"Mine too!" she said in an excited, cheery tone, like she always talked. She watched Liu Bei walk away while waving exuberantly and inevitably got bored within three seconds. This wouldn't do, boredom was taking her over, and she couldn't get over it. What could she do to pass the time? Gah, she sat in thought, maybe her imagination would eventually inform her of what to do to keep sane. She sat twiddling her thumbs and humming, something to at least pass the time for a little while. What else was there to do?

Liu Bei's eyes remained level as he listened to the foreigner's tale. When he heard about what Cai had done for this man, his eyes widened for a moment before taking back to their original size. It sounded like something that she would do. But what captured his attention the most was how Miyamoto Musashi described the way that his niece had won the battle. It sounded... incredible! He glanced over at his brother to capture his expression before looking back at the man before him. Despite the fact that Miyamoto did not know of the current situation that was at hand, it sounded as if Xia Pi was safe and in good hands. The doubt that he had had before about sending Xing Cai was quickly brushed away. It also sounded as if more foreigners, much like this man, had joined the fight against their enemy, who, according to Miyamoto, name was Date.
"I thank you deeply for this information." A smile appeared on Bei's face as he spoke, sitting up in his throne. "From what I have heard, I am certain that my people and city are safe... even if there was more trouble, I now know that no matter what, my people could have repelled them. We have strong hearts here in Shu, and I can only be humbled and honored to be able to see so many of them turn to me in look of a leader." He paused, taking a moment to recollect himself before starting again. "Miyamoto Musashi... you seem to me to be an honorable man. I know that my niece Xing Cai carries a great warmth in her heart. If she felt that you were a man that she could share hospitality to then I must follow in suit. My kingdom, Shu, is home to many people who simply seek for refuge and peace. Not only people of China, but to anyone that is in need. Please stay, if only tonight, in thanks for your aid during battle. And tell other foreigners that we are waiting for them to come. Shu's gates are always open to those who are willing to enter in peace."

Zhang Fei was dumbfounded. Not only could he hardly understand what the man said due to his thick accent, but he thought that he heard that Xing Cai defeated a DRAGON? A massive grin grew on his face and he said, "That's my baby girl! Just like her old man! Hahahaha! I'll have to treat her to some wine when she gets back. Oh wait until Bao hears about this!" He suddenly lost all sense of danger with the fact that Lu Bu was in the room just due to the idea of his daughter doing so well on the battlefield.
Musashi smiled and lowered his eyes from Liu Bei, almost ignoring the man who obviously was Lady Cai's father. Bei was a respectable man. It didn't matter that he had just met Liu Bei, he knew just from talking to him once that he was worthy of greatness. "Thank you Liu Bei. I will take you up on the offer to spend some time here, but I don't think I'll be staying too long. Don't get me wrong, I would love to stop and stay here for a while, but my swords cannot stay stagnant for too long. I would also like to get around and see what other kinds of people live in these lands. You wouldn't happen to have a map I can use to get around, would you? For a map I would gladly stay and fight in the next battle that Shu takes part in."

"A map?" Bei repeated, nodding to himself after a few moments of contemplation. It was hard to concentrate with his brother practically having his own personal party right beside him. Liu Bei was proud himself, of course. He couldn't possibly imagine how much joy Fei was experiencing at the moment.
"I understand. Every man follows his own path." The ruler responded with a sincere smile before he called for one of the soldiers. He gave the soldier a few words and then sent him off to find a map. "I am grateful that a warrior such as yourself will be with Shu, if only for a small amount of time.
"And, perhaps..." Bei turned to look over at his brother, who was saying something about giving Xing Cai wine when she returned. "Brother, I believe that it's time to bring some of our forces back." While he believed the words that he had just heard, he also wanted to hear them from Yu himself as well. Considering how hard the battle must be his brother had to have some kind of input to give. He also wanted to know how well their new recruitment in the army was doing. A wild man that Gan Ning was. He would definitely lively up their soldiers. "I wonder what kind of stories Yu has for us, brother?"
The soldier he'd sent out came back in and handed Bei the map with a bow. Bei accepted it and then held it out to Musashi to take. "Here is the map that you requested. I pray that it will be of some use to you." Liu Bei moved his head and looked over at one of the nearby servants. "You there! I want the additional forces and officers that were sent to Xia Pi to return here. They have worked hard and deserve rest."
