Obviously, the most important rule is to have fun, but second to that is to follow the Gaia ToS, I think we all know what happens if you violate that rule. Also, please read these guidelines so that you do not make mistakes when playing such as when it comes to leveling. If you have read this far and understand please comment in this sticky.

~Setting~

In this RP we're playing as normal users (normal being a relative term, given the kinds of people the game seems to attract). Mysteries might appear, and some players might form a group together to save the day, but nothing from the games, anime, or manga will be happening here, and nobody may play as characters from those sources. Pictures from the media may be used however as references, but names and personality traits of these characters will not be allowed. This roleplay centers around what YOU would do in The World not Kite or Mimiru.

~Posts~

As for how anyone here should be posting, I would prefer to see details in your posts. While we are “playing” in a video game, please try to keep any text or chat speak to something relatively understandable. Phrases such as “lol”, “ttyl” and common abbreviations are fine as are emotes (*note this only applies to the online characters and not to the real world characters). Try and keep out of character disputes out of the Role Playing forums, if I catch you harassing someone in character because of something they said out of character, CC Corp. might have to suspend your account. So keep this in mind; what happens OOC, stays OOC.

Pretty posts are appreciated. Something that displays the type of character that you are playing is all that we ask. Whether that be a little bit of color, a picture thrown in on the side, or going all out with different fonts the choice is yours. If you are having trouble or don't know how to go about doing this please feel free to ask either the VC or I and we can assist you.

Here's something to try and keep in mind, if you're done and don't expect to post for a little while, try to make sure your character logs out of The World. I'm not going to say you must try and post at least every week or anything like that, but please do try to post often.

~Areas and Leveling~

As far as leveling goes, it will be based on how the VC and I have seen you fight. If you are unrealistic in your fighting, such as winning every hard fight we throw at you, then it will take you longer to level up. If you lose every fight then obviously you won't be keeping much of the experience you may have accumulated. We are looking for a balance between losing and winning, so a loss every now and again would be realistic. The VC and myself do this because it is simpler than giving you an algebraic formula to follow. All level ups are optional so you do not have to level up right away if you do not want to, and all level ups will be private. You will receive a PM from CC Corp. with information on how to level up your character, when the time comes.

You'll have to be in the Root Town topic and from there use the Chaos Gate to get to the Area in question. There will be a few Area topics already made, but if you want to use your own Area Words, you'll have to send them to me or the Vice Captain and they'll determine what area that makes (note: this means even if you found this area in one of the games, we might give you different information about the area since it's hard to know each and every Area). Once you have that information, you'll be given permission to start that topic (make sure to put in the Area Description the username of the one who gave you permission) and copy the description given to you into that topic.
