((Ooc: Death is all in the eyes of the beholder. Not all death is painful; most are infact quick and painless. Yet when those who are in pain finally lose their last breath we should not morn for them. Should not weep for their fallen form, but rejoice the life that the lived. No matter how small; how brief, it was a life lived. With moments shared, and bonds formed. We should be thankful that the person in pain will suffer no more. For there is no life after death. No heaven. No hell. Only an eternal slumber of peace and darkness.

I would rather know my death where to come then not know. If the signs loomed about me, I would take it upon myself to be with the ones I loved most for that small time left.

Yet in the end it is a matter of personal belief, personal preception. For the way I see the world, is different from the way you see it; different from the way my siblings see it.))

Taking a seat down before the alter, Kitara leaned her head back against the cold stone slab, her eyes fluttering shut. Arms drapped to her side, she let out a small sigh, muttering to herself a few words continual over and over, almost in a rythmic or lyrical like form. Behind her several of the candles atop the stone lit, providing a warm yet eerie glow about the room. With a small smile of satisfaction the woman nodded her head slowly before drifting off into a light meditation.

((Everybody's veiw of the world is dofferent, of course, either mantally, or, they need glasses, lol.

But how would you know its just eternal slumber? Maybe you just go back to earth again and dont remember a thing, being a different person or animal.
i mean, whos to say its all darkness and that stuff? I'm not as poetic as you are, or anything, im more clutzy, but why is it with most people darkness?
What about the light?
When you say quick and painless deaths, there aren't those either, if you think about it. If you shoot youself, theres still that short, but very very painfull pain of the bullet. Or stab yourself, the knife going into you would hurt.
Of old age, the arthritis, or, not being able to move and losing breath.
Becomming cold before you die.
I wouldlove to know when and how i was gonna die, not so i could stop it, but so i could either drag some people down with me, and have my last moments doing grafitti, stealing as much stuff from the easy corner store and messing about with my friends.
*Shrug* I guess its just on what people beleive, though so many people call death a release, its almost depressing.
I'm not say ing YOU are depressing, i just mean the fact that so many people think dying will help.
*Shrug*))

((To me, I believe it is an enternal slumber, something to which we shall never open our eyes again, and with closed eyes how could one possibly see light? Yet there are million, if not billions of people in this world that feel that there is life after death. I am not one of them. I feel, you get one chance. ******** that up and why should you get a second? Repeat the same mistakes of the past and die just the same. There is no purpose in that.

In comparison Emily, comparison. There is no way to say that death can be truly painless, for have you ever seen a dead person move their lips? Held your hand as they told you just how it was? How it was to die? Once death is prounouced. Heart and brain stopped. Blood ceasing to flow, nothing can change that. Yet, to die via gun shot is less excruciating then to die via slow and prolonged torture.

I cannot understand your reasoning for wanting to do those things before you would die, however, that's what makes the world so different. So diverse. I could never take someone down with me, just because of some dishearted feeling I held towards them. Life is not something that I wish to take, but give. To change. To open someone's eyes to the joys of the world, the warm feelings and not the cold isolate life, surrounded by pain. And I want to be with the people I love. The ones who showed me that love in return and taught me how to smile. How to believe.

From the moment we are born, we will eventually die. We are not immortal. So when that time comes, embrace it. Take life for what it is, and hold it just one last time. Draw it close to your heart. Cry with the ones you love. Smile with them. Love with them. To be afraid of what is inevitable, is to be naive. To be blissful. Those who cannot accept death, truly never accepted life.

But then again, that is my view on the whole subject.))

((When i died, i saw a blue light, so have many people, apparently, its the cyycle your brain goes through yadda yadda or some dumb old rubbish.
Some people do die with their eyes open, and gyes, gunshot maybe less excrutiating, but it is none the less.

Some people don't deserve the joys of life, the warmth, friends and whatever, it dosesn't happen to everybody

We all die, but we don't want to do it soon, life is fun, life changes.

So i still miss on how death, is a good thing.))

(( Lights? @.@;; Oh boy...gunshots are less painful because there's one moment where you feel this...pinch, this pain. But its not much pain, just a hint of it. Because due to that gunshot, you're dead before the real pain has a chance to set in. What about dying in your sleep eh? Does that hold pain as well?

Heh, you two talk like old crones. Like my mom and her mom. Always bickering...Hm...Anyway, its not my place to interfere with this oh so joyous convo bout death, but death is in the eys of the beholder. You both have your own beliefs and your own point of views and once you hold to them, stick with them nobody can change your mind about a matter already sorted out in your head. The way you view something is just that, your sole thought. And to try and sway someone to your belief is just plain dumb. Have your own beliefs, letothers have theirs. If she has a different view about death then so be it, you do as well. Just let it go. Focus on death and your perception of it too much and you'll completely drown out the now, live and let live. Think about death when the time comes, until then however, just let it be. Its pointless and redundant to think of it now.

P.S = Very bored and not my place to argue, but I love a good arguement. ^___^ And..er...*poof* I'm gone. x3 ))

(I know it's pointless and redundant, and i am not trying to sway her opinion, I am just wondering, how death can be so warm and conforting when your body goes cold?

And, im just bored. X3 nice to see you though, yoko. ..

[[It looks like a nice place, but not my kind of thing. True I'm into the out of world role plays, but as demons and angels and such -- and on that note more so the past then the futuristic approach.]]
