Raiko sent a burst of his power into Kylee's hand to make her lose feeling in it so he could easily slap her hand away. "Don't touch me." he said simply as he looked back at the older woman, uncaring of how she felt due to his comment "And yes I am sticking to my claim. I had a loving home at one point too. Keyword had. Everything changes and I am not going to live with strangers and hope that they understand how different I am. Don't waste your time." With a sigh at how annoying this was, all because he lost his temper, Raiko shrugged carelessly "I really don't care. We have different opinions on this and will probably never agree. So, you know, whatever."
Asuha tilts her head, her brow furrowed at both sides of the argument.Her brother did have valid points in his argument. Especially since they do not know how a normal society works, there is always the chance of not being acceptance. Though, she does have to wonder on Sa-chans points, what if having an actual 'family' changes their lives and how they grow. "Raiko, why didn't you go to the authorities after mother left?" she asked. Depending on his reason would help her in choosing to either blame her brother because of his decision making or understand him. There are too many open variables for her to decide.
Yuzuki elbows Masato in the ribs and lowly says "That wasn't nice Mato-Tan. We don't know his situation." she felt for the boy, it doesn't seem like life was too fair to him "He was what 10 or 11 around that time? You never know how he was raised, it may have been a risk for him to go to an authority figure."

”With that attitude you certainly won’t find anyone who disproves you.” Kylee rolls her eyes. Then, she just walked away. She wasn’t about to waste time on this matter. She’s seen cases like his so many times before, after all. In the end if they refused to accept it, then no help could be given. So why waste time? She went over to Maia and sat down next to her.
”It’s always a risk to go to an authority figure, no matter how you’re raised.” Masato’s expression is blank, but his words are cold. He looks at the ground as he continues speaking. ”Do you honestly think it wasn’t a risk for me to go to the authorities just because my family was powerful? All things considered, that just made it more of a risk. They ended up trying to hold me ransom after they figured out who I was. It didn’t go smoothly since my family already thought me dead by that point. Even so, it was still better than dying.” He looked at Raiko with a glare. ”You’re right, everything changes.That doesn’t mean you’re capable of handling those changes on your own. Do you even think? If Asuha had ended up in anyone but Shion’s hands, and ended up interrupting a conversation they didn’t want anyone to hear, she would’ve been killed. No questions, no considerations, all because you failed to teach her something as simple as manners not to interrupt people when they’re talking. To think you could take on raising a child at such a young age was idiocy at it’s finest. I don’t care if you didn’t want to be separated from the only family you had left, that’s just selfishness. Asuha was a baby. Even though abnormally smart a family can easily accept that. In fact, a lot of families might even want that. Even if she developed further powers, after seeing her genius they would pass her off as their own. People with powers are very useful to gain political standing. If you don’t believe that, well, have you really not caught onto how both Maia and Mizuki are from powerful political families and have powers? She would have been much safer in any other environment they would have put her in.” Hey, look at that. He’s actually pissed off about something.
Kaiko woke up just in time to hear Masato actually pissed off. She opens her eyes and looks around. She sits up and rubs her eyes as she looks at the scene before her. It takes her a few seconds, but once she's fully awake she notices the tense atmosphere around Masato. Her eyes widen, "Eek!" She hides behind the nearest person, which is probably Sora or Akira.
