Rainier, Squire of Mercury Action Continuing to clean. Waiting for the last few people to leave to speak with Almadal about the item she picked up. (Last post for this thread)
A bit startled by the sound of someone responding to her question, Rainier looked up and over her shoulder at
Almadal whom she didn’t realize had made his way over to the area she was cleaning.
“Hmm?” her face pinched in a confused expression as she took a moment to process what he’d asked.
“Technology on its own is fairly broad. But as it relates to my professions or hobbies, yes.” Power tools, basic vehicle maintenance, home appliances, and ‘smart’ items were included.
“Something of another world or time I have no experience. However, my ancestor might have a way of guiding me.”“I know you’re busy now,” Rainier’s gaze left him to roam about the room. She winced before amending the statement,
“Perhaps for a while.” “But I’d be willing to wait until everyone else leaves to discuss this further.” She suggested.
“Or I could return at a later date,” Rainier was added as a secondary option as her attention fell to the card he had given everyone who had answered his request for help..
“For now, just so nobody else thinks it’s trash and tries to toss it in a junk pile, I hope it is ok if I hold onto it in my subspace pocket.” The pocket was opened as she spoke and the artifact was carefully placed inside.
“If you don’t have time today, I’ll return this before I leave.” She assured him that she was no thief.
But if this was an item to be bargained for, she wanted the chance.
