
"The ring, too," Peter agreed, spinning his index finger around a tiny, invisible planet. "I always thought the ring looked kind of... supernatural? It's surreal. Maybe that's what makes it so interesting," he explained with a laugh. He felt like a little kid talking about space like this, but at the same time it was nice. How long had it been since he had last been able to talk about his interests like this?
"You're very well prepared, Chloe! I'm impressed," he perked up, glancing down at the small picnic he had prepared. He had just brought snack cakes, she probably brought something much more grown-up, like... sandwiches. You know, something that required prior preparation aside from just removing sealed packages from a cardboard box. "It's a little bit like a picnic, isn't it? Of course, it's a little dark for a picnic, but at least we don't have to worry about getting sunburned!" Peter laughed lightheartedly at his own dumb joke before stepping towards Chloe and the telescope. "How's the view? Can you see anything?"
