walked Nicholas spoke up, suggesting they all introduce one another. It was a good idea that would lower any confusion should another fight crop up, which it was more then likely to. "Good plan. Nice to meet you, Nicholas, Blitz." Kazu would wave to each before introducing himself. "The name's Kazu, Kazu Matsumoto. And this here is Veemon, he was my first partner too." Veemon would grin widely and wave to everyone present. Even in such a bleak situation, this simple act of social interaction would be enough to ease Kazu up somewhat. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed Marcus, the prideful way he usually held himself was gone, or at least diminished, he was holding his arm too. Kazu grimaced, it looked like he was injured. He chose not to say anything on the matter, Marcus was too prideful to accept help. Kazu chuckled to himself, if it were him he would do the exact same thing. Shaking his head he carried on.

Dawn heard the compliments."Thanks i aim to please." Dawn took a slight bow."Hey what about me." Dracomon had jumped and punched Dawn in the arm."I'm sorry..We..We aim to please." Dawn put out a fist bump to Dracomon. Draco kindly accepted the fist bump. They both then heard Nicholas suggest we introduce ourselves. The partners heard their "teammates" introduce themselves."Why hello there my name is Dawn." He took another bow."And this is my partner Draco." Dawn had pointed to Draco who also took a bow."Speaking of our names can i get a new one. I don't really like it." Dracomon asked Dawn."If that is what you wish shore." Dawn nodded. Draco leapt for joy."But when we are finished here." Dracomon then gave a scolding look at Dawn as Dawn laughed.

ENCOUNTER 2

As the group continues to travel outside of the arena and makes their way towards the exit, they are once again halted by enemy digimon. This time, however, the tamers may find themselves dealing with more than they could possibly deal with. In front of the tamers stand 5 pawnchessmon and 2 greymon.

The fire breathing dragon beasts would be at the front of the group of enemies, growling at the tamers. Flames spilling from their razor fanged mouths, ready to burn the tamers to bits.
[4s hit all tamers around the initial target, description of placement is KEY]

The small militia of chess pieces would stand in front of the doorway with their shields raised and spears pointed outward like a spiked barricade.
[HIT rolls of 1 result in a 1dmg recoil]
