"Focus, take my hands, and speak aloud my true name. That will complete our synthesis. I shall remain with you as your shadow from then on. When you wish to combine our power in combat, call out my name once more."

Trinity took a deep breath she exhaled and said, The darker the shadow- she took her hands and waited for her to finish the phrase then said, "Sillouette" they were engulfed in light.

The Count of Monte Carlo
Yep, she was crazy. Even though she'd lifted the bike with one arm only moments ago, He still couldn't see her summoning the strength to throw him. Even with a bionic arm, her figure was that of a slim woman shorter than he was. Still, if she could pull it off, getting close to the DJ would be a great way to take him out.

It seemed like an insane plan, but as he thought it out, he could sense the DJ's booth. He couldn't see it as clearly as he could most other electronics, but he could feel a major amount of power within it. There was something else, as well; that certain feeling of apprehension in the air, the feeling just before a lightning bolt. The DJ was ready for another attack. If he was going to cross the aisle to Gidget, they had to be quick. He looked to her again with a deep breath, and nodded.

Gidget nodded back to Ako, leaned back against the pillar, took a deep breath, leaned over to throw up, and then sat back up again. The thumping bass was pissing her off. She hated feeling sick. She felt good for the first time in weeks today, and this little p***k had to ruin it for her.

Her right hand expanded again. She swung it around the pillar and fired several shots at the DJ while she ran toward Ako.

DJ Dead Light did not duck this time. He knew the machine girl was firing wildly. The moment she poked her hand out the bass began it's drop. Two seconds later and the barrage of lights and pounding sound waves intercepted three of the shots she had fired while the rest had went wide during the drop.

One of the sound waves hit her bionic leg and swept it out from underneath her, causing her to fall forward with a shout. She slid the last few feet toward Ako.

Her right hand returned to normal as she brought her hands back to her ears to drown out the noise. She was relieved when it returned to that stupid bass rhythm.

"Ugh...what an a*****e." she grunted.

"He is actually timing the bass drops. We have about a two second window before the light show starts."

[Trinity took a deep breath she exhaled and said, The darker the shadow- she took her hands and waited for her to finish the phrase then said, "Silhouette" they were engulfed in light.

"-the brighter the light."

When Trinity spoke her name aloud, Silhouette's eyes snapped open wide as though brought out of a deep slumber. They shone a brilliant shining silver that pierced the light.

She gasped as the first Trinity's shadow mark glowed and seemed to float back toward it's giver. The mark was more than a tattoo, it was a part of the daughter of shadows. It had now returned from whence it came.

The light dissipated and Silhouette stood before Trinity as she appeared eons ago. A rather plain beauty that was adorned in a dark dress that fell to all sides like a willow's limbs. She was holding Trinity's hands and crying silently. Her silver eyes glistened from behind a curtain of obsidian black locks.

She moved her fingers a little bit and took in the first moment she had held someone with her own hands in several millennium.

"You did it." she said proudly, almost unable to contain her joy.

Trinity smiled back "I'm glad I could help, now let's show them what we got." Her eyes opened, they were glowing she emerged from Rydia's shadow which was 3 seconds later after she left. She waited as they spoke to one another and took a brief moment to check for messages or e-mails. Nothing? Really? she looked to the corner of her smart phone and found that there was no signal, not even cell. This is not good, I can't call for back up if necessary... hopefully I won't need it. Since she couldn't send or receive anything she couldn't update Theonis with her hourly report. He may be wondering why she hasn't reported in yet but there was nothing she could do about it, at least not now anyway.

When their conversation wrapped up, with a smirk, "I hope you ladies are done flirting for now... we've got a floating island to save."

Rydia's eyes went peeked with surprise.

""H-hey, you were the one that just disthappeared. I'fe been training for thisth moment my whole life."

Carak barked in response. Rydia pointed her shoulder to her canine companion and added, "And him too, he'sth also been training."

"Oh you're just jealous your boss ain't here. I bet that does spice up the bedroom doesn't it?" Liv teased before stretching, getting the kinks out of there.

"Anyway, they will be here in a few minutes. We should probably get outside."

"I was gone for 3 seconds... in time for Liv's introduction. Lead the way Rydia." she looks to Liv and said, "what happens in the bedroom, stays there." She could have said something along the lines of With all this flirting I suppose this meant you were done with my man. which may put her in an awkward position with Rydia. But she refrained, Freya was right now is not time for a cat fight.

"Rydia, if you could, lead the way."
PostPosted: Fri Jan 16, 2015 11:06 am
As Rydia led her new companions to the rally point, it was apparent that news and orders travel quickly on the island. There was even more of a rush in the citadel as troops, clerics, and citizens were going every which way.

Rydia led them to the far point of the citadel that was on the side of the island closest to the main land. Freya and Adam were already there.

"Aunt Freya!" Rydia shouted. She ran up to her aunt and gave her a enormous bear hug.

Freya had only a fraction of a second to smile before she was lifted up by her impossibly strong niece. She grunted and made a face as the irony of the situation was made clear to her. This was what a hug from Okami felt like.

Adam was smoking something that resembled a cigarette as he watched the exchange happen.

"Alright you two, wrap it up. We've got to stay frosty."

There was some commotion to their right. Adam turned his head and cursed under his breath.

"s**t, that's all we need. Religious nut jobs." he said distastefully while he threw his smoke on the ground and stomped out the cherry.

Sure enough, a small group of heavily adorned and old elves were attempting to break through the guard barrier. Their robes were laden with images of dragon's, flame, and a strange symbol that resembled a combination of the symbols for the planets Saturn and Neptune.

Well...they certainly were a bit lighthearted about all of this.

Liv got an idea.

"Hey Adam.....do you guys have any big statues? Like massive ones? Because if you do we could add that to your forces. I can bring em to live. And I don't know how hard it will be to bring Heather back to her senses. If we have something her own size distracting her.....it'd help."

"How the hell do they even know a dragon is coming? I mean we told you but.....do they all know?"

PostPosted: Fri Jan 16, 2015 4:03 pm
Adam shook his head and sighed, "Unfortunately not. The last king had giant statues of himself all over the place, but the citizenry destroyed them after Kaelonni and I killed him. Don't worry, he was a tyrant d**k. We were asked to do what a ninja and a merc do best by the last Queen. Yeah, he was that much of an a*****e. She gave Kaelonni an opportunity to inherit the throne when it was discovered my wife was descendant from a branch royal family."

"As for the order of the dragon...ugh...some of the guards are members of the various sects an- yup right on cue. Now we're being joined by the other types of dragon priests. If you'll excuse me, I need to defuse this before it gets out of hand."

Several other elves had shown up, their clothes similar but different in what color their dragon was. They began to argue with the other dragon priests. Adam excused himself and trudged over to them, trying to get himself heard over the commotion.

Rydia was about to comment when her ears twitched. She could hear something in the distance over the shouting. But there was something else. There was a ringing in her ears.

Freya's ears also twitched, except the ringing in her ears was accompanied by a horrified expression. She looked over to Adam, and then Rydia. She knew what was coming, and there wasn't enough time for her to stop it.

"Trinity, Liv, the beast master is with Heather and Dusk! Rydia, Adam, and I are susceptible to his influence!" she shouted.

Trinity quirked an eyebrow as Rydia and Freya embraced. She's stronger than she looks.

Trinity swore under her breath. She needed to sink them imediately. Her shadow connected with Freya's, Adam's, Rydia's and Carac's. The five of them fell through their shadow. Although this meant they were safe it did not mean the rest of those who are part animal were safe. She tried to see if she could get to Valhalla to see if Gidget may have a way to block the beast but found there was no way to go further. What gives? she wondered, perhaps it had something to do with the island.

"Freya, how does the beast master do it? Do we have a way to block it? I can't seem to get to Valhalla, it's like there's a barrier."

"Well. that's too bad." Liv replied to Adam as he gave his answer.

Then there was the thing about them being susceptible to the beastmaster. Which also made perfect sense as they were part beast. Or Bast whatever they called themselves. Trinity already took care of them. Now it was just her....and the guards. Maybe it was for the best. Less people could see her new eyes if she used them. She prepared for the arrival of the three. Dusk, that beastmaster and Heather. She knew her priorities. Kill and or Drain the beastmaster first. With him out of the way the rest was safe.

"Freya, how does the beast master do it? Do we have a way to block it? I can't seem to get to Valhalla, it's like there's a barrier."

Freya grabbed her head. Rydia, Adam, and Carak were soon groaning from impending intrusion.

"He just has to be close. The closer he is, the more power he has. He can reach us even in the shadow realm. That's how he forced me to fight you and kill Matron. He...he's probably riding on the dragon now."

"I told you, there's...there's a barrier. No way in...no way out. Take us to the fields outside of the city. No people...less damage...will take....will take...ugh."

Sill called out to Trinity. "We can leave them here. If you cut yourself a little bit, the blood can expand and keep a bubble around them so they wont die in the toxic environment."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Heather beat her wings steadily as she brought the awful people on her back toward the island. She could hear them conspiring. They were planning to kill a lot of people.
Dusk had wrapped his essence around Teshoumaru, changing his appearance to how he looked in Sill's memory. He stood atop Heather at the front with a malicious grin on his face. He was wearing Teshoumaru's battle attire. Around his hips were four blades of various shapes and sizes. He had plans for them.
Behind him were three other people, each wearing a mask forged from metal. The youngest, the beastmaster, had tiger stripe etchings on his mask. The second one had a flaming star etched over her left eye opening. The third's mask had strange etchings across his forehead that would make no sense to anyone else but him.
As they approached the island Teshou took a deep, satisfied breath. He shuffled back a little bit and looked to the girl with the star on her mask. "It's time, Theresa. You know what to do."
PostPosted: Sat Jan 17, 2015 9:14 am
The woman with the star on her mask stood up. Her hair was a dark blue and tied back into two long pigtails that reached down to her rear and blew back in the wind. She was wearing boots, a black bikini top, cut off shorts, and a black duster. She had what looked like an AT4 in her left hand.
Theresa carefully walked up in front of Teshoumaru and then dropped to one knee. She shifted her weight and brought the rocket launcher up to her left shoulder. She peeked through the target reticle and took aim at the very edge of the great city.
She leaned back, pressed a trigger, and launched a single missile. It sailed in an arch before it started in it's downward trajectory. A compartment opened and the missile released a dozen more smaller missiles. Then those missiles opened and released a dozen more shells each.
144 explosive golf ball sized explosives peppered a shop district at the far end of the vast city. Much farther away than the guards an Adam had perhaps anticipated.
Liv could hear the explosions and the panic that followed.
"Get the hell out of here!" She shouted at the people and ran towards the shopping district. Running wasn't an accurate description. Her speed was much higher than what she could achieve with a run. A trail of light was the only thing she left behind as she tapped into her Light Goddess power for a bit. Liv had no idea how much the battle would take out of her so she wanted to conserve as much strength as she could.
When she arrived there was....screaming, people running, buildings in rubble while others were ablaze. She really wasn't prepared for anything like this. Her training was how to take people out with her power and while she had a good degree of hand to hand combat, she never learned how to deal with situations like this.
Liv patted her cheeks a bit and shook her head." Well....here we go..." With a flash she stood ontop of the tallest building around. One that was still standing. And she could see....the form of Heather in the distance.
"Sorry girl....Ill make it up to you later." She said out loud as many small orbs formed around her. Little balls of light. She had no idea if this place had any form of Anti-Air defense so for the moment that was up to her. They aimed at the dragon and fired a burst of laser beams at the dragon and people riding on top of it.
