"That name does not have anything to do with Dante. Just a title for me because of my abilities. It doesn't mean I'm some kind of god. Hmm Dante may have been a powerful fighter but he wasn't a godkiller he had weaknesses and so does his son Soren. Which makes him beatable. I may not be to sure what Soren's weakness is but I will figure it out sooner or later. If a being can kill a god that would mean that being that they killed was not a god ." Ryoko said as slot 1 began to be covered by a layer of reiatsu repressing metal. "A god huh...?" Ryoko thought as he placed his hands in his pockets. "I'm picking three other traces of reiatsu that look recent someones been here. My guess is that Dantes reiatsu must be placed in several major cities so I'm guessing my next stop should be somewhere out of japan where too next?" Ryoko asked the remnant. Through out his thoughts it seemed that there was something odd about the reiatsu of Dante that he found here and the reiatsu he felt from the remnant they seemed similar but they also had their differences.

"your right Ryoko... Dante did have a weaknesses... But it was his weaknesses that led him to his victory... And his death... You see a "god" is nothing more then a condensed supply of Spirits... Meaning they may as well just be incredibly strong hollows... Only ones that have minds of their own... And which powers far surpass that of any other... You see Dante knew he couldn't win... The only thing he did was sever the "gods" original spirit... meaning all that power... it's all around you... that other presence... that raw power you feel in the air... That is the remaining power of a god... But the thing that killed Dante was the fact that the god it's self was comprised of so many spirit codes... His mind... It couldn't handle so many codes at one time... Truth be told this wasn't the first time he'd called out said god..." He said as static started flickering in and out.

"you see it's because of that god that Dante wound up a hollow... He was left for dead after their first fight... the god thinking it a joke or funny upon watching him be devoured... But it was Dante's sheer hate... That stubborn will of his that allowed him to maintain his Sanity... Tho... He never really had it to begin with then you think about it... Never the less... After his first fight be began thinking of a way to cut through Spirit codes, without the need to sort them... This was when he created an ability he named Divine intervention... Or something along those lines... You see the ability, rather then cutting through spirit codes... Erased any in his path... And because the god was nothing more then spirit codes... There was no physical body stopping him from using this ability..." He said sighing.

"you see if there is a physical body in place of a spirit... Or housing one... Then the ability does nothing... Think of your body as a shield against such overwhelming power... but back to my point... Dante severed that original soul... And because of the remaining spirit codes in the air... He snapped... His mind couldn't handle so many codes floating around him... It was like melting from the inside out... I can remember he even started begging at one point for the pain to stop... He attempted to take his own life even... But couldn't even do that... not to mention the fact that his ability... The one he'd created... Dante basically stole his own soul... And used it as a weapon... But before he passed on... He'd thought ahead... Giving Misao a vial of his own blood... Creating a remnant... Knowing others would want his power... Knowing they'd steal his body... He fused with his remnant... gaining extraordinary powers... but his soul was diminished to the point where he could barely use that power... the more he used it... The quicker his time ran out..." He said.

"Hmmm... So thats what led to his downfall and this other trace of reiatsu is the trace of that god. But still what being would be called a god if it is destroyed so easily? This remnant is Soren he's like me, an artificial shinigami with a bounded ability that is difficult to gain. Hmph who would of thought that someone would do that kind of process. But Soren's abiliy of breaking spirit codes can it actually now break through a physical body? An improved version of that ability would be dangerous unless used carefully." Ryoko asked as he started to walk to the edge of the crater. He had no use for reiatsu of a dead god nor was there any more reiatsu of Dante that he gathered in the crater. It was about time to head to the next area. This area was sucked dry of reiatsu so Ryoko climbed out of crater and started to walk through the forest heading to town.

I've spent so much time
searching for my brother

A Garganta opened near the crater as Xavior stepped out, now standing directly in front of the crater. He stared at the gaping hole as he then sat down at the edge and sighed. "So, now I'm at a crossroads. If you were here big brother... well you'd probably be disappointed in me for coming to you for help yet again. But this time... well things are tough. Soren is gone now and I don't where to look for him and now I have to figure out where my loyalties lie. Do I help the Shinigami and betray our own race? Or do I stay true to our kind and sever practically the only friendly tie I have with the Soul Society. I know I keep asking you for so much and I keep coming to you for help but I never have the answers to the problems that arise in my life. I'm sorry I can't just let you become a memory. It's something that I can't accept yet. Your my older brother and... I guess... I don't know... I didn't want the only person I could actually trust leave me alone. I guess that's the one thing I fear the most... being alone."

A small wolf then appeared next to Xavior and cuddled up to him. Xavior then rubbed the wolf's head and smiled a bit. "I guess I have to get used to that feeling, huh? I mean, everyone ends up being alone at some point in their life, I guess this is my time now. Maybe I shouldn't look at it as being lonely though. I have to look at it as solitude, finding out what I have to do with myself from now on. First thing's first though, I have to find Soren. After I take care of him... I'll figure out where my place is in existence. Just watch me Dante. You may have had the power to kill a god but I'll find something stronger than that myself. I don't know how or where but that's what will make the journey that much more exciting."

I can't stop until he's found
so I'll hold on to his memory
