Hai! Who are you? I'm quite positive this roleplay is only between XxRielle-ChanxX and emu_kimu therefore I'm rather sure you shouldn't be here. That is unless you are reading along with our story, then you may stay. But if you are a nasty nasty little bugger here to steal things and cause trouble then you'd better turn your arse around and leave now before I seek the most ghastly things ever upon you. Thank you ever so much <3!

яσsєs are Яэd vιoℓєts are вℓυє ☽Яasuɪ Яemiєl☾ ץoυ will never єscaρє ωнiɭe I have coитrσℓ over youIn a dimly light area of a small tent a figure could be seen slightly slouching in front of a lonely mirror. The show had not yet started, but there was still a lot to do for preparation. Rasui looked at his own reflection wearily. The show the previous night had taken a lot out of him. His specialty was influencing other people's minds; once he had a hold of it, Rasui could control emotions or even what some people see. He nicknamed himself the King of Dreams. It was almost ironic that his own dreams had kept him up all night. He could control them in anyone who was weaker minded, but he could not control his own. With a soft sigh, he removed his decorative top hat and rubbed his orange eyes sleepily. He needed to be awake and ready for the upcoming show.
He pulled himself out of his chair and was about to exit his tent, but a cold chill up his spine made him stop in his tracks. Rasui sighed in annoyance and turned around letting his upper lip expose a small snake like fang. Standing inside his tent was his boss, Lucifer himself. He seemed slightly amused to see Rasui in such a condition. "Were you expecting anyone else?" Lucifer replied with a grin on his face.
"Not really." Rasui replied crossing his arms. When Lucifer was around, it normally meant to him that something was either wrong, or something was going to go wrong with his next show. Rasui thought he had been doing fairly well not to have been bothered by him for a few months now. He thought that perhaps he had struck enough fear in peoples' hearts or exposed their worst attributes that maybe Lucifer would stop telling him how to do his job. Lucifer walked over to Rasui about to exit the tent himself.
"We've recruited someone...new." He replied.
"You're not stickin-"
"Don't argue Rasui! Keep in mind that I can kill you any time I would like. You are going to be in charge of this new recruit whether you like it or not." Lucifer left Rasui's tent without another word.
Rasui muttered crossly to himself as he walked out of his tent. Lucifer failed to tell him where and when this new person would show up. His rage was almost palpable. Why did he have to get stuck with the newbie? Hasn't he been working here the longest? Hasn't he been doing the best job? Wasn't it his show that attracted the most people?! So why in the world would Lucifer stick him with a newbie?! Rasui didn't think Lucifer did much for the carnival outside of advertising, but he wouldn't question Lucifer's authority. So he waited right there, outside his tent to hear the words "Hey, there's the newbie!" or "Yeah Rasui's right this way." or any other cue to tell him that the newbie was on their way. If I weren't already a demon, I'd damn myself. he mused bitterly.

Jinx sat there, wondering how is God's all mighty power she of all people ended up in Hell. "Here I thought I'd behaved myself in my lifetime" she said with a huff as she was shoved into a group of people standing around looking just as confused as her. There were murmurs that they were being sent to the "carnival" as they liked to call it. "That would be hilarious" she thought with a snort as they were ushered along, "a carnival in Hell." Shaking her head she looked around at her surroundings, not really knowing how to respond to the fact that she had been sent to Hell after being shot point blank in the chest by her boyfriend. "Some jerk he was" she said aloud which earned her a few weird stares as they continued to walk. Looking ahead of her she then began to notice the large circus like tent they were being sent into, her eyes widening at the fact that they had indeed been led into a carnival. "Well bust my buttons" she said softly, her eyes widening as she saw the many demon like men and women around her.
She looked up just in time for one of the males to wrap his arm around her waist and whisper against her ear. "Well aren't you quite the pretty little thing" he murmured, his breath ice cold against her ear causing her to shiver. "How about you be my pretty little assistant for my knife throwing act" he said as he quickly whipped out several knives and held them close to her face. Jinx felt herself turn pale but just stood there looking into the depths of his soulless eyes. "I-I'd much rather not thank you" she managed to say, causing a frown to spread across his lips. "Now now now, I don't think it's smart to reject a man holding very sharp knives to such a fragile little neck" he said getting closer. Squeezing her eyes shut she prayed for the best until she felt herself being freed from the man's grasp. Looking up she saw a woman, her eyes shadowed as she looked at her up at her up and down. "Scorpio do stop scaring the new babies" she said as her mouth curved into a devilish grin, "especially when you know Lucifer is sulking around here checking out the fresh meat." With that final sentence she drug the man away, leaving Jinx sort of standing there not really knowing how to deal with that little bit of conversation.
Finally they were pushed into the tent, the lights dim and the smell of heat and sweat filling the air. Jinx made as face as they were told to sit down on the benches and enjoy the show. "I'm starting to wonder if this is a dream from to much drinking or something" she thought as the lights grew even dimmer and a man stepped into the spotlight. "Welcome one welcome all! It is my pleasure you to welcome to Hell's Carnival!" Applause began to echo all around as people clapped, causing Jinx to wonder if this could actually be entertaining. "And here I thought Hell was supposed to be nonstop torture" she thought with a laugh as the show began. She wondered what sort of act would even be put on, after all what sort of acts wouldn't be possible when you're where she was. Looking around she noticed a man shrouded in a black cloak, but before she could really think into it the man was gone. "Hmm, must be my mind seeing things" she said, earning a shush from someone sitting close to her. To keep herself from getting hurt by someone she shushed her mouth and just watched the show, her dark eyes watching eagerly as she learned about her new home and it's offerings. Little did she know that she was being watched, rather intently by someone in the shadows as they show began.

яσsєs are Яэd vιoℓєts are вℓυє ☽Яasuɪ Яemiєl☾ ץoυ will never єscaρє ωнiɭe I have coитrσℓ over youAfter waiting a few moments outside of his tent, Rasui finally walked back into it. He didn't have much time left to prepare. The night was young and his usual crowd of the dead was awaiting his arrival. His show was the main reason they came. No matter what, even the souls of the dead want to be frightened. He ran a hand through his pale hair and sat in front of his mirror.
Rasui put his demonic looking top hat back on his head and fixed his bangs a little. Carefully he lined his eyes with black eye liner to make his orange eyes appear almost red. His final adornment was an elegant looking cane he would bring with him into the ring. At the moment he looked almost human. In his act that would change, but it was no illusion. Rasui was in the truest definition, a demon. He wasn't supposed to look at all human. Rasui figured he was just a special exception. With a slight chuckle, he pulled himself out of his tent once more, hearing the sounds of someone yelling at him to hurry up. Rasui paused and waited for the announcer to finish his introduction to Hell's Carnival. He took a deep breath in for good luck, and made careful strides to the center of the tent, keeping his head lowered.
Rasui could feel the excitement as his regulars cheered him on. He grinned, reveling that sharp fang with his upper lip. Carefully he raised both his arms and faced his audience. It wouldn't be long now until they were under his spell, and the rest of the show could continue. He chuckled ever so slightly, with the slightest hint of malice in his voice. And still most of the audience just stared at him.
"Ladies and gentlemen of hell!" He shouted to the audience. "This show is not for the faint hearted or weak minded. I offer you one last chance to leave. Here you will see things that you would have never seen before..." Rasui paused for effect waiting to see if anyone left. As far as he could tell, no one had. His smirk turned into a full out evil grin. "Now without further delay, let the show...BEGIN!" With a gesture of his hand, the lights went up and then slowly dimmed to black again.
Rasui cleared his voice and muttered something almost unintelligible to his audience. He knew exactly how his powers worked. As soon as those lights went up and he said his little poem, everyone there weak minded would be his. "Roses are red, violets are blue, could you really escape the fears I see within you?!" The poem was nothing more than show, but it gave the audience the feeling that all the illusions they saw were real.
Rasui manifested the fear he felt and instantly started to project images from his own mind into the mind of his audiences exploiting their worst fears and moral failings. Everyone saw something extremely different, but Rasui didn't care. It only matter if he struck fear into their hearts. One of his partners in the show tossed him a very slick looking whip. As soon as the audience was prepared enough, then he could begin with his real act. He waited about five minuets before cracking the whip against the ground making the illusions turn to dust. "I don't think we were introduced were we?" He asked his audience. "I am Rasui, King of Dreams." There was another crack of the whip as Rasui summoned another vision.
Rasui was still tired from last night, but managed to summon a single vision that they would all see. He suddenly dropped his whip and held his hands to his head, acting like he was in great pain. What everyone else would see was this unspeakable monster tear through his skin and lunge towards the crowd. After this creature came, his top hat fell off his head reveling ram like horns that adorned his head. He glanced around his audience and waited for the cue to stop this vision. His cue was solely the sound of screams.

Jinx watched as he, or it, or whatever took center stage after everything was announced. She could see his fangs glinting off the fire's dim glow and his voice sent shivers up her spine as he warned them about his performance and how it wasn't for the faint of heart. Hearing that honestly made Jinx a little frightened but being that she had gone to plenty of carnivals before she figured it was all smoke and mirrors. He, well she assumed it was a he at least, started to murmur a poem and for a moment she felt herself completely melt into whatever he was saying to them all. "Roses are red, violets are blue, could you really escape the fears I see within you" were the words drifting through her ears causing her brain to suddenly numb. But it was only for a moment, she opened her eyes back up instantly. Except she wasn't where she had started, instead the entire stadium was completely empty except for her. "What's going on, where am I" she cried aloud in hopes of gaining some attention. After all she had just been sitting in the middle of a huge crowd, but now she was completely alone. She got that very uncomfortable feeling again, that feeling that she was being watched. "Come on I know someone is out there, show yourself" she said slowly as she looked around, but she froze as she heard the noise of a gun cocking.
Turning around she saw him, standing there in the middle of a ring of flame as he grinned at her. She took a step back, but he could only step closer making her breathing deepen even more. "W-what are you doing here, y-you can't be here" she managed to say between breaths, her body trembling at the sight of her boyfriend. "Y-you shot me you bloody b*****d, you pumped me full of lead and left me for dead" she said as she stared at him in disbelief because here he was grinning like a bloody demon at her. "Now come on darlin' don't be givin' me that look" he said, his eyes flashing in the darkness as he circled her around. "I only did it because I loved 'ya, you didn't listen like I told 'ya to and now lookie where you got yourself" he said motioning around him. "Here I thought you was a sweet innocent little princess, but it seems that you belong down here just as much as I do" he said aiming the gun at her pounding heart. "N-no! You shot me for now reason except the fact you didn't get your way Anthony" she said, taking a step towards him now to defend herself. "I don't belong here, I don't know why I am here but one thing is for sure you of all people belong to burn down here!"
His face changed, it was no longer a grin but a face of pure hatred and distaste for her now. "You listen here chickie poo I shot you because you damn well deserved to die, you thought I loved you didn't you" he asked with a sickening menacing grin as he stepped towards her. "I didn't, I didn't love you at all Jinx" he said, causing her eyes to well up with tears. "Yes I wooed you, made you trust me, but in all honesty I just wanted to see your cold lifeless corpse rotting in a pool of your own blood." Her blood ran cold, he aimed again making sure he wasn't going to miss his target. "Oh darlin' I'm going to enjoy doing this to you for the rest of eternity" were the words from his mouth before he pulled the trigger. A scream torn from her lips as she felt hot metal sear through her flesh, she felt the warm blood turn cold against her flesh as she collapsed. But before her very last breath was taken from her body she was back with the crowd, her body trembling and her face covered in fresh tears as well as sweat.
She looked around frantically, her hands moving all around her body as others screamed around her. She was alive, still in the godawful place but she was still alive. She closed her eyes and took deep breaths for at least five minutes, but before long the man's act was over and it was moving onto the next. She took that change as the perfect opportunity to leave before something else like that happened again. She got up and quickly worked her way through the crowd making it to the exit and leaving quickly. Jinx felt sick, like she had just woken up from a horrible nightmare all over again. She wandered around without paying attention when suddenly she ran into something face first. She fell backwards onto the ground, rubbing her head as she muttered an apology. "Look I'm sorry" she said as she slowly looked up at whoever it was she ran into. But her words were cute short when she realized she had just bumped into the demon who had caused her mental, physical and emotional pain. At least she believed him to be the reason why. "W-who are you, what the hell did you do back there to all of us" she said, her eyes once again welling up. She felt like this was fate, like she was supposed to be talking to him. But at the same time she feared him and wanted nothing to do with him at all.

яσsєs are Яэd vιoℓєts are вℓυє ☽Яasuɪ Яemiєl☾ ץoυ will never єscaρє ωнiɭe I have coитrσℓ over youRasui had captured his audience once again. Lucifer should be proud to hear that his performance was another hit for the damned. Rasui chuckled to himself ever so slightly. It was all a game, the game where he held all the cards and no one could do anything about. Rasui was an expert when it came to mind, but it also helped to have these demon powers. He was indeed the King of dreams. No one has ever escaped from his grasp. Rasui could capture almost anyone's mind. The last thing he expected was almost be knocked over by someone getting up to leave. He almost lost focus, not only from the clumsy person, but from lack of energy. While everyone was still screaming, he put a hand to his forehand and looked down.
There was something strange about this girl. She'd woken up too soon and it worried Rasui a little. He looked around at his audience, but everyone was still caught in a dream. He felt like he could diverge a little and still have control of everyone. He chuckled a little looking at her in this state. It was almost pathetic in his eyes. However he wanted to congratulate her on surviving the dream. By her facial expression, he could tell that hers was especially unpleasant. His little fang glistened in the soft dim lights of the fire. How little she knew was very evident. At least she was smart enough to figure out that it was Rasui behind all this. Any average spirit would be confused and thought it was only part of the show.
“I told you who I am.” Rasui replied. “I am Rasui, the King Of Dreams. Rasui looked to his left and right and signaled for the knife throwers, fire breathers, and other acts to get ready. He was tired now and wasn't sure how long he could hold the illusion. They knew what the cue was, and as soon as Rasui gave it, they would be ready. He put a hand to his forehead as if he were slightly in pain. He looked around and then back down at this girl who had apologized to him and simply begin to walk away.
"You might want to get out of the ring before the effects wear off.” Rasui replied. “The knife throwers are very enthusiastic about their job. the quickest way out is here.” Rasui walked over to the edge of the tent and push open a way out. He held it open, and waited for the panicked girl to walk out. Even in the afterlife, there has to be some manners around. In his past life Rasui wasn't all about scaring people or controlling their minds. He used to be quite the gentleman, but that was long ago. He was tired and all he really wanted was to sleep, but he figured Lucifer would have another job for him. After all, he still needs to deal with that newbie.
That's just what they need for the end of the day...Rasui mused dejectedly.
