In other news, I'm now 23, older than four out of five of my main characters. neutral *drinks*

I am also 23, and older than pretty much all of my main characters (if you don't count Kita, and given that she's a plot-orphan at the moment, I don't) since I seem to be on something of a YA kick. No, that doesn't mean I stopped abusing the s**t out of my characters, just that they're all between 12 and 18, and they explore themes of relationship, identity, responsibility, and adulthood in between watching everyone they love die, being somewhat forced to risk their lives for the amusement of others, and having their increased momentum towards death be used both as a useless magic power and the means of feeding an entire civilization.

Wait, no. There's Howard, and he's like... old.

I am actually sticking to one project, the Black Circus (there's an incredibly shitty synopsis over in the Story Sharing section) and have actually produced a decent amount of actually written content, such that my original planning is no longer sufficient and I must now go back and figure out more things. Which is... not a position I've ever been in, actually.

I do intend to finish it and seek to publish it, so I'm not going to go overboard posting s**t about it, but I have been calming down a bit about copyright issues of late, so you can expect to see some of the actual written bits in somewhat less than forever, probably.

I could mention what it means regarding alcohol, but I can only think I can buy myself a sword without needing authorization. What would I do with a sword? Good question.

... and on the East Coast... and in college (again)... and single (also again)... and have the beginning of an extremely awesome story with a character I can torture the snot out of (probably literally) and will most likely never finish (also also again), so go me. Woot!

Also, for reference, the deceased computer's name was Gilliam. I now have no illusions about making films on my laptops, but it's successor might just be named Kubrick because... hell, it's a naming scheme.

We probably need some other method of hanging out with each other virtually, because quite frankly, I don't log onto Gaia that often any more except for when I'm feeling nostalgic. It also seems that most of us have moved on to other, real life things, and don't have the time to do character torturing stuffs anymore. crying
