The Count of Monte Carlo Yep, she was crazy. Even though she'd lifted the bike with one arm only moments ago, He still couldn't see her summoning the strength to throw him. Even with a bionic arm, her figure was that of a slim woman shorter than he was. Still, if she could pull it off, getting close to the DJ would be a great way to take him out. It seemed like an insane plan, but as he thought it out, he could sense the DJ's booth. He couldn't see it as clearly as he could most other electronics, but he could feel a major amount of power within it. There was something else, as well; that certain feeling of apprehension in the air, the feeling just before a lightning bolt. The DJ was ready for another attack. If he was going to cross the aisle to Gidget, they had to be quick. He looked to her again with a deep breath, and nodded.
Gidget nodded back to Ako, leaned back against the pillar, took a deep breath, leaned over to throw up, and then sat back up again. The thumping bass was pissing her off. She hated feeling sick. She felt good for the first time in weeks today, and this little p***k had to ruin it for her.
Her right hand expanded again. She swung it around the pillar and fired several shots at the DJ while she ran toward Ako.
DJ Dead Light did not duck this time. He knew the machine girl was firing wildly. The moment she poked her hand out the bass began it's drop. Two seconds later and the barrage of lights and pounding sound waves intercepted three of the shots she had fired while the rest had went wide during the drop.
One of the sound waves hit her bionic leg and swept it out from underneath her, causing her to fall forward with a shout. She slid the last few feet toward Ako.
Her right hand returned to normal as she brought her hands back to her ears to drown out the noise. She was relieved when it returned to that stupid bass rhythm.
"Ugh...what an a*****e." she grunted.
"He is actually timing the bass drops. We have about a two second window before the light show starts."

Adam shook his head and sighed, "Unfortunately not. The last king had giant statues of himself all over the place, but the citizenry destroyed them after Kaelonni and I killed him. Don't worry, he was a tyrant d**k. We were asked to do what a ninja and a merc do best by the last Queen. Yeah, he was that much of an a*****e. She gave Kaelonni an opportunity to inherit the throne when it was discovered my wife was descendant from a branch royal family."
"As for the order of the dragon...ugh...some of the guards are members of the various sects an- yup right on cue. Now we're being joined by the other types of dragon priests. If you'll excuse me, I need to defuse this before it gets out of hand."
Several other elves had shown up, their clothes similar but different in what color their dragon was. They began to argue with the other dragon priests. Adam excused himself and trudged over to them, trying to get himself heard over the commotion.
Rydia was about to comment when her ears twitched. She could hear something in the distance over the shouting. But there was something else. There was a ringing in her ears.
Freya's ears also twitched, except the ringing in her ears was accompanied by a horrified expression. She looked over to Adam, and then Rydia. She knew what was coming, and there wasn't enough time for her to stop it.
"Trinity, Liv, the beast master is with Heather and Dusk! Rydia, Adam, and I are susceptible to his influence!" she shouted.

PixelMuse Trinity quirked an eyebrow as Rydia and Freya embraced. She's stronger than she looks.Trinity swore under her breath. She needed to sink them imediately. Her shadow connected with Freya's, Adam's, Rydia's and Carac's. The five of them fell through their shadow. Although this meant they were safe it did not mean the rest of those who are part animal were safe. She tried to see if she could get to Valhalla to see if Gidget may have a way to block the beast but found there was no way to go further. What gives? she wondered, perhaps it had something to do with the island. "Freya, how does the beast master do it? Do we have a way to block it? I can't seem to get to Valhalla, it's like there's a barrier."
Freya grabbed her head. Rydia, Adam, and Carak were soon groaning from impending intrusion.
"He just has to be close. The closer he is, the more power he has. He can reach us even in the shadow realm. That's how he forced me to fight you and kill Matron. He...he's probably riding on the dragon now."
"I told you, there's...there's a barrier. No way in...no way out. Take us to the fields outside of the city. No people...less damage...will take....will take...ugh."
Sill called out to Trinity. "We can leave them here. If you cut yourself a little bit, the blood can expand and keep a bubble around them so they wont die in the toxic environment."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Heather beat her wings steadily as she brought the awful people on her back toward the island. She could hear them conspiring. They were planning to kill a lot of people.
Dusk had wrapped his essence around Teshoumaru, changing his appearance to how he looked in Sill's memory. He stood atop Heather at the front with a malicious grin on his face. He was wearing Teshoumaru's battle attire. Around his hips were four blades of various shapes and sizes. He had plans for them.
Behind him were three other people, each wearing a mask forged from metal. The youngest, the beastmaster, had tiger stripe etchings on his mask. The second one had a flaming star etched over her left eye opening. The third's mask had strange etchings across his forehead that would make no sense to anyone else but him.
As they approached the island Teshou took a deep, satisfied breath. He shuffled back a little bit and looked to the girl with the star on her mask. "It's time, Theresa. You know what to do."
