Posting time has been increased by at least double the original amount.

Gambino is asking for donations for his new mansion.

Housing has come out, and it costs some dough. (( gonk ))

Polls, posts, and lurking have begun to turn up less gold.

The Marketplace is on the fritz like never before.

Is it only a coincidence that ALL of these things involve losing or never earning money?
Yeah, and I'm wearing boxers today.

...

Well, I am. Or was. Sorta. THAT'S NOT THE POINT! scream

Are the admins conspiring to relieve some of the economic pressure of inflation by having us dump our gold? Are these "errors" and "database problems" really just problems?
Or maybe the bigger question is, is this a bad thing? Opinions please!!

PA + Boxers = hawtness....

And now that I got my main point out of the way.... ninja

I honestly doubt this will stop the inflation. If anything, it will make it worse because those greedy people will be like, 'wah, I am not getting as much gold as I used to! I want more gold! I know, I'll charge a lot for my items! yay!' and stuff... But I could be wrong! eek

And in other news, I hate the new gambino house. That tower is just GAWDY!

Posting has gone back to normal now. :3

And Gambino's donation thinger hasn't caused much of a depression yet, if any. But maybe they are... those sneaky admins. ninja

I think we can agree on the uglyness of the Gambino-plaza.

And P.A. is sad because her boxers didn't get in the wash last night and she had none to wear so now she wears pantities. crying

People are trying to compete with that whole "I donated $$$ to Gambino!" thing. Unfortunately, it's over. What could he be doing in there?...

As for everything else, it's gone back to normal. (except for housing, of course. It's still addictive and expensive. gonk ) Oh, and while we can buy things at the market again, the price searching malfunction has actually helped poke inflation in its evil eye.

People don't feel like scrolling through a hundred pages to look for a cheap letter or something, so they just take the lowest price they can see and either buy it outright or haggle for it on the Exchange.

The first is the bad option, as things just don't get sold. The second option opens a new door as it forces people to sell for lower if they want to get rid of their stuff. That's not that great for the sellers, but hey, in the long run it'll be good, ne?

I haven't been around a lot lately, but it seems most of the things that result in less gold have been temporary. But despite that, there might still be conspiracy afoot. ninja *looks at her own feet in an attempt to find the conpiracy* eek

Also, a lot of the "noobish" problems lately can be attributed to the undeniable fact that the larger a group of people becomes, the more morons infiltrate its ranks. xd And we all know that Gaia grows larger by the day, and I'm sure most of you have noticed the all-around deterioration of places like the Q&A...although that sort of thing can't be helped. sweatdrop

As for that Gambino monstrosity...it's horribly out of place, but I admit I'm curious as to what will happen next. whee

*eyes the rest of her post* Well, now that I've wasted all of time. XD Ohhh well! Reading material is <3! *scampers away*

You think the Q&A is bad? You ought to see the Gaming Forum! It makes the Chatterbox look like it is filled with intelligence! ~___________~

But the Chatterbox IS filled with intelligence!
>_>

Anywho, now that the slots are open, people are seriously dumping their gold into these machines. The best part is, you can only cash the tickets in for the items at the Prize&Joy. The only way to make money off of this is to sell tickets (which is normally a ripoff for the buyers anyway) or to sell the items one won. And that's easy enough. I only spent 200g so far in tokens and I won over twice that much already. Fans, here I come!

Spam cans are also filled with spam...

But it seems the casino is doing the opposite as I expected.

If Gambino wants donations, he can take it out of that god-forsaken 2% tax that gets charged on all Marketplace sells. Bunch of @$$holes...

Anyway, I never really paid much attention to gold. To me, Gaia is a networking site, not a site to get tons of gold. Even if you get tons of gold, who cares? Gaia gold can't be converted to RL(real-life) cash! We should focus on the people in Gaia, not the pursuit of gold.(Whoa, that was kinda deep...)
