Pentagrams are not demonic. Anyone who thinks they are is either uninformed or oblivious. They are a pagan symbol of the sacred feminine (thats right, Dan Brown aint as full of crap as Catholics believe)

They are a pagan symbol of the sacred feminine (thats right, Dan Brown aint as full of crap as Catholics believe) We don't know if it was a pentagram; the original poster just said "demonic symbol." Admittedly, it's one of the more common symbols deemed "demonic," as is the hexagram. You're right in that it's a distinctly feminine symbol, too; it was probably first found when ancient astronomers were charting the movements of the planet Venus. It can, however, be used in some occult practices (such as Thelema) and has been a magical symbol since ancient times. Thus, recognizing the pentagram as demonic is just about as valid as calling it "holy" as the 5 wounds of Christ or the triumph of spirit over matter. In the end, it really depends on how it's used. 3nodding

Right, it was never suggested that the symbol was a pentagram, if I recall. All that's known is that the symbol was "demonic." Honestly, though I don't know at all about all of the symbols that exist in demonology, the common pentagram is the last thing I would have called to mind.

From what I've researched and found about so called demonic symbols, summoning circles and spells the pentagram IS used a lot. BUT this is NOT because it is evil. The pentagram is one of the most powerful symbols used in spells, the five points are fire, water, air, earth and the spirit. Because it is so powerful it is used in almost all spells good, evil and grey.
Also I found a lot of spells look a like so I'm not really sure how you could look at one and say 'yes that demonic' or 'yes that is a spell for protection'. I guess if there's blood it's a fair guess it's bad. ^^

Oh my.
When I read the title of this thread, I thought of my sister eating five chesse sandwhichs in half an hour and sipping pickle juice out of a pickle with no insides. I had no idea that you meant this kind of creepy, but I must say that this is VERY creepy indeed.
No doubt she has issues. Demonic possesion, I wouldn't say too much about that yet since I don't know her at all. The furtherst I would go at this moment would be that she has maybe witnessed something that is very tragic or terrible in her eyes. Pentagrams and signals could be picked up from simply watching it on television or in a movie.
If however, she is possesed, I would simply call a priest or someone certified to perform an exorcism on her and quick. But to test first, I would gather a vial of Holy Water and simply dash a few sprinkles on her in her sleep. If she wakes up, vomits green and twists her head 360 degrees, there's a problem.

Lolz, I doubt that too.
But... honestly, I don't know why, but I'm practically the only one here who doesn't find her to be so creepy. Ah, well, I'm a bit strange myself so perhaps that's why, lolz.

Mabey the kid needs to go to a psycologyst. That could be it, she might be angry or jelous and is behaving in a way to express this and get attention.
If there is a paranormal going on with the child you friend shoud go to his parents. It's no necsarily the child's fault. Children's spirits are attractive to spitris since they have lots of energy, yet children are naiive and it would be easier for a spirit to harm them. If the parent's know they can do something because most parents would do anything for their child.

If they were going to, they already would have at this point. Again, I'm not sure how much a shrink would help, here. If it's the paranormal, going to a scientist, no matter how experienced, is a pointless affair that may even make things worse.

`Skitty the girl is possibly being possesed and i think you should put a crusifix to her heart to try to save her okay, dont put a crucifix to her heart to try and save her or pour holy water on her. Because, if she is possibly possessed, she could have a violent reaction with the demon being in her and the demon could harm her (or you). If she is possessed, you have to go to a catholic priest that specializes in the practice of ancient roman rituals. A demon could and would cause her harm. It is possible that it could get worse if you are not careful. however, the problem may just be psyhcological and in that case, she would need immediate psyhcotherapy depending on the level of danger her case has. First of all, the room should have been cleansed and the symbol removed. the most common demonic symbols that I know of are the upside down cross and a circle (o) with a v intertwined with it. The parents should have known better. They have literally put their nine year old daughter in a possible case of demonic possession. tell your friend to be cautious around her. and, if it gets worse, you will have to get immediate help. because she is either possessed or mentally ill and could possibly harm herself and others around her. tell him to alert his mother about what may be going on. A mother is more likely to protect her child that second doubt the possible dangers first.

I think that the girl has been possessed by a demon. I've tapped into a bit of demonology myself, and that is purely easy to see, that she might need an exorcism.

Eric Wolfborn IrishHavanaWhitewolf I honestly think there is something seriously seriously wrong with the little girl. I would say demonic possession. Though I don't honestly know. The demonic thing on the wall should have been removed not painted over. Her parents should never have allowed the catching animals thing. That isn't creative. Can you tell me what the demonic symbol looked like? Though I place my money on demonic possession. She is also showing signs of Anti-social behavior. I have to be honest when I was younger I would "punish" my dolls and what not though I would never hang them and I don't think I was creepy or anything of that nature. I do believe that children are much more sensitive then older people. I'm not to sure why though. Authenticated cases of demonic posession are so few and far between, I wouldn't even approach that conclusion with a 20-foot pole. It sounds to me like the girl has a chemical imbalance. It doesn't help that she's being prodded by Fundie-christian types. Either she's revolting subconsciously against a faith that doesn't sit well with her or she has a mental condition. The effigy on the wall WAS destroyed. Painting over it effectivly nullifies it. All you'd need to do is add an extra line to the symbol for it to be innacurate and innefective. Bottom line? Demon = no. Painting over it doesnt destroy it. i lived in a house where satanist practiced...i painted over every symbol..got rid of every article pertaining to satanism or devil worship and i STILL had activity going on in my house! I got scratched and bitten. it attempted to possess me at one point..but i kept holy water by my bed..so i just threw that all over my arms and legs and other places i could get it...and it went away. she needs to have the house blessed and splash that lil girl with holy water! mind you im not catholic..but ill do anything to keep from going through that s**t again...
