Pick Vs. Finger

It really depends on the song for me. I'll switch it up from time to time. For some covers I do I'll use fingers when the original artist used a pick and it'll sound better for me.

Picking can sound good too, you just need to equalize the frequencies a little better and keep a good technique. Same can be said for fingers.

It depends, some songs sound really good with just using your fingers, but if it's a faster song, then I resort to using a pick. There's something about the warmer, more full-sounding tone when you use your fingers to pluck the strings. I use either my index finger, index and middle finger, middle finger, or sometimes my thumb. Haven't got the hang of slap-style though, I wish XP and I've tried using my index, middle, and ring fingers for playing faster or for triplets, but haven't gotten it to sound decent yet. ninja
