Her smile widened and her eyes closed at the sheer amount of emotions and amusement she was feeling all at once. He was always more charming when he went red. And she saw she had no less affect on him than she always had. Still breaking up his sentences with her shows of affection. She got so swept up in the moment, she never felt curious what the rest of his sentences were.
His words and the feel of the hand on her cheek made her open her eyes, previously ignoring the change in position as nothing important. All she had time to utter was a soft "Xero..." before his name quickly died on her lips, killed ahead of its time by his own. Her purple eyes went wide behind her glasses, as wide as they could go for only about a second. It didn't take long for her to loosen her grip on his arm, through hers around his neck, and return the rather random gesture.
"That confirms it." Prisca only left a very small distance between their faces when she broke apart, her face now back to it's original beet red once more. "The terrible Mewtwo is a man after all."

"It would appear so." Xero confirmed with a warm smile as he pulled away from her. It was a sight to see the red upon her cheeks which no doubt mirrored his own.
He couldn't even begin to describe how that had felt. Right seemed too vague. Perhaps it would sort itself out in time. This was his first real kiss from his first real love.
So caught in the moment was he that he failed to see the evidence of his battle with that irritating mew a while back. It was just up the path, tree branches cracked and blackened from exposure to the shadow ball he had used to try and take the thing's life with. He had also failed to sense the strange presence within the reflective surface of the icicles that surrounded the forest.
Xero held his arm out in a silent gesture for them to continue. "Shall we?"

If the man hadn't removed Prisca from his neck, she would have been more than willing to just stay there, her face inches from his. She couldn't help the wave of disappointment when he untangled her, leaving her to settle back onto the ground with a slight frown. She adjusted the wrap across her shoulders, making sure the little rose was keeping it held together tightly at her waist. Partly because it had slipped more to one side, partly to hide her face as it went back to its normal shade.
Oh, she had her share of personal comments on the whole ordeal. Aside the usual happy and fluttering feelings only a kiss like that could create, there was a part of her that felt foolish. A grown woman behaving like a teenage girl? That wasn't what an adult's love was supposed to be. Full of blushes and acting like a fool.
Or was it?
Shaking her head, Prisca returned her gaze to Xero, the smile wiped off her face by the thoughts in her head. She didn't like reminding herself of a teenager. But she couldn't help it. It was unfortunate for her he just seemed to bring out that side in her. Completely against her will.
The woman quietly took his arm and turned back around to the trail only to freeze and stare at the strange appearance of the trees up ahead. Choosing to ignore it for now, remembering what Oblivion had told her not too long ago, Prisca allowed Xero to lead her further down the trail, waiting to see if he would say anything first about it.

Xero had grown very quiet as they passed the destruction zone. His jaw tightened a bit as he gave it a side glace and vividly remembered that being that had dared make a scene with him. The fool. It wasn't until they passed the site that he looked down at Prisca and noticed she was no longer smiling. So wrapped up in his thoughts he had failed realize they had been walking in silence.
"Is something the matter?" Xero inquired with a warm smile as he looked down at her. The hand opposite the arm Prisca was hanging off of moved to rest gently upon Prisca's own hand. "If you are uncomfortable or cold, we could continue this elsewhere if you would like."
Xero had never paid the cold much thought himself and had never been bothered by it much. However, he had remembered that Prisca was a little different than himself. Perhaps she had gotten cold and not wished to say anything about it? No, she would tell him if there was something wrong. Xero had never thought to trust someone so much, but for some reason he trusted Prisca with everything. Was that normal? Was that safe? regardless, Xero could give no answers to these questions. Perhaps that was what this 'love' was.

Okay, so he wasn't going to bring it up himself. Always the difficult one. He could have spoke up first and saved himself some face. Instead of pretending it wasn't there.
Unless he really didn't notice it. Prisca wasn't exactly looking at what he was doing. Not until his hand touched her exposed fingers at the crook of his elbow. Turning her head slightly, she regarded the man with a blank stare, searching his face for any kind of recognition on the passed area. When she found nothing, she frowned, tightening her fingers slightly on his arm.
"Uncomfortable is a good word," she answered him a little coldly. "Though not exactly truthful." She turned full to him, stopping in her tracks, but keeping her hand on his elbow. "But I suppose you are not trying to play innocent and find your actions justifiable." A sigh escaped her then, one of wariness. "Oh, Xero. It's amazing how differently two Mewtwo can think." And she patted his cheek affectionately with her other hand.
