**NOTES**

- Prices:
All prices are considered to be in USD (United States Dollars) due to the fact that, well the shop is in America.

- Weight Class:
Everything has mass. The heavier the material used in the weapon, the heavier the weapon will be. Iron and Steel are considered "Base Weight" and would incur no form of difficulty to using.
Lower weights would be easier to use, but also easier to misjudge the feel of the weapon, which can lead to more force than needed being applied. This can lead to weapons breaking easier, so be careful.
Higher weights would obviously be more difficult to use but generally come from a much tougher and more durable material as well has having more impact and punch to them. The weight classes are as follows:
Base Weight 0 Weight Rating, the standard.
Weightless -3 Weight Rating from Base Weight (0.05x base weight)
Featherweight -2 Weight Rating from Base Weight (0.25x base weight)
Lightweight -1 Weight Rating from Base Weight (0.5x base weight)
Welterweight +1 Weight Rating from Base Weight (1.5x base weight)
Heavyweight +2 Weight Rating from Base Weight (3x base weight)
Heavyweight Champion +4 Weight Rating from Base Weight (6x base weight)

- Durability Rating:
Everything eventually breaks from over use, especially weapons. This rating determines how tough the material is. The lower the rank, the less it will likely last. Higher ranked materials usually cost more.
E - Not Durable, easiest material to break by accident.
D - Slightly Durable, its tougher than some stuff, but still pretty easy to break if you aren't careful
C - Moderately Durable, it can take a beating and still be good. Watch out for cracks in the weapon.
B - Durable, reliable and tough. Though it can still break its much more difficult than other types of materials.
A - Highly Durable, at this point you'd almost have to be trying to break it. Its not going to be easy but its possible
S - Extremely Durable, basically indestructible.

- Special Properties
Each material has something special about it. Unique traits listed below

Hunter - The weapon is more effective against creatures not of natural origin
Weapon Specialty - This type of material is usually best suited for a type of weapon. If its used to create that type of weapon, the weapon would gain an additional ability slot.
Core Specialty - This material gains bonuses when being used for certain attribute based abilities. Each unique attribute ability will cost half as many slots as normal with this type of material. These will be listed in the individual weapons.

- Attributes
All materials have an elemental type attribute to them, that allows them to work with different unique “cores” created by Tanken. These “cores” are small containers with certain aspects to them, usually placed in the hilt. Certain materials work better with different cores. These are optional additions that are highly expensive. These are extremely difficult to create and maintain, and thus he charges for the work.

- Attribute Cores
Nature - specializes in poison and infections - $2,500
Nature core is a small mechanical casing placed in the hilt just below the blade. Its rigged to a small button hidden in the pommel that, when pushed, sends a rush of certain poisons or venom along the blade to further the lethality of the weapon

Ice - Specializes in cold and freezing - $2,000
This core is a specialized insulated vial that is hidden in the pommel. Its rigged to a button on the cross guard that when pushed shatters the vial letting liquid nitrogen course down the blade, soaking it and allowing for ice cold strikes. These vials need to be replaced after each trigger

Fire - Specializes in heat and burning- $2,000
Similar to the Ice Core, except the vial houses gasoline or another highly flammable but not explosive liquid that soaks the blade which can be lit by a spark either from a button push on the opposite side of the cross guard or by a clash of steel meeting steel

Lightning - Specializes in shocks and paralysis - $5,000 (Gold isn't cheap!)
Golden wire is lined along the weapon, the trigger is a switch on the pommel that sends a signal to the core. The core is a fair sized battery that when signaled sends an electrical charge along the gold wiring, making each strike like a tazer shot.

Shadow - Specializes in hiding and ambushing - $1,500
There is no external material used for this "Core" the blade is darkened, blackened to make it more difficult to spot when someone isn't looking for it, or if its not placed against a white background

Light - Specializes in blinding and illusions- $1,500
Like Shadow, this is no external material used in this core. Rather the blade is polished to a bright sheen, allowing it to catch light when striking

- Rarity Levels: how readily available the material is in stock

-_-_-_-_-Obsidian Gatherable
-_-_-Obsidian is a naturally occurring volcanic glass formed as an extrusive igneous rock. It is produced when felsic lava extruded from a volcano cools rapidly with minimum crystal growth. Obsidian is commonly found within the margins of rhyolitic lava flows known as obsidian flows, where the chemical composition (high silica content) induces a high viscosity and polymerization degree of the lava. The inhibition of atomic diffusion through this highly viscous and polymerized lava explains the lack of crystal growth. Obsidian is hard and brittle; it therefore fractures with very sharp edges, which were used in the past in cutting and piercing tools, and has been used experimentally as surgical scalpel blades.

xxxxxxxxxxxSpecial Properties: Featherweight, Hunter, Durable, Lightning and Fire Attribute
xxxxxxxxxxxBase Selling Cost: $75,000

-_-_-_-_-Gem Steel Non-Gatherable

Weapon List

__✦ The heavier the weapon, the more difficult it would be to use

__✦ Weights are as follows *All weights assume base using Steel*

* Weightless - Less than 10 ounces of weight. These are traditionally daggers or Tools.

* Light - Light weapons weigh between 2 to 5 lbs. These are things like swords or small maces.

* Medium - Medium weapons weight between 6 to 10 lbs. These are things like your average axe of mace.

* Heavy - Heavy Weapons are any weapons with a weight of over 10 lbs. These are things like large two handed weapons or weapons made of a heavier material.

__✦ Pricing - Often times the heavier the weapon is the more expensive it will be to make. This is not only because there is more material needed, but much more work needed to make the weapon in itself. While not always the case for all smiths, it is generally accepted that the heavier the weapon is, the more it will cost.

Weapon List:

__Swords

The Sword, classical, traditional and deadly it can have many shapes and sizes but one thing is always clear about them: The pointy end goes in the other guy.

One-handed Weapons
Rapiers - Light Class - $180
Light and flexible Rapiers are used for rapid thrusts using the needle like tip to puncture the opponent and turn them into swiss cheese

Short-Swords - Light Class - $90.50
While shorter than normal swords, these weapons are quick and lightweight. Allowing for quick flowing movements in each cut.

Wakizashi - Light Class - $226
A variant of a short sword, Wakizashi are fast and razor sharp blades that are of the highest quality in craftsmanship with strong sturdy blades that are made for slashing the opponent to ribbons.

Scimitar - Light Class - $180
A shorter curved blade weapon made famous by pirates and Drizzt Do'urden, these weapons are used for swift arcing strikes able to tear though people at rapid paces.

Longsword - Light Class - $180
A longer sword than normal, its long rigid blade and sharp point make it the perfect balance between slashing and stabbing.

Katana - Light Class - $270
A classic fantasy sword featuring a razor sharp edge renowned for being able to cut through a person or even multiple people. This is the weapon all true badasses use.

Estoc - Light Class - $226
A long edgeless blade meant with a very pointy tip. This weapon is designed much like a rapier for stabbing and is used to break through the opponent's armor and leave them in their skinnies (underpants) out on the battle field.

Kopis - Light Class - $270
This curving edge blade was designed around the Khopesh from ancient egypt is used to hack through limbs with swift heavy blows.

Saber - Light Class - $180
A curving long blade used by many this weapon is iconic in many ways it was created with inspiration from the Scimitar and does about the same thing, but its bigger and a bit heavier.

Saw Sword - Light Class - $226
Another curving blade, however this weapon has no edge but rather multiple "teeth" along the blade. This weapon does not cut, it does not stab, it rips you apart.

Twin Hooks - Weightless Class - $540
**$270 per sword, these are almost always made in pairs, thus the price**
The Twin Hooks are primarily a slashing weapon, although the dagger ends can be used for stabbing. Another technique shown was to hook the two swords together, with the user swinging one, causing the dagger of the second sword to slash the opponent.

Two-handed Weapons

Greatsword - Medium Class - $450
The bigger and badder older brother to the longsword. This thing is able to cut a man in half with a single stroke and is one of the most symbolic two handed weapons ever.

Zweihänder - Heavy Class - $495
Created in Germany these hulking weapons are made more for defense rather than offense. These swords specialize in locking the opponent's weapons up and disarming them, in some cases quite literally.

Flamberge - Heavy Class - $630
Another defensive style two handed weapon, this two-handed sword featuring an exceptionally long blade and hilt, a wide cross guard, and a ricasso with a pair of parrying hooks. The name "Flamberge" literally means "Flame Blade" because of the design of the blade. I guess you could say its one hot two-handed sword.

Claymore - Medium Class - $360
This traditional two-handed sword originated from Scotland, featuring a wide double edged blade this weapon is perfect for cutting into the enemies.

Nodachi - Heavy Class - $770
Much like the greatsword is to the long sword, the Nodachi is the bigger badder older brother of the Katana. This weapon was designed to take out cavalry on foot. It's big heavy and can beat you senseless without even cutting you.

Zhanmado - Heavy Class - $815
The zhanmadao is a saber with a single long broad blade, and a long handle suitable for two-handed use. It is often used as an anti-cavalry weapon, and is a large devastating weapon. It takes a great deal of strength to use these

Double Blade - Heavy Class - $900
A large metal pole connects two smaller swords together so you have a blade on each end. This is a very heavy weapon and takes considerable skill to use properly, though if used properly it could have untold potential.

__Axes

The Axe, its big, it's heavy and oh crap can this thing do damage. While the Axes often won't have anywhere near the same speed as a sword or the reach of a lance it has the raw power to crush things in the way of often times the razor sharp edge.

One-handed Weapons
Hatchet - Light Class - $135
A small, light axe designed for use in one hand specifically while camping or traveling. This thing might be small, but it can do some real damage when used properly.

Hand-Axe - Light Class - $135
A small axe used for chopping, similar to hatchets, its a smaller weapon. These weapons are useful in a number of ways. Never judge a weapon by its size.

Tomahawk - Light Class - $226
Similar to the hatchet, this weapon was the go-to tool for the native peoples of America and has surged throughout the world ever since. This weapon is has a habit of collecting the scalps of the opponent better than others.

Throwing Axe - Light Class - $90.50
Whats more dangerous than an axe in the hand? Somebody throwing the thing at you. These kinds of axes are designed to be hand-lobbed missile weapons, making them dangerous at close, and long range.

Fire-Axe - Medium Class - $270
Traditionally used by Firefighters in the real world, these tools have been weaponized and turned into powerful heavy hitting things of pain. Who needs to use them for fighting fires when you can just use them for fighting right?

Battle-Axe - Medium Class - $360
The first axe to be used as an actual weapon, these larger heavier weapons were used much like swords, however due to their weight they were more effective against armor. Beating people in many painful ways since the Medieval Era.

Pickaxe - Medium Class - $316
While traditionally used for boring things like mining or breaking rocks, somebody along the lines decided it would be more interesting to break heads with it. Its pointy on both ends and has enough weight behind it to break through stone.

Two-handed Weapons
Great-axe - Heavy Class - $540
Once again, the bigger badder brother of a one-handed weapon, the great axe is often times a hulking double headed battle axe used to crush or slam their opponents.

Poleaxe - Heavy Class - $588
Designed to defeat plate armour. Its axe (or hammer) head is much narrower than other axes, which accounts for its penetrating power.

Parashu - Heavy Class - $815
This weapon could be double edged or bladed or single-bladed with a spike on the non cutting edge. It usually measures between 3 – 5 feet though some are as long as 7 feet. The Parashu is usually made of iron or wootz steel. The cutting edge is broader than the edge which is attached to the haft. The haft is often tied with a leather sheet to provide a good grip. I don't have anything witty for this one.

Double Axe - Heavy Class - $900
Much like the double blade, the Double Axe is two axe heads attached to a long center pole. It takes a great deal of strength and skill to use this kind of weapon but if done so correctly it could be very powerful.

__Pole-arms

The Pole-arm, which is basically a type of Lance, what was probably one of humanity's first weapons since it's really just a big stick with a pointed tip. Pole-arms long reach and is great for keep enemies from getting to close to the person. Pole-arms only have One-handed and Two-handed since they are too large and unwieldy to dual wield.

**While most Pole-arms are Two-Handed there can be One-Handed variants of them, simply by making the pole slightly shorter**

One-handed Weapons
Short Spear - Medium Class - $316
A smaller spear often times used in one hand. This weapon is about half the size of a normal spear however it is quicker and able to inflict just as much damage. Short, sweet and to the point.

Two-handed Weapons
Spear - Medium Class - $405
The Spear, its big long and pointy and it can mess you up. The Spear is a "cult classic" kind of weapon having been an iconic weapon for so many different peoples over the years.

Trident - Medium Class - $540
What's more terrifying than one razor sharp tip stabbing you many times? Three razor sharp and often barbed tips stabbing you many times. The Trident is heavier than the Spear and can be utilized for offense, and defense.

Scythe - Heavy Class - $680
Sure it's impractical most of the time, but it looks bad a**. The Scythe was a common grain farming tool turned into a weapon during a medieval peasant revolt. It's great for keeping opponents at a distance and ha been modified with a razor sharp spike on the end to turn it into a slightly more practical weapon. They could be used, depending on construction and tactics, to make slashing or stabbing attacks, and with their uncommon appearance and considerable strength could have a psychological impact on an unprepared enemy. However, like most pole weapons, their disadvantages were weight (which could quickly exhaust the user) and slow speed.

Halberd - Heavy Class - $630
The halberd consists of an axe blade topped with a spike mounted on a long shaft. It always has a hook or thorn on the back side of the axe blade for grappling mounted combatants. Its like a Poleaxe, but it's totally not a Poleaxe.

Naginata - Heavy Class - $725
A naginata is a Japanese pole-arm that was traditionally used by members of the samurai class. A naginata consists of a wood shaft with a curved blade on the end. Usually it also had a sword-like guard (tsuba) between the blade and shaft. It was mounted with a tang and held in place with a pin or pins, rather than going over the shaft using a socket.

Guan Do - Heavy Class - $770
A guan dao or kwan dao is a type of Chinese pole weapon. In Chinese it is properly called a Yanyue dao (which translates as reclining moon blade) The blade is very deep and curved on its face; this resembles a Chinese Saber or Dao. Supposed to take great physical prowess to wield in combat due to great weight. Variants include having rings along the length of the straight back edge as found in the nine-ring guan dao for use as distractions or entanglements for incoming enemy weapons, having the tip curl into a rounded spiral as in the elephant guan dao, or featuring a more ornate design as exemplified by the dragon head guan dao.

Ranseur - Heavy Class - $630
A ranseur was a type of polearm used across Europe up to the 15th century. Often thought to be a derivation of the earlier spectrum, the head of a ranseur consisted of a spear-tip affixed with a cross hilt at its base. Often this hilt was crescent-shaped, giving it an appearance similar to that of a trident. Generally, the hilts did not have a cutting edge, unlike the double-edged partisan. Thus, Ranseurs resemble a sai mounted on a staff. Ranseurs are generally 6 feet or longer.

__Bows

The Bow & Arrow, as old as the lance this weapon is ideal for long ranged attacks and hit and run type ambush attacks. These weapons have the longest range, but have no up close defense, because really if a dude with a sword is in your face what are you going to do?

**All Bows are Two-Handed Weapons, and all bows come with arrows**
**All bow weights are assuming using Wood as the Base**
**Bows CANNOT be dual wielded. It physically cannot work unless you have 4 or more arms**

Short Bow - Weightless Class - $180
A smaller variety of a normal bow, while it is shorter it is used for good quick hit and run style tactics. I have nothing witty to say about Short Bows at the moment.

Long Bow - Light Class - $360
A bow that is usually quite long, often over 5 feet (1.5 metres) long. The traditional English longbow was usually made of yew wood, but other woods are used also. This thing is basically a sniper rifle, but no gun powder and no scope.

Recurve Bow - Medium Class - $450
A bow with the tips curving away from the archer. The curves straighten out as the bow is drawn and the return of the tip to its curved state after release of the arrow adds extra velocity to the arrow

Composite Bow - Medium Class - $495
Generally a stronger but heavier version of another bow. This type of bow often uses multiple kinds of materials within it to make it stronger.

Crossbow - Heavy Class - $540
A crossbow is a weapon consisting of a bow mounted on a stock that shoots projectiles, often called bolts or quarrels. Crossbows are powerful and can tear through their opponents, however they take much longer to reload than a normal Bow, in that it actually has to reload. The Crossbow can be modified in any number of ways making it versatile and customizable. It is a jack of all trades kind of weapon.

Hand Crossbow - Light Class - $360
**Can be Dual Wielded**
Very similar to the Crossbow, but smaller, more compact. These are often hidden weapons and are light weight, but use smaller bolts and have less punching power than a regular, full sized crossbow.

__Daggers

The Dagger has the shortest range of any attack in exchange for the fasted attack rate. These things might be small but death by a thousand cuts tends to still lead to death.

**All Daggers are classified as Dual Wielding since if they get bigger, they are swords.**
**All Daggers Weightless**

Normal Dagger $45
A dagger is a fighting weapon with a sharp point designed or capable of being used as a thrusting or stabbing weapon. The design dates to human prehistory, and daggers have been used throughout human experience to the modern day in close combat confrontations. A thief's best friend is their trusty dagger.

Kard $180
A kard is a type of Islamic knife found in Turkey, Armenia, Persia, and all the way to India. Mostly used in the 18th century and before, it has a straight single edged blade and is usually no longer than 41 centimetres (16 in) in length. It has no guard, and usually the handle was bone, ivory, or horn. It was mostly a stabbing weapon, and commonly the point would be reinforced to penetrate chainmail. A major characteristic of a kard is that the hilt is only partially covered by the sheath.

Kris $270
The kris or keris is a prized asymmetrical dagger most strongly associated with the culture of Indonesia, but also indigenous to Malaysia, Thailand and Brunei. It is known as kalis in the southern Philippines. The kris is famous for its distinctive wavy blade, but in the past, most had straight blades. Its got a wave like blade pattern, making it the coolest looking Dagger.

Baselard $135
The baselard is a historical type of dagger or short sword of the Late Middle Ages. In modern use by antiquarians, the term baselard is mostly reserved for a type of 14th century dagger with an H-shaped handle which evolved out of the 13th-century knightly dagger. Contemporary usage was less consequent, and the term in Middle French and Middle English could probably be applied to a wider class of large dagger. Its the biggest dagger, but bigger doesn't always mean better.

Siangham $90.50
A siangham (or siangkam) is a type of melee weapon. It is a narrow, cylindrical thrusting weapon, typically about 1.5 feet (46 cm) long. Its appearance is similar to an arrow, but with a handle on the end. While normally used for thrusting attacks, it can be used to slash or parry. An arrow dagger, often used by Archers as a backup weapon

Sai $226
The sai is a traditional martial arts weapon. The basic form of the weapon is that of a pointed, prong shaped metal baton, with two curved prongs called yoku projecting from the handle. It is generally used in pairs. There are many types of sai with varying prongs for trapping and blocking.

Sickle $180
While it's not technically a dagger, its wielded like one, so it counts. A sickle is a hand-held agricultural tool with a variously curved blade typically used for harvesting grain crops or cutting succulent forage chiefly for feeding livestock (either freshly cut or dried as hay). But somebody eventually decided to kill people with it, and thus it is a weapon.

Kama $180
The kama (sometimes referred to as the kai or double kai) is a traditional Filipino and Japanese farming implement similar to a small scythe used for reaping crops and also employed as a weapon. Much like the sickle it's not technically a dagger but I'm counting it like one.

__Hammers

The Hammer, much like the axe this thing is made to dish out heavy blows at a slower pace. They are generally used to do damage where cutting or stabbing won't help. If you can't cut it that well, or stab it to effectively you can always beat it.

**I'm including Maces & Clubs in this section because they all use the "beat you over the head with a heavy blunt object" theme**

One-handed Weapons
Light Hammers - Light Class - $45
Basically the crafting tool, used for beating people. Nothing is more terrifying than a dude with two hammers. These can be used for close combat or even more terrifyingly these can be stockpiled and used as thrown weapons. You know what they say about Hammer Time

Mace - Light Class - $180
A mace is a blunt weapon, a type of club that uses a heavy head on the end of a handle to deliver powerful blows. A mace typically consists of a strong, heavy, wooden or metal shaft, often reinforced with metal, featuring a head made of stone, copper, bronze, iron, or steel. Sometimes seen with a spiked head at the end known as a spiked ball. Don't get hit by these things, it might leave a mark.

Light Club - Light Class - $90.50
One of history's first ever weapons the club is, well a big blunt stick that you use to beat people with. Light Clubs are lighter and faster versions of a mace with no head on it. While it will still leave a mark, the bruise won't be as big.

War Hammer - Medium Class - $360
A war hammer is a late medieval weapon of war intended for close combat action, the design of which resembles the hammer. The war hammer consists of a handle and a head. These are commonly large handled weapons with a heavy hammer head on them and many Smiths use them as their go-to weapon. Thor's Hammer is also a War Hammer.

Small Kanabo - Heavy Class - $450
Kanabo and the other related types of these club-like weapons were constructed out of heavy wood, or made entirely from iron, with iron spikes or studs on one end. One or both ends of the wooden type clubs could be sheathed in iron. These smaller, lighter ones are primarily one-handed and the length of a forearm. The shape could be that of a baseball bat with a thick heavy end tapering towards a slender handle or they could be straight all the way from the handle to the end, with the shaft being round or multi faceted.

Heavy Club - Medium Class - $90.50
One of history's first ever weapons the club is, well a big blunt stick that you use to beat people with. Heavy clubs are made from a bigger stick and weigh more thus being to heavy to dual wield. It makes an even bigger bruise than before.

Two-handed Weapons
Sledgehammer - Heavy Class - $450
A sledgehammer is a tool with a large, flat head attached to a lever (or handle). The head is typically made of metal. The sledgehammer can apply more force than other hammers, due to its large size. Along with the mallet, it shares the ability to distribute force over a wide area. This is in contrast to other types of hammer, which concentrate force in a relatively small area. It's big, heavy and oh damn it can leave a mark, don't drop it on your foot.

Maul - Heavy Class - $450
The maul is a long-handled hammer with a heavy metal head, either of lead or iron. It is similar in appearance and function to a modern sledgehammer but is sometimes shown as having a spear-like spike on the fore-end of the haft. Man, you can really maul a guy with one of those things.

Large Kanabo - Heavy Class - $630
Kanabo type weapons came in all sizes and shapes with the largest ones being as tall as a man and a two-handed weapon. These large ones can inflict massive damage if applied properly due to their sheer size and weight. Many use these as favored shield breakers.

__Unarmed Weapons

A weapon that is not a weapon, literally being apart of your body that you use for attacking, or defending or however you want to do it. You want punch a guy in the face? You want him to really feel it? You put on one of these things and watch the fireworks.

**All Unarmed Weapons are classified as dual wielding weapons because really they are just an add on to the body.**
**All Unarmed Weapons are assumed Weightless**

Gauntlets $90.50
Gauntlet is a name for several different styles of glove, particularly those with an extended cuff covering part of the forearm. Gauntlets exist in many forms, ranging from flexible fabric and leather gloves, to mail and fully articulated plate armour. These can be done in pretty much any way imaginable, so long as it doesn't hurt the person wearing it, it can be done. Spiked Gauntlets usually run spiked studs on the knuckles. Spikes can be added at an extra cost dependent on your local Smith.

Arm Dagger $180
A punch dagger is generally a normal dagger fitted and attached to a material that can then be put onto somebody's arm, wrist or hand. These are like an add on to a gauntlet

Finger Claws $226
Finger Claws are claws added onto the person's fingertips to literally give them Fingernails of Death. These can truly depend on the person for their style, from being sharpened studs, to bladed finger nails there are limitless creative possibilities here.

Blade-Arms $360
Another style of gauntlet that turns the person entire forearm into a weapon. This can be done by attaching a blade to the side of a traditional gauntlet or by turning the gauntlet into an extending bladed edge like an Arm Dagger. With so many choices so long as the person can lift it in one arm, it could probably be made.

Katar $450
The katar or katara is a type of push dagger from India. The weapon is characterized by its H-shaped horizontal hand grip which results in the blade sitting above the user's knuckles.

___A gloved hand ran across the surface of a katana just moments after Makoto slid her way into the shop. She was always fascinated by the blades, their focus on technique over weight. It took one's whole body to wield properly. Sadly she was not here for one of those, and if she was it wouldn't be one off the wall. She did need a small upgrade before she went wandering into Undersiders territory though. For now she perused, pulling her hair back into a hasty bun that left some bangs to frame her face, waiting for someone to grow a backbone and try to sell her something. Rumor was, this was the place to get a more personal variety of weaponry, and while it looked the part the quality of the things scattered about remained to be seen. Crap weapons shops were a dime a dozen, especially with capes running roughshod.

Tanken heard the bell that rang as his doors opened and a customer stepped in. A short young girl was running a gloved hand along one of the display weapons.
He cleared his throat, rather loudly, before speaking. "Glove or no those blades are sharp. I think it would be better if you didn't touch them. They might just be for display but it doesn't make a Katana's edge any less sharp.

Now, what can I help you with?"

___"Thanks." Makoto smiled coyly to herself, taking a moment to consider the warning. She couldn't rightly blame him for his mistake, she was decked out in coveralls and gloves, after all. Wasn't like he knew there was nothing but metal underneath most of them. She did take note of something she wanted, however, as she composed herself once again and turned to approach the proprietor. If he was paying attention he'd see the NBPD logo on the arms of the dark top worn loosely over the baggy, tan work clothes - though something missing from it if he had the head for that sort of deduction. But would he figure out why it was missing?

"I'll take a set of those fingerclaws, the more claw-like the better." She said as she fished a hand into the zipper of the coveralls and produced a pair of knives, leather sheaths and all. "Standard issue Dragon's Teeth KA-BAR." The small woman added lightly as she slid one from its home and offered it to the comparatively giant smith for examination. "They're... well, functional as tools and backup weapons but have a habit of breaking when an overeager fighter applies too much force. That's easy to do with Dragon's tech strapped onto you, so I need something tougher, preferably a knife, not one of your daggers. Nothing fancy for now, but I'll probably be back in the future. What are we looking at in terms of cost?" Sure, Makoto was playing up her connection to Dragon's Teeth a bit... okay, entirely. But hey, this guy didn't know and she still looked the part of a trained soldier on leave; obviously athletic even with the baggy clothing and exceptionally light-footed - though perhaps a bit too cavalier and relaxed. Even had an obvious relation to civy PD, from which Dragon's Teeth pulled their members on a regular basis. All of these little deceptions were made easier by the fact that she wasn't actually lying. Technically Dragon's door was still open if she wanted back in, though that was likely to change soon, and she did have Dragon's tech strapped to her. With the obvious exception that her's had been almost entirely scrapped and rebuilt, and wasn't just for field work and training exercises.
