Mare stood still for several seconds before sighing. With the confidence she displayed, he assumed that she either had an escape plan or she was sent here to glean information out of him. Either way, he didn't have much of a choice but to listen.
However, instead of sitting, he merely walked over to where she was pointing and pushed the chair aside, continuing to stand. He gazed down at her with an apathetic expression, crossing his arms.
"...Talk."

Sicadah smiled softly as the light he had previously been blocking splashed over the far wall. "Thank you, Now I'll ask you again. How comfortable are you with dealing with the drow?" as she once again took her seat on the floor.

Sicadah gave a whole new meaning to the phrase ‘long winded’ as she talked. Pausing only every so often to glance over to where he had been standing. Finally after what seemed like hours she gave him a look and asked.
“So does that all make sense now?” She hadn’t really given him much time during her explanation to make so much as a single interjection let alone discuss anything at length. The scroll she had brought out to show him earlier now tucked away as it seemed he couldn’t read in the dark like she could. They hadn’t moved either which was good as it left the other wall clear. Despite being asked a question Mare never got the chance to answer as a distant but thundering noise dominated all other sound in the room. A wild lurch utterly different from the swing they had grown somewhat used to shook the building as it grinded to a standstill.
"Guess it's time to go."

Mare was sitting on the floor now, leaning his head on his forefinger, middle finger, and thumb while the woman in front of him explained everything. Ironically she sounded like him when he explained concepts to anyone else, though this time he listened intently.
"...And Sakiya?" he asked after she was finished, frowning slightly.

"We don't have time." She said hurriedly, barely able to keep herself from being thrown from the sudden lurch as they stopped moving. She had been kind of dreading this next part as she swiftly moved to tackle him to the floor, her hands going for his wrists as she quickly issued an apology.
"Sorry but I need you to hold absolutely still."

His hand immediately latched onto the wall when the tower violently vibrated as it did, though he found that it was pointless.
"...What the ******** are you doing?" he hissed as she pounced him, a scowl present on his expression. He was aware of the plan, but the details were otherwise undisclosed.

Not trusting him to do so on his own accord given how stubborn he seemed. She tried to set the example, not even breathing after she had finished speaking and not bothering to answer his question. It was clear in a moment as to why she had done so, the half of the room he had first stood in crumpled like paper and was sucked outward leaving only a gaping space where it once had been. once the wall was gone she rolled off him and back on to her feet.

Mare's eyes widened slightly at the destruction, believing that until they are out of the city he should allow the woman to make the judgment calls. He glanced back at her.
"...Fine..." he sighed. "We need to get Drachfire first." He didn't add, however, that he was intending to find Sakiya as well.
As she stood, he pushed himself off the ground and grabbed the hilt of his blade.

One glance back at him she motioned for him to release the blade, she hoped he got the message as she sprinted for the opening and disappeared through it into the open air.

The black blade slicked through the air as he pulled it from its sheath; it was still as heavy as before, however. He walked to the edge where the room no longer existed, gazing out into the open, waiting for their cue.

Hovering a foot of two below him on the back of a flying furred creature Sicadah offered her hand out to him, Offering to help him to a seat behind her. She was frowning at his sword and sitting behind an armored figure with a cloth mask over its face, blocking even its eyes from view.

Mare frowned somewhat, not recognizing the creature at all. Nevertheless, he crouched down to allow more of a push when he jumped out of the opening and onto the enormous bat. He landed beside the masked being.
"...And Drachfire?" he asked.

The figure pulled the reigns of their mount which veered to the left sharply, heading away from the building which was now filling with the rushed motions of elves and weapons.
Sicadah had a death grip on her portion of the creature's saddle as she answered briefly. "There is another team getting him. For now I suggest holding on and keeping your mouth shut." She made a series of hand signals to their right as another of the flying creatures came along side them carrying more of the dark shrouded figures.
