I was startled by the use of weaponry. I hadn't prepared for anything like this at all....Then i realized it might have been a bad idea to rush in here un-announced.
"Woah! Hold on there, its just me!" i pleaded calmly. I was certain they were ready to slit my throat. When i saw they had calmed down i approached. I stood before them as i watched the shock play on their faces. Tears came to my eye's as i looked at Lecta again....I didnt think i'd be able to compose myself....

"E-eleyym..."she whispered, her eyes werre wide. Asay sat up and licked the side of his face, moving her large paws around exitedly"Your alive! Your ok!"she screetched, raising to her feet and hugged him tight"Oh thank the gods..."she breathed, tightening her grip around his waist and burried her face in his chest"I...I thought you wouldnt make it..I was so scared..."tears formed in the elven queens eyes, and a sob passed thru her lips. Asay lowered her head and nuzzled the end of her nose against Lecta's back comfortingly.

"Run. Hide. Do something quick!" he whispered loudly. Lecta's loud voice has caused a stir within the room. Footsteps slowly approached along with its great shadow exiting the hallway. "Elyym. I'm glad you're fine but let's keep it down."
Favian ran up a few steps, hoping its suspicions would wear off.

I gladly embraced Lecta back, holding her close, as a father should. Tears streamed down my cheeks now. I could feel Lecta's tears on my chest as well. It was an intimate moment, and i wished it would never end....but unfortunately, favian was right. Now probably wasnt the best time for this. I looked into Lecta's eyes, slowly, and reluctantly, withdrawing from the embrace. She was so beautiful...How could i not be proud?

"Get behind Asay..."she whispered, her voice was cracked from crying. Slidding away from him. She ducked down behind her dragon, Asay layed on her side, her scales started to change colours matching the wall"Get over here..."she whispered to the other two. Asay hissed, lowering her wing over Lecta's small figure and curled herself around her"Heh...I love Dragons...there camouflage is wonderfull...".

I ducked with Lecta behind the large dragon. Favian followed, making sure nobody was in the immediate vicinity. I assumed nobody was, but still, every hair on my body was standing on edge. I was still emotional after the reuniting....So we crouched there, and waited.....

The beast retreated to its duties, shaking off what he may have heard. Luckily, the foul stench surrounding the tunnel network was strong enough so that it could not detect them.
"What's our plan?" he whispered softly. "Elyym, after all, just recovered from his injuries."

"I'm fine..." i said. It was only a half-lie, because my body was healed entirely, but my heart was aching still. I felt as though i should be blubbering like a child, but my will lost it's power, and my survival became first....second priority. My first priority was Lecta. We had to get out..."Why are we here? Do you intend to fight the undead alone?" i asked favian in hushed tones. Strength returned to my voice with every word, but it was a mask. Fear wrapped itself around my heart. We were about to fight undead...i was not a fighter. I did not even have a weapon. Apart from my infernal stars, i was almost helpless...infernal stars... i thought to myself. Perhaps they were more useful then i'd made them i my lifespan. I did not voice my thoughts, but merely waited for Favian's reply, in the darkness.....

Her grip on Eleyym was tight, tears streamed down her cheeks. Atleast the girl was capable of quietly crying"A-are w-we safe..."the elven women stuttered, the smell was awefull. Asay's breaths werre heavy, she could feel the dragons belly press against her small form. Her heart was beating fast, perhaps out of joy, and fear. 18 years and she was still scared of going into battle. How fully, hopefully a battle would not come for now. It would be much to dangerous to have roots shoot out of the walls and the ground beneath them. The tunnel may collapse"Personaly, we should continue on..and try to avoid combat...Eleyym is in no condition, and I can not use any of my spells here without the tunnels collapsing..".

"I told you, i'm fine..." i chuckled with little humor. What were we to do? It was indeed a mystery. None of us moved for a long time. No sounds were heard except for out shallow breathing, hoping beyond hope that no enemies lay invisible, and silent before us. Finally, i decided to take charge and get moving...An odd feeling that stirred in me, leadership. Mostly i was the protector of the leader, but i never actually 'lead' anybody, in so many words. Sure, i'd guided but the two were different. Now it was time, "Let's go" i said, and, letting go of all but lecta's hand, started walked further into the tunnel. I called a few stars to my attention, and let them light the way. Our journey began again, into the depths...into a dungeon....darkness....

For days they travelled under ground. Many times they thought they heard enemies...several times, they fought them. The undead were strong.
What they found in the depths, nobody can guess. All we know is that they dissapeared in the darkness. Nobody heard from them again...
The Past remains. The future still hidden. The present is all we know...
