--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's been a long morning. The castle staff of the kingdom of Bormiel was sprinting and running around. Everyone seemed frantic. Almost panicked to the point of hysterical fear. "I WANT THEIR HEADS!!" A strong yet elegant woman's voice rang throughout the castle halls. Knights and guards rushing around. The sound of high heels clicking against elegant marbled and stoned fools echoed with a strong viciousness. The elegant doors that lead to the throne room was thrown open by two guards as the queen herself was storming out. Standing in the middle of the hallway looking at all of her running and frantic workers, knights and councilman. "You let a pathetic, disgusting and weak band of pirates make off with our kingdoms shipments?! I want those pirates found and brought back to me ALIVE! GO GET OUR SHIPMENTS BACK!" The queen roared. Her voice soared and echoed as if she was a lioness leading a pack of lions on the hunt. Her eyes shining bright with a red glow. Her magic started to flare up with her rising temper and anger. Wait, didn't she assign one of her sons to work with their navy to ensure the safety of this shipment? Then with a sharp turn and stomping of her heeled shoe, everyone froze looking to her. My sons, where are my sons? Bring them to me. AT ONCE!!!!" The queen shouted one last time. With that last roar of hers she made her way back to her throne room. The two door guards scrambling to open the door for me. "NOW!" Her voice rang out one last time.
As she entered her throne room, everyone was scrambling to find the sons of the queen. For if they didn't surely they would've been executed by her own hands right then and there. This shipment held ancient Bormiel kingdom artifacts, scriptures, tomes and texts. The queen swayed in her elegance to her throne. Her two pet lionesses looking up at her and giving small growls to the mood they saw she was in. As her hips swayed, the throne room guards tightened up. Spears, swords and shields in hand as they kept their eyes forward. None dared to look the queen in the eye during this frustrating time. The queen turned and sat on her throne. Crossing one leg over the other, taking a deep and heavy relaxing breath that lead to a sigh. Her glowing red eyes dimmed back to her normal and strong brown eyes. Watching the now closed throne room doors. Waiting for her sons to show up. For she had questions and they will be answered. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Outfit I'm Wearing: Allegiance: Bormiel Mood/Health: Healthy/ Anxious Thoughts: Where are my sons? Idris could hear his mother yelling from the gardens. By the look of the staff running around it wasn't good. Apparently some pirates stole some artifacts and someone was going to pay with their heads probably. Before they even scrambled to get him, he was having a good ole time playing with his knives, doing some accuracy practise. He even wondered himself where his brothers were and who would get their first to calm down their mother. Perhaps, him and not sure about Connie. When a staff member ran toward him, he nodded, putting his knives away and making his way toward the throne room. He then opened the doors and smiled lightly at his mother, moving to be in front of her. "You called for me, Mother?" He asked, putting his hands behind his back. "Are my brothers joining?"
As strange as it was, Constantine only ever felt a day had a degree of normalcy when he heard the dulcet tones of his mother screeching. He raised a hand to dismiss the servant who rushed into his study. The deviants in the kingdom of Ishgar must have heard her cries. Standing, he checked his reflection once more, adjusting his clothes once more before walking out of his room. He walked at a very even pace, feeling very little need to rush. After all, if she was that desperate for him, she would send someone else. He peeked into another mirror on his way, smoothing back a piece of his hair that had fallen out of place. No use appearing before the Bloody Queen with a messy appearance. A young girl no older than sixteen scurried past him, his gaze following her for a brief moment before looking forward once again. She was pretty, he guessed. Not really his type, but he had a reputation to protect. He'd call for her sooner or later.
The doors to the throne room opened before him and he walked inside. "Mother, Idris. Good afternoon." He greeted them before walking and moving to stand beside his brother, albeit just a little closer to their mother. "Mother, as much as I love to hear your voice filling every nook and cranny of this palace, I must question your intentions by summoning us all here in such a manner." He disregarded the stares by the courtiers, decidedly less afraid of the queen than they were. She would only kill his playthings if he misbehaved, and they were all used up anyway.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As the queen waited for his sons to show up, she was handed a glass of wine. But the wine seemingly had a thicker texture. A more darkened red coloring to it as well. The queen accepted the sweetened alcohol into his lips as the door opened. First her third son Idris walked in. Greeting her in his normal sweet and polite manner. As she swallowed the contents from the cup she lowered her glass. Just as she was going to address Idris, her eldest son Nasim finally walked in as well. "There is much to be questioned, Nasim" The queen said in a cold and harsh tone to in her voice. Causing her two pet lionesses that sat by her side to snarl at Nasim. She held her wine glass out and a butler rushed over. Quickly grabbing the glass from her hand and rushing off. The queen could only stare at her two sons who were present. Our archaeologists discovered another vault of the Bormiel ancients. Loaded up another ship to bring back here. Sadly that ship was raided and destroyed by a bunch of pirates" The queen said as her voice got darker and darker. Uncrossing her leg and standing up, she slowly descended down the steps. Walking forward towards her sons as she stepped off the last step. "I sent the rest of your brothers off to different regions of our kingdom. To make sure all is working and being held to the standard as they should be. Thus leaving you two here with me" The queen said as she then circled around her two sons. The sound of her heels clicking against the floor echoing loudly. Her elegant red dress sweeping across the floor. "And to my memory, I tasked one of you two, to work with our navy to ensure those artifacts were to reach us safe and sound" The queen said stopping just in front of them. Her eyes were glowing with rage and mage.
The queen turned around and walked back up the steps to her and her sons only throne. Turning and sitting back down on the throne, her two lionessess sat up. The three of them being the pure visuals of feminine grace and power. Clear she was trying to control her temper and not lash out at her two sons. But those artifacts were important. "Need I remind the two of you just how important those artifacts are? What information and power they hold? Things that only we royals DESERVE!" The queen ended up shouting in her fit of rage. Giving a heavy sigh and using her hand to push back the hair that fell out of place. Her fingers gliding through her long and lustrous black hair. "So, which one of you couldn't even do the simplest thing I asked you to do? Hm? Cause now, a bunch of heathens have made off with our birthrites!" The queen shouted one last time as she glared down her two sons. The throne room guards would tense up or flinch everytime the queen would have an outburst. Clearing their throats and keeping to their positions in fear they would face their Queen's wrath. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Outfit I'm Wearing: Dress Allegiance: Bormiel Mood/Health: Healthy/ Furious Thoughts: Company: Two lionesses, Nasim and Idris, Throne guards

Before the queen could talk, his older brother, Constantine came in. He nodded at his brother and raised an eyebrow at the fact that he stepped just one foot farther. He stayed where he was as the staff was scurrying again and rolled his eyes just lightly. Idris remained calm as his mother was telling them about the importance of the stolen artifacts and how she knows she sent one of them to guard it. It could have been him, but he didn't remember it. He thought that his brothers would remind him if so, but that would strengthen his claim to the throne. Then again, Constantine would get it first unless something tragic happened to both him and the second boy. He cleared his throat and smiled at her. "Mother, you do look elegant. A definite vessel of feminine grace and power. The seamstresses knew what to make and you are just making it look even better." He wanted her to calm before speaking. Complimenting was one of the things he knew. "I'm sure you did ask one of us. I don't recall myself being placed on that duty, but we will get them back."
Ah, well that explained all the silence. He had expected to have had an arm around one of his by now, most likely belonging to Tristan, and wasn't entirely pleased that the absence of his other brothers was explained by them being far from the castle. He clasped his hands behind his back as she neared them and circled the two like a predator getting ready to strike. He couldn't deny that there had been a time in his life when he'd been absolutely terrified of this moment, but today he was simply too tired and too annoyed to deal with her outbursts. She was just upset because her little toy was off playing pirate again. Her mood would considerably lift when the Wh-re of the Seas returned. She stood before them and accused them of losing their shipment of priceless artifacts. Ah, now that was probably on him. The sons were all tasked with particular duties that they needed to fulfill, each one just as important as the last. Well, that wasn't true. Tristan always seemed to get the easiest tasks but to be fair, that was probably for the best. He messed up just carrying bouquets from one room to the next. Constantine bit back a sigh as his mother turned her back on them to return to her throne, then turned back once more to shriek at them. Home, sweet home. It was moments like these that he desperately wished to return to one of the other kingdoms on a peace-keeping mission. At least the barbarians in Ishgar kept their rage limited to public bloodshed.
He opened his mouth to prepare to speak, only to find Idris speaking up instead. Tch, what a brown-noser. "Kissa-s," he muttered to his brother, then refocused his attention on his mother and set to work on what he did best. "Mother, I was tasked with speaking to the navy, which I did. I supplied them with weapons from my personal arsenal and ordered three extra ships to spread out the artifacts in case of this exact situation." He gestured to a valet nearby, who nodded and quickly left the room. "I also sent out false information through my informants to weasel out any possible moles. We caught three. They will be executed later today." The valet scurried back in, carrying with him a scroll of paper that he handed to the prince, who then unrolled it and read it, then looked up to his mother. "It has now been brought to my attention that there is a fourth mole amongst the officers who has been paid off by the pirates frequently up until now. He will be beheaded as well. If you will give me permission, I will contact Captain Kouris immediately and enquire as to the possibility of ships in her armada tracking down the stolen artifacts. With her cooperation and our navy, we will be able to recover our birthright in a matter of days." Now, this was all guesswork, but Constantine was a man of his word. If he said he would get the artifacts, he would get the d-mn artifacts.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The queen watched her sons from sitting on her throne. Curious in which of her currently presents sons would be the first to speak. Idris was the first to step up and speak. Her eyes quickly flashing with more anger and rage. But per usual, Idris lead with a smoothed and suave compliment. The queen raised a brow as her anger slowly lessened. She was no longer scowling, she was still rather furious but there was a notable difference in her attitude. Giving a heavy sigh as he switched which leg was crossed over one another. Just as she was about to speak, Nasim her eldest son decided to finally speak up. Giving his side of the story and receiving a letter from one of the castle servants. The queen sat silent as she allowed Nasim to continue on without interrupting him. Hmmmm, I see" The queen would only manage to say in this moment. Her eyes staring down her two sons intensely. There was another few moments of silence as she sat on her throne and watched her two sons. "I'm disappointed in the both of you. Normally when I say I want something done; the two of you do it as quick as I could have the butlers pour me a glass of wine" The queen said shaking her head a bit. Rolling her eyes she sighed and tapped her finger on the arm rest of the throne.
"The next time I task either of you with something, I expect it to be done. Properly, do I make myself clear?" The queen slightly growled to her sons. Standing up from her throne and slowly descending down the steps. Her hand shooing away the two throne attendants who rushed to help her down the steps. The queen stopped by her sons. Gently caressing their cheeks as she slowly smiled to them. "I know the tasks I give you may seem boring or uninteresting. But these kind of tasks prepare either of you for when of you takes the throne. I need you to understand that, my blood angels" The queen smiled sweetly to the both of them. As she kept one hand on Idris' cheek her other hand moved away from Nasim's cheek. The queen's eyes turned serious and stern as she continued to look to Nasim. "No, Nasim. Leave Captain Kouris to their tedious daily duties. I will have someone who truly understands the importance of this handle it" The queen said sharply to Nasim. The queen smiled as she looked back to Idris and kissed his cheek. The queen looped her arm around Idris' own arm. Giving him a loving and warm hug, showing she had already forgave him. "Nasim, you and Akantha will be the ones to retrieve the artifacts. Your pathetic informants are not quick enough. I already have a ship and supplies waiting" The queen said as she kept her eyes back on Idris. She adjusted the prince's tie and dusted off his jacket. Clearly seeing he was practicing his accuracy and knife throwing. "You have some time till she returns. So I suggest you have your fill of your whores and rest up. You have long journey at sea, I'm also sure Akantha will help you realize the errors of you mistake. Mistakes my first born shouldn't be making at his current age" The queen sharply said with a smile as she finished dusting off Idris' jacket. Tapping his chest sweetly letting Idris know all was well with him. The queens cold gaze turned back to Nasim. "Why are you still standing there? I believe we're finished here. Dismissed" The queen said looking Nasim up and down before turning away from him. "Idris, how are you feeling? Have you eaten? Join mommy for some tea in my garden, no?" She smiled to Idris. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Outfit I'm Wearing: Dress Allegiance: Bormiel Mood/Health: Healthy/ Furious Thoughts: Company: Two lionesses, Nasim and Idris, Throne guards

Idris looked down and smirked at the name Constantine called him. Holding back a laugh, he looked back up at his mother, listening to his brother as well. he actually did something and came up with a plan. He knew it was Constantine's personality to keep up with things when not having any bed warmers. He watched his mother's expressions, seeing her anger lessen, but she still seemed irritated. Artifacts were stolen that was understandable. Idris showed he was at attention when Maryam was talking, nodding to let her know he understood. "Of course, Mother." Constantine would be out to sea with Akanthe. Wow. "I'm fine, Mother. I had some bread and wine and tea sounds lovely."
Maria had only been there a few days now, the ball having passed so quickly made her miss home. But she couldn't return. Not yet at least. She had just gotten here after all. She needed to do her job here as a Lady of the Court. She had gotten dressed and ready for the day and made her way down to the throne room, looking around as she entered into an intense conversation between the Queen and her sons. She looked around at the group of men. Most of them treated her as family, a cousin or sister. She was alright with that. She drew in a breath and stood straight, to the side of the room as she waited for the Queen and Princes to finish their conversation before making herself known. She held her gaze, turning it down to her feet as she waited and wondered what she had walked in to.
Days had past, two weeks to be exact since Maria got there. And so far, it seemed as though the days were moving slower than slow. The young Lady walked through the halls of the castle and soon found herself in a garden. She smiled as she walked through the plants, running her hands along a few of the flowers. It was a beautiful gardened, neatly trimmed and maintained by the castle servants. On rare occasions, she had seen guards out there tending to it.
As she walked through the garden, she found a couple flowers. Plucking them, she arranged them in a beautiful display as a gift to her Queen. She went back into the castle in search of the Queen, wondering where she was at that moment in the day. Throne room was empty as there wasn't peasant business to attend to today. Dining room was empty as it was not time for a meal. The last place she checked was the study and as the door was shut and a voice could be heard from inside, Maria figured her suspicions were correct and her Queen and the Crown Prince were on the other side. She was hesitant to knock but moved to do so, smiling softly as she did.
