Hey everyone. Anyone got any all time favourite movies? or movies that are coming out soon that you can't wait to watch? Lets discuss them!
I really like chick flicks such as The Notebook, based off the book from Nicolas Sparks (I think that's how you spell his name. Can't remember if there's a 'k' in it). It makes my heart melt every time I watch it! Especially when they're separated. And the ending! Oh I just love it!
I also love movies with Greek mythology in them, such as Clash of the Titans. I watched that one not too long ago, not sure when it came out but yeah it was really good in my opinion. Great graphics and I loved the story line.
So yeah, there is two examples of movies I enjoyed and why. Have any comments on them? or any movies you wanna talk about? Maybe even newer ones. I know those two aren't new but they're movies that stuck out in my head.

My favorite movie is Jodhaa Akbar....its foreign with subtitles.
Its about a muslim emperor who wanted to control everything, but he realized that he had to give everyone religious freedom, because otherwise he would only rule over a kingdom of corpses. He married a hindu princess, and they end up falling in love. Its a long movie, but really good. It is all about everyones struggle to accept other religions

I find this to be a difficult question to answer biggrin i'm going to have to say Princess Mononoke by Hayao Miyazaki, although, to be a little more accurate, I love every one of his movies.
Other than that though, I also enjoy movies about Mythology, or really anything Mythical. Blood and Chocolate for instance was a decent movie that was also based on a Book.

blood and chocolate, I think, would of been a lot better had they stuck to the way the book was written. The movie and book were completely different.

I agree with you on that, but I was unfortunate enough to watch the movie before realizing it was a book first, so even though I agree that they weren't the same, I still think both the book and the movie were good, they were just two different stories with the same name razz
