Eliza groaned slightly, "I wasnt trying anything!!! I was just appearing behind you!" She shouted, growing tired, "I should have slept more..."

Jay rolled his eyes "Well der. Sleep is really important."

Eliza sprawled her body over the cool grass, though it was warm only a few minutes ago, "Goodnight.."

Jay crossed his arms and looked at her skeptically. "Your not really going to sleep out here are you?"

Eliza merely gave him the bird and closed her eyes tighter, trying to rest regardless of what he did.

Jay smiled and shook his head before laying down a few yards away and staring up at the moon.

Eliza swolled a bit of pride before saying this: "Hey... Ive never had a brother before... You're preaty good at it..."

Jay smiled and admired the stars "Ive never had a sister before, but your pretty good at it too."

"Im not giving up, you know." Eliza said sternly, "Untill im as good as mom... I want to be the best... I dont anything else but this anymore, magic and all."

Jay rolled over onto his side to look at her "Dont le tit rule your life. Your young, ejoy yourself and be glad your future hasnt already been decided for you." he said grimly.

Eliza didnt match his gaze for a second, "I want this, you arnt stopping me. I dont care what im going to lose, Id be wasting time if I wasnt working at this as hard as I can." She felt the tears start to well up in her eyes. She was trying to fill a void, but it was only growing inside her.

Jay sighed "Despite what they say in fairy tales, magic doesnt create happily ever afters. Its the people who learn to understand magic and how we bond with it that become content with life."

"Well mabie I dont want a f@#$ing 'content' life, ok!" Eliza yelled at him, curling into a small ball, "I want to be special again... I want to mean something..."

Jay got up on his knees and walked over to her on them. He sat down with his feet under him and looked down at her. "Your related to me now, its impossible not to be special." he said teasingly "Besides, you are special. Your Ovans kid. How much more special can you get than that?" he added smiling.

"Yeah, im the special little girl... Broken hearted forever over a highschool girlfriend and overcomphensating with magical powers." Eliza gripped as she sighed away the pain, "S-sorry..." She said weakly.
