More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

"Would you prefer she remained trapped in that shell? All senses made artificial to her? Damnit Annie, she never even had a first kiss. I swore to my mother and father that she would be happy and healthy if anything happened to them. I wasn't aware of my power when that monster attacked, but I will use it and what intelligence I have to make sure she gets her life back."

"I said I didn't know what I thought anymore," Annie sighed. "My intention isn't to stop you."

Inspecting her nails, "And, anyways, first kisses are overrated. People get so worked up over them but they don't usually mean anything. Hell, my first kiss was for a play in high school."

Shane stewed in his anger at Annie for a few seconds. He couldn't believe she could be so nonchalant about this. That she could just brush off the idea of her friend observing the world around her without experiencing it.

The dark passenger whispered notions of betrayel in his head. That Annie would kill him before the task could be complete. He had to admnit to himself that the voice was getting harder to ignore. He wanted to believe that she was still on his side, but now he wasn't as sure as he was before.

He forced the notion aside for the time being, feeling that now would be a good time to get to know their new "friends."

"So how did you two escape? I don't suppose it happened yesterday when Annie and I ransacked their headquarters?"

"Actually it was. When the thoughts became chaotic I could snatch one. I only needed one to get me out. As for me, she was locked in a room that caused her to float in the middle so she wouldn't do any damage to anything." Alexavier said as if everybody should know that. He glanced over at Cassandra who seemed to be playing some kind of childish game with Gidget's...shell

"After that it was simply....adding more oil to the fire for us to make our cunning escape." He looked back at Shane and Annie."You two have a interesting relationship."

Kerana

Kerana giggled as Larry pet her. She liked when people per her. She was able to hear what the names are. "Nice to meet you Larry and Heather." she paused as she heard Liv, and remembered the real good ear rub she gave.

Then she saw Gidget's presentation. "Gidget's power is soo cool. Sometimes I wish I could do the cool stuff she can do. I could point at the tv to turn it on and switch to the channel I want. Dim the lights and enjoy my favorite show."

Larry looked around at the flashy spectacle in awe. "Wow."

Heather turned her attention back to Kerana and asked, "Oh, is that what her powers are? That is pretty cool."

Her eyes glanced over at the gorgeous blonde woman again. She asks the girls, "Say, who is that woman that just stood up and asked that question?"

Nova Blancke

Shane glanced over at Annie before returning his eyes to the road. "That's...one way to put it. Gidget, don't eat that lady's hair!"

Gidget stopped a few inches short of putting Cassandra's hair into her mouth. She laughed blissfully and returned to playing with the new girl.

Deora had caught a glimpse of Larry during the speech, but his size didn't really set in until he got close. She wasn't sure who's appearance was more shocking; his or his 'big' sister. She was doing her best not to stare when a flap of skin that should not be there dropped from the girl's neck, and her color changed. Fortunately, she recognized the voice and had to look away. Sure enough it had come from the woman Gidget had asked her to keep an eye on. She barely heard Kerana's question, and it took a moment to realized who she was speaking to. "Oh? I uh, I haven't really met her yet. You probably know more about her than I do."

Larry chuckled and playfully tapped his sister in the arm with his giant knuckle. "Crush."

Heather immediately locked up and stammered in a flustered frenzy, "Wh-what?! I am not you little turd! Who asked you anyways?"

He smiled his enormous smile. "Heh."

She brought her right hand to her snout and cleared her throat, regaining her normal composure. "Sorry about that, he's just full of jokes."

Heather's reptilian lips pulled back into a beaming smile. She nodded her head enthusiastically. She had never felt this immediately infatuated by anyone before. She felt a tickling need to approach that woman and make her existence known. Heather was glad that Kerana was willing to introduce them, because she would probably never have the nerve otherwise.

"Oh hi Keran-" Liv replied before she was pulled away. Her long golden hair almost seemed to dance. Then she saw who it was that Kerana wanted her to introduce to. He was huge! And had a rept-Oh god...a reptile? A Meta that looks like a Reptile? Since Liv was a child she never liked reptiles. The way their tail keeps moving after it was cut off. Yuck. And she had so many teeth! One bite could...But she seemed happy for some reason so Liv tried to suppress her dislike for reptiles.

Looking up to Larry."Not...little at all. Um Hi?" Liv said a bit hesitant due to Larry's sheer size to both of them.


Theonis decided to hang around a bit longer before heading off to train some more. Never know what just might happen right? But seeing as everyone was here....chances of anything big happening were rather slim. That thought kind of shocked him when he thought about it. Was he really waiting for something to happen so he could use that as an excuse to show his powers or was it just that he really wanted to use them?

Trinity felt her phone vibrate with a news alert with the headline "Metahuman attack at Wal-Mart". Cripes... don't tell me it's Shane... she rubbed her head a little. She texts Gidget [ Something is up. I'll meet you in the lab. ]

With that she moved from Gidget's shadow and moved through the Shadow Realm and emerged at Gicget's lab. She went to the nearest computer and started looking up the news about Wal-Mart. She found some footage about what took place and got them ready to show Gidget when she met with her. She saw two new metas fighting Shane and Annie.

Larry raised his enormous hand and waved slowly to Liv. He liked this new lady. He thought she was very pretty."Hi."

Heather's scales turned a darker color, something that may be thought of as blushing. She was never really sure since she has a difficult time looking at herself in a mirror. She could tell that Liv was put off by her appearance. She hoped that Liv would be the type of woman who could look past the scales. She waved shyly at Liv and said, "It's nice to meet you Liv. Oh wow, you're hair is really pretty."

Heather's voice was just like any other young lady's. No hissing or rasps in her speech. In fact it hinted towards the notion that she may have been quite the looker before the change.

Trinity's message appeared in Gidget's HUD. She calmed the electronics down and excused herself from the excited crowd. She walked down the ramp, determined to see what it was that Trinity had to show her.

Her steps slowed to a stop when she lay her eyes on Ako standing at the doorway. She remembered what she had told Tansy the day before, but a good part of it was just to give Tansy something to hold onto. Gidget yearned for Ako, to know his touch and feel his breath against her. The desire was nearly maddening, but she held onto her sanity because she had to.

She smiled pleasantly and approached him. "Hey stranger. I'm surprised to see you here. You didn't come just to see me did you?"
