Belle, pondered over the exchange it still shocked her that she trusted him enough to confided in him, but she was unsure he felt the same way, she tilted her head to the side and watched him.
"I'm not expecting anyone to do anything about it, its just you are a very easy moonlit to confide in. Past the sly, and playboy attitude you are really good listener" she told him a soft smile.
She nodded her head as he talked "well, I mean, most are but eventually they learn to survive on their own." she said to him lightly. Despite the fact that when she first met him he was a sly, self-centered and playboy attitude, but with some patience and talking one could get to the heart of who Kaito was.

Him - a good listener? Mom would be happy to hear that. A lazy smile spread on his jowls, listening to her speak. He sure was finding out a lot about himself. Belle had made him be honest with himself - and was very clear that his usual tricks wouldn't work. She made him question things. That was good. He chuckled nervously, "You really think so? I'm just hoping I don't put my paw in my mouth again and offend you..."
Although he joked about his particular lack of charm, Belle could be a very powerful Moonlit when she wanted to be. Or when he stepped out of line.
"Oh their own, huh?" he played with an expression, but it ended up dropping. He hadn't seen his twin in some time now. A loneliness sparked in his eyes, and he looked at his companion in askance. Was this what he had been looking for, all this time he craved attention? Someone like Belle? "Not...all, on their own, right..?" he stumbled over the words and thoughts a bit - afraid of what the answer might be. Hopeful for a response that may hint otherwise.

Belle, tilted her head to the side "Yes, I really think you are a fabulous listener" she told him nodding her head and thought about it "You haven't offended me yet, and if you had I would have told you so" she told him cheerily.
She shook her head "No, of course not..Most usually find someone they get along with so very well, and has traits they don't have, so they balance each other out" she told him with a small shrug. Mind you she hadn't found someone that did balance her out yet...

Kaito smiled bigger; his tail began to wag to the point where as he walked, he was beginning to lose his balance. "Thank you, Belle. Truthfully, it's nice listening for a change..."
With another bark of laughter, he mused, "Oh yes, I know you would have told me. I'm glad of that." a dopey smile fell into place on his maw.
"Hmm...balance, huh?" He thought for a moment. It was so hard for him to be honest with her. What if he scared her away? He gave her an inquisitive look. No, she'd tell him. Belle wasn't the kind of girl to run from discomfort. Even if the fear of being rejected was somehow worse than her disappearing, for some reason, this purple Moonlit trusted her. "Well....You're the first Moonlit I've ever held a conversation with!" Kaito beamed.
"You're lax, and patient...and very, very, kind..." There was a lot that Kaito didn't know about himself. But he'd like to continue finding those things out, with Belle at his side. "I think that balances me out...I've always been hyperactive, and unable to sit still. But you..." he wanted to continue - she really had made it so that he didn't need to be those things anymore if he chose. But...had he said too much? He looked at her apprehensively - had he said too much? His tail still had a wag, but he certainly didn't want to fall into talking too much...

Belle watched him walk, although subtly noticing that he was beginning to lose his balance, she sidled up beside him to make sure he didn't fall "Well, it would have happened on its own at one point" she told him lightly. She lightly shook her head at his antics, at the same time they were one of the aspects she liked about him.
"I'm honored to have that privilege" she told him happily as she swished her tail to and fro idly. Now that she thought about it that was the first time anyone has told her that, others would usually have other conversations before hand, but she figured that Kai, was one who didn't get out much, a lot of moonlits went through that phase at one point or another.
"I guess that means you found the moonlit that balances out your personality traits" she told him beaming a little, everything from the conversation with Kai was a first to her and that she enjoyed very much.
