It’s a fairly modest room, complete with cement walls and a linoleum floor, all lit by a fluorescent light in the room’s center. Through a bit of effort and ingenuity its brightness has been toned down a bit. Upon closer inspection it's evident that the cell's surfaces have been defiled and cleaned on multiple occasions.

One side is clearly occupied, scattered with different materials used traditionally for art among other things. It’s obvious that the condition of the walls is thanks to this; it seems that they used them as an open, reusable canvas instead of paper. The corresponding bed is the upper remnants of an old bunk that was once connected as a set to the wall. It hosts an abundance of disheveled blankets.

The opposite side seems more barren and namely vacant. There are a few traces of a person being there previously, but aside from that it seems that said prisoner is no longer there to claim it. The bed has since been moved to the right of the door, and without looking in it would be hard to tell it even existed.

On the furthest wall, pushed to the left, there’s an old couch. Somehow the tenant managed to open the inside, so it functions as storage as well. To the right another, smaller room exists that has been converted by a past tenant into a simple bathroom, complete with a shower, toilet, and sink.

The door to the cell opened slowly as Tegi cautiously peered inside A relieved sigh escaped him. Everything in the room was exactly how he’d left it, but it was bitter sweet returning to an empty room. No guards or undertakers were there to fight, and the lump under the door-side bed’s sheets was nothing but pillows and bundled blankets. And it was silent, almost too silent.

The supplies that had been carried along were thrown to the couch as he crossed the room to the bathroom. He was tired, but the injuries needed tended to and a shower was just the thing to start with. The deadman more than less stood in the falling water, still wearing the more bloodied clothes to rinse them out until they where a bit cleaner. Afterwards they were then wringed out and hung to dry, and he returned briefly to actually shower and clean out the opened flesh. Once out again he lifted a cushion to the couch to get new clothes, and dressed his lower half before sitting down and grabbing a few stero-strips and some gauze and set to work on his wrist. After wrapping it with a bandage he gauzed the bullet wound and sloppily bandaged it, along with the other wounds he didn’t notice before while fighting. Unable to get in his own bed, Tegi shuffled over to the door-side bed, flopped down, and found his way far under the sheets. Surrounded by pillows and blankets, he drifted off into a deep, fitful sleep.

While awake, the chipper demeanor Tegi carried could easily disguise his fears save the panic attacks, but deep in sleep all bets were off. Holding a façade in a nightmare was useless. Tossing, turning, fighting with the now constricting blankets; it was evident that whatever was going on in the boy’s head was anything but a happy memory. Eventually, all the thrashing about caused him to fall off the bed and wake up on impact, the fears from his mind following him to reality.

For a while Tegi stayed a lump on the floor, breathing heavily and curled in a ball, but once calmer he rose and stretched. Geez if the prison doesn’t kill me this s**t will, he thought with a sigh. While putting the sheets back in order, decoy pillow and all, he continued thinking. About his past, about his fears, and, more than anything, about what was going on currently. Like it or not his friend was in the very place he couldn’t bring himself to go.

Was it wrong to let his fear keep him away? What would happen if he tried? What would happen if he didn’t? Was she even alive? Tegi shook his head, no she has to be alive, he corrected, she’s tough, she’s not gonna give up that easily. But the quick positive thought didn’t keep the deadman from flopping onto the couch. I didn’t let her get shot, but that wasn’t enough…. I wish I could have done more... After a while he forced himself up and made his way to the door. He had to do something aside from mopping in a cell, even if it was late.

[Exits to...?]

((I really don't know where he's going. I don't wanna jump to the infirmary just yet ._."))

After a while their hasty retreat into the depths of the prison returned them to the familiar halls of G Block. However, the corridor seemed a lot longer than before to Tegi, whom was now using the wall as support as he continued onward. Whether he liked it or not his condition was deteriorating, and noticeably so, but he wasn’t going to state the obvious. In fact, he didn’t want to talk much at all, he was simply too tired to hold a conversation. Maybe it’s whatever they gave me there, I did just wake up… then again I probably ended up dropping too much… It was already hard enough to walk on a sore leg, but the dizziness and over all fatigue that he felt was hard to push aside. A few steps more and everything became fuzzy, and it didn’t take long for him to slip his way from the comfort of the wall to the floor with a thud. “Ahh so tired… guess I over did it...” he muttered half to himself. He didn’t like being out in the hall like that, but it wasn’t like he could help it much with his body being worn out.

~~~~~
Behind a door sat another prisoner, her back against the surface as they listened to the rest of the prison pulsing on the other side. It was more peaceful this way and well worth it in the long run, but it was at the price of shutting herself away. Not like her range was far anyways, navigating anywhere was a challenge with such useless eyes. I can’t see them well, so it’s only right that they can’t see me, right? They curled into their knees a bit further. Who am I kidding, they all probably think I’m dead… or some kind of ghost…
A pair of footsteps drawing closer shattered the previous thoughts, peaking her interest as she listened more intently. They were coming from the left and were about 19 doors down from what she could tell, but the prisoners themselves were hard to discern right off that bat. The door was slowly and silently cracked open to get a better interpretation. However, instead of any further clues she was hit with the smell of blood. Guess that explains the irregular gait. She drew her hood before quickly sneaking into the hall, tracing her hand on the wall as a guide until a loud thud made her freeze in place, followed by a small exchange of words. That’s…. siskin?
She ran to where they were, being sure to hide behind her hood. “He got into a scrap again, huh?” She began tracing the doors once more, paying close attention to the numbers before stopping at one in particular and opening it. “Think we can somehow get him in here?”.
(( Ahh these colors look like they're a bit too similar ><"
Also, a side note for this new, currently unnamed character: They are female, and they're pretty much blind. However, they hide both traits and try to look/act more boyish.))
Tina Winston
[ Hmm, where should I go after I separate from this guy ? ]she thought as she walked next to Tegi. She glanced over at him and frowned a little [ hes not looking too good ] . Her thoughts were confirmed when he ended up on the floor " Whoa, red ! " she said as she knelt down next to him. " Hang on, I'll help you get up," She wrapped an arm gently around his waist and placed his arm around her shoulders. "Ok, here we go," she said as she slowly helped him up. " God damn it, now what ? " she said under her breath staring at the floor. [ Where can I take him ? Theres no doubt that freaky Undertaker will catch up to us pretty soon]
Tina's frantic thoughts were interrupted by a voice in front of her. [ Huh ?] she looked up and listened to the hooded new comer. She raised an eye brow at them [ Hmm, this person doesn't seem to be an Undertaker, but, that doesn't mean I trust them. ] She narrowed her eyes [ Damn, what other choice do I have ? I don't want red dying on me ... literally ] " Yeah, he got into some trouble with an Undertaker. Can you help me get him inside? " Is this person a guy or girl ? I can't really tell .. Any way,they better not try anything funny ....
We. She just had to let her toungue slip and utter the word we. She was mentally kicking herself for it, but on the outside she tried her best to see her offer through. “Mhm. It’s weird though, it’s totally not like him to get this bad…” She carefully picked her way to where the other two stood and snaked her way under his other arm, keeping her pace matched with the other girl’s. There has to be a catch.
Once they made it through the door she led them to the right, easing the other deadman onto the bed before inspecting something she felt before on his arm. Oh... s**t. What did I just get myself into!? He was injured enough to be an insult to her senses, but an iv took it to a whole new level. A messed up, dangerous level that was right up there with pulling teeth out of a crocodile's mouth. “… he doesn't have any open cuts, r-right?” He probbaly did even if they where stitched before, but for the sake of her life she hoped not.
Before the floor could draw any heat from Tegi he was awkwardly lifted upward, but an odd silence lingered where a word of reassurance or a small complaint would have otherwise slipped out. It wasn't until he was on the bed that he started to fade in and out of consciousness.
Something... no... someone was pulling at his arm. And that someone didn't sound familiar at all to his syncope-fogged mind. Despite growing more and more uneasy Tegi tried his best to reassure himself that he wasn't in danger.
Tina Winston
As soon as Tina and the hooded person laid Tegi down safely on to the bed, she quickly walked back to the door and peaked her head out into the hall. It doesn't seem like we were followed ... I guess we're safe for now. She let out a sigh of relief as she brought her head back into the room."Hmm ? Oh, I don't believe he has as any open wounds," she said, answering the girl's question. She then walked over to Tegi's bed, sat down on the floor and leaned her back on the bed's side. She then looked up at the hooded person and raised an eye brow "You're not the type of person who faints at the sight of blood are you ?" she asked.
( I read in the Inactive thread that there are some people willing to rp here . Should we continue with the current events we have so far or restart the story ? )
She was about to object or even snap that her eyes where useless as a trap door in a life boat, but after taking a deep breath she realigned her thoughts. “If I’m afraid of anyone’s it’s his,” the hooded figure exhaled, “Siskin’s branch doesn’t exactly have a safety…” She carefully removed the iv and continued to check for any other injuries; If not for being so drenched in that tell all iron scent the task would have been simple, but for now the only way to pin point anything was through feeling for fresher blood. Maybe she she met him after he wrecked the place?
As Tegi continued to regain awareness the strange voices where heard once again, but this time there was something else as well. The something that was pulling his arm before seemed to trace along his other arm now, stopping gingerly at where his shoulder met his arm. However, before Tegi could even make sense of what was going on the light touch turned to pressure and an intense amount of pain seared from the spot. Unbearable. Agony. A shrill cry escaped him, and as he lay curled up whining in pain his branch managed to pin his assailant to the wall. It hurts it hurts it hurts! Nnnhhnnn…. why can’t I move it?! His mind kept racing, terrorizing him more and more as he drew shaky breaths.
