The day seemed nice enough, but she didn't want to waste any more time. With any luck, Namine would be somewhere here. She didn't want to think about the possibility that the hunter had already taken the child away, so she was trying to be positive. After the sleep she had had, she felt more energetic, so her steps were bouncy, like a child.. Her expression though, was worried. She approached one of the people in the streets, asking that person if they had seen a little girl with a woman. She had described them as best as she could, but the woman she had approached only shook her head. She thanked her, then went to repeat the process with some other strangers.

Her gut feeling told her not to take it, It told her that she'd regret doing so later. She let a small sigh and extended her hand taking the small chain with the ring, "Thanks.." she forced a smile. She looked at it gingerly wanting to try it on. The piece of jewelry was resplendent. It was her first real treasure she'd be given for as long as she could remember. She would definitely cherish it. She was about to put it on when she remembered something from her past. The cold piercing tools that people used to attempt to take the gem away from her. The pain and exhaustion that went through her body as the tools came in contact with it. She would have to attempt to see if this pendant would cause her any discomfort, but not here with these people. She wrapped it around her wrist making it look like a bracelet. She looked up as she heard Namine speak up and go after a woman who did not look like she was from around the area. She seemed harmless, but from what she'd learned Namine had been with a dangerous person, and ran to Chiyoko herself without knowing much of her. This could very well be another danger.A part of her hoped the woman would not hear the child, but hearing the excitement in Namine's voice made her regret that thought. More people..... She pulled herself away from the group once more. She looked over at Xander wondering why he would let Emberald follow. She then turned her gaze towards her. She seemed unstable. Quite a Liability. Tch.... She would simply have to wait to see what would happen with her. Her blue eyes then turned to the mystery odd man. She got near him, the sensation getting crazier. It was different from Namine's, but that didn't mean she didn't get it from her. She didn't get that sensation from the hunter or Xander. She observed the man eyes had been bandaged, he seemed blind from his eyes, but at the same time she felt he could see perfectly fine. She walked around him, like when an animal tried to introduce itself. She wanted to touch him, see if he could feel anything approaching him even though his back was towards her. Perhaps the bandages were nothing more than a hoax to let someone's guard down.

Lee waited a bit away from the group, he just continued to observe each person's aura. They kept changing from unsure, to excited, to scared, to confused, only one stood normal. The older gem's, it seemed to be in a state of pure curiosity. He stood still as a statue as he heard her feet pace around him like a tiger cornering it's prey before the strike. His face was a stone set of serious when he reached out blindingly fast and grabbed the girls shoulder as she moved to his right side. He turned his head to her and leaned down a bit. "A bit rude don't you think....." He said taking his other hand and lifting the bandages enough to show his eyes. They where a pure milky white, they both looked cold and dead. Though if you looked hard enough you could see a small blue shine in the center no bigger than a pin p***k. He then moved the bandages over his eyes again, removed his hand from her shoulder and began to look to the rest of the group. "It is not kind to stare, next time you are curious just ask......"He said quietly to her as he resumed his statue like stance.

~Emberald Jagger~ The Forgotten Rose______
~"I don't want to do this...
Emberald pushed herself up to her own two legs, though they wobbled from the sudden loss of strength that drained almost all of her energy. Her nails tapped against the side of her head, concentrating on regaining her balance so she wouldn't fall over in front of Namine. Her lips broke away from one another when she sighed to herself, her mind was ablaze with different emotions. She crossed her arms on her chest before looking over to the monk and the silver haired woman, her eyes wide with wonder from where they hailed from. Her hot auburn gaze scanned over both of them, slowly deducing how much of a threat they would be in a real battle. The little woman next to the monk didn't seem as though she posed much of a threat to her operation, though she made a mental note of the nasty looking claymore that she carried with her. She turned her gaze to the battle ready monk, her fingers rising to her upper lip where her index finger gently tapped against it. How does he see? Do spirits aid him? Telepathy? Aura? She was truly puzzled by the monk, placing a mental pin in his name. Her fingers quickly dug into the cloth that enveloped her stomach, a loud growl resonating from her gut. Her mind went back to the massive platter of food she had ordered for the two of them to eat, though she received none because of the small bottomless pit in the opal gem. Do you feel it? The silver haired woman's question echoed inside of her head, and for some odd reason it made her gut twist. Her gaze finally fell upon Namine, the gentle light in her eyes lit up at the sight of her daughter. "C'mon, Namine. I'll get us something to eat. How does some sweet cookie dough sound?" The huntress usually would buy simple rations like bread and dried pork but she thought that her little gem deserved a little treat
...but it must be done"~

There was a lot of distrust going on between everyone and Xander did not like it. He had spent so little of his time wasting words on people but his master had taught him how to be friendly and charming, as reluctant as Xander had been to learn. ''If this is to work then I need to get everyone to realise we're all the same'' he thought to himself, picking up snippets of conversation. Stepping closer to everyone he smiled and held his hands out slightly. ''Are we all ready to go so?'' he asked, looking each of them in the eyes, one by one, or bandages in the Monks case. ''If I remember correctly there's an inn nearby, not too flashy but cosy enough. Everyone will have a room. Emberald, Namine, you can share if you'd like.'' This was the first step in convincing the hunter he trusted her and meant no harm. Waiting for a reply he glanced at the Monk. ''The two of us need to have a talk, he's very powerful. And I don't doubt his intelligence''

Chiyoko looked over at Xander. She understood he wanted everyone on the same page but it was going to be close to impossible. She walked over to him and took him by the hand. After pulling him away from the group she faced him. Her eyes looking coldly into his. "Xander.... I don't think.....I will be a good fit for your group." She didn't trust anyone and she realized she had started losing sight of her goals. "If you keep that huntress, the child will get killed, I've seen it plenty of times, greedy humans never change... and I for one will not get myself mixed in a problem that has nothing to do with me." If she really thought about it, there wasn't much more she could ask for. The man had fed her, clothed her, given her money. This would keep her happy for a bit until she found herself another person to scam. She forced a smile. "Thanks for Everything, and good luck with your little group." Her gaze softened, it almost pained her to say goodbye, she wasn't used to getting attached to anyone like she had with him. She let go of his hand and let hers fall to her side. With that she began to walked away. She looked back at the group had to say it was odd to get near so many gems so quickly. It made it even more uneasy, making her feel like sitting ducks. Perhaps she'd keep an eye on them in the distance. Chiyoko rubbed her arm wondering if walking away from them was a mistake. She looked back at Xander once more feeling almost guilty before turning her gaze to the ground.
