Ambush on Voslov Bridge

Radio message:
With all military units pulling back to Jacinto, the Locust Horde was emerging ahead of the retreating COG forces. Jannermont and Andius both fell in front of Gears troops. At least 50 Grubs ambushed the draw-bridge, killing all the Gears in the area and looting all the bodies and vehicles.

-Neptune gets to his drop pod,climbs in,and deploys towards the ground with his LMG made by C.R.E by him and fell towards the earth.


-3 minutes later he lands hurries out of the pod and sets off to find the captain of this C.O.G platoon-

-Just as three bullets wizzzz by the captain he bolts and takes cover behind the car in front of him.,He locks his gun in assault rifle mode then fires off 6 rounds towards the grubs-

[Rage of Despair]

The transmission about a Horde attack and soldiers pulling out of Jacinto. He took up his Sniper Rifle and heavy machine gun, loading up with several other COG's to be transported to combat. He knew it would be fruitless to be dropped off directly in the face of combat. He sat back and felt the transports clumsy tires tread through the rough ground. It reminded him of older days...

Suddenly, he felt the urge to hop out of the transport, doing just that. Landing several feet, rolling at the fall, he ended up in a small alleyway. He heard an explosion in the distance and gunfire.

Guess they weren't going to wait for us to just come and save the day...

He quickly moved up ahead, making his way quickly to high ground.

-After hearing the radio message, He stands up, picks up his lancer and puts his fire out and starts walking towards the Voslov Bridge-
"I should check it out." He says to himself.

-the cogs allie the 501st clone troopers where in route when their only transport a lone gunship got hit. it spun the smashed in to the enemy lines on the bridge taking a small amount out.-"come on troopers we got give these bastards hell!" -vet the leader of the 501st pushed the side door open on the gun ship and began firing his dc-15 as two other clones followed him. he ran to the cog that were pined down and took cover-

"Give it to them! Give them everything you've got!"
Commader Tad bellowed as he and his Blood Gears squadron pushed forward into the front lines. Equipped with heavy weapons, he and his men were in charge of holding up the line of escape for the remainder of the fleeing COG troops. As Tad pressed the firefight on, a few of his men were working behind him by dragging out more blockades to slow the horde down.

Amidst the firefight, a grub had sprung from behind cover toward Tad. While holding onto the heavy machine gun with his right hand and firing, Tad drew out his signature 20-shot revolver with his left and unloaded five clean shots into the grub. The act of self defense had dropped the grub's body onto the floor and had left it lifeless.
"Where the hell are you, Vet?" Tad yelled into his comm link with annoyance. "If were going to hold the buggers off, we're gonna need more firepower!"

vet and his two troopers ran back to the rear looking for the person in command.

-He hears the sound of guns firing and starts running towards the bridge-

Commander Tad continues to pelt out live ammunition from his heavy machine gun as he holsters his pistol. Before returning concentration with both his hands on his rampaging weapon, Tad clicks his comm. link and began to bolt out orders.

"This is Commander Squirrel of Blood Gears squadron. We are holding the last line of defense to Voslov Bridge. If there are any survivors, get your a** to our location. If you any form of balls left, you may rally on us and aide us with firepower. I repeat, this is Commander Squirrel. We are holding the last line of defense to Voslov Bridge. Any survivors, get your a** to our location. We can only hold this position for T minus thirty minutes."

-Jacob clicks his comm to reply-

"Commander Squirrel this is Sgt. Miller, I am almost to the bridge. ETA Five minutes"

The comm link buzzed with excitement as Tad received the reply. By now his squadron had already bunkered down in protective cover. The ground and walls were painted with a fresh new coating blood while bullet casings decorated it. Luckily, there weren't many casualties within the Blood Gear squad.

"Sgt. Miller, What company do you represent? What are your numbers?"

As vet and his two trooper dashed across the bridge a enemy sniper hit the two troopers. vet stopped grabed their dc-15s then ran like hell to the rally point. as he did so the clicked his com"Cpt Vet 501st. on sence. ETA 3 mins..."
