Bio:
Viola comes from old money. Her family has been minor nobility for generations. Always a male in the family. Thankfully, finances were never squandered and often invested in profitable organizations, so the holdings in the Hawthorne estates are in the billions. Granted, she doesn't actually have that much in spending, but were she to sell everything, she'd be among the top 10 richest people in the world.
Lady Hawthorne was born to Callum Hawthorne and his wife, Jennifer Hawthorne at 3:17 on the chilly morning of November the 7th, 1991. Jennifer did not last long after the birth of their child as her health was poorly even before her pregnancy. She steadily grew weaker over the several months post Viola's birth, until one morning she just didn't wake up when Callum went to rouse her. The man was grief stricken, and unable to care for his daughter in light of that, so his twin sister, Elizabeth Hawthorne, moved in to assist with the rearing of the infant.
Despite knowing that Elizabeth was not her mother, Viola always considered her such because she was the closest thing the girl knew to one. Callum eventually came around, his relationship with his daughter taking more priority in his life as she started to grow.
He encouraged the child's keen interest in studies of history and philosophy. Later in life he would also encourage her curiosity for the paranormal. True, she was only curious so she could disprove it, but her knowledge of the world around her increased.
Being a traditional family, Viola had all the pain, and excitement, of a coming of age party when she turned 16. She'd never taken an interest in her peers as she felt they were either too dull, or often spoke down to her like she did not possess the intelligence to understand the conversation.
Over the years, her father taught her how to spot good trade investments and reminded her that being charitable to the less fortunate was always the better course of action. By the age of 21, with the help of her family's money, she had established a few charitable organizations in England to help victims of circumstance and abuse. By 25 she had become well known for her charities and business investments. Being a quick study also seemed to help in this. True to her ever expanding quest for knowledge, she has learned 3 additional languages (fluent in English, German, Japanese/can get by with Russian).
Things took a turn for the worst 5 months before her 26th birthday. Her father had taken a trip with colleagues and his yacht, but an unexpected coastal hurricane rolled in, capsizing the boat and it's 4 passengers. News of her father's demise tore Viola from reality. The next few months were spent curled up in bed, eating only enough to survive, and not speaking to anyone. When she finally did decide to try and return to normal life, the reminder of all that her father taught her growing up could be seen in everything she had done thus far. So, she opted for a change.
January found her in luck. A beautiful, though run down, manor stood empty outside of an American town. What better way to escape her grief than by moving to one place where she would not be reminded of her father in everything she saw. A fresh start, so to speak. So, she spoke with the realtors and paid for the manor, asked her aunt to see to the businesses and charities in England, but keep her up to date on possible new investments, then packed and left. She is currently renting a hotel room in Kearney while renovations and additions to The Old Plainsview Manor are being made. She is renaming it to Hawthorne Legacy Estate.
Special Ability ]:She has an amazing photographic memory. She can remember in detail anything she sees or reads.
She also has an aptitude for making connections with influential people.
Viola is also extremely charming. She seems to know just what to say to get what she's after.
Personality: Can be sweet and generous. She is definitely very intense and passionate. However, she can also carry a grudge until she dies and then some. Has an uncanny knack of reading people and seeing right through bullshit which she will not hesitate to cut through with her sharp tongue. Not to be crossed. She may be human, but betrayal does not sit well with her. She will get her revenge. You won't see it coming. She will either ruin you (in reputation or financially) or even go to the extents of calling in a hit man.
