For happiness to reign supreme...
"Mommy!" A small girl shouted, not with any sort of fear, but rather annoyance. Though this was a typical emotion to spew from such a young girl. Though Kailey had her reasons to be fed up with the people hanging around her. She seemed to wither by without the slightest recognition. The girl huffed loudly, stomping a foot to the ground. Her mother was far too busy for Kailey. One would expect that with a manager of such a successful stadium. The girl kicked the floor, and stormed off to the arcade area... Which was mainly built for Kailey herself. "No one ever gives me attention." She whined.
Suddenly, the girl felt a tug on the hem of her dress. She squeaked in terror from the sudden pull. Kailey spun around quickly... A little too quickly, and fell flat on her bum. The girl whimpered in pain, the smallest bit of tears trailing down her cheeks. Then she saw him... The doll boy. Kailey's jaw fell agape as she stared at the curious little figure before her. He looked as if he needed help, this was confirmed when he spoke up. Kailey stuttered at first, "W-w-w-a. You... Are..." She couldn't scrape enough knowledge together to form a coherent sentence; however, it was obvious what the girl had meant. Kailey rolled over to her knees, and got face to face with the boy. Was this a dream?
Well, it had to be something, because this sort of thing just wasn't real. Even a girl as young as Kailey knew this. She swallowed hard, poking the little figure before her, "What are you?" Her pronunciations made it clear she was no older than seven. The girl picked the boy up, her curiosities perked to the extreme. He was like a doll, and dolls could give the girl attention.
