Nalfein I'm reading a manga called BECK, about Japanese indie rock bands. biggrin It's so cool. I love how they do parodies of album covers at the beggining of each chapter. So far I've recognize Number Girl, Quruli, Shiina Ringo, Ramones, Green Day and Radiohead. I have a review of "BECK" in a magazine somewhere and thought that I should definitely check it out. It seems interesting enough to warrant money spending.

I just got into this manga called Crimson Hero about this girl who loves to play volley ball. It's pretty cool and funny. I like it a lot. I plan on dressing as the main character for anime expo.

I am currently into this manga series called BLAME!
It is cyber punk, that is all.
The artstyle is different, and the story is a bit different too. I mean imagine! The settings is this stupid huge metal structure that is constantly growing (makes it sound almost like it should be an MMORPG AMIRITE?), and the character constantly goes up what appear to be endless floors (zomg dungeon crawler much?).
Although it is a bit hard to understand, that is what makes it interesting because it is a bit of a hard read, the manga leaves you with unanswered questions to yourself.
There is an OVA series but it is weird due to it not making any sense at all, there is no story to the OVA. It feels more like a trailer to the manga. rofl Though later on I understood the purpose of the OVA two words: salvaged discs.
