Nocturne Nocturne then remembered the red-head that was carried downstairs earlier by a student - who was that...? "Well she's in a detention cell yeah? We could have a break down there with a coffee, then you can attend to her afterwards. Who is she by the way? I can vaguely remember seeing her once, but not entirely...it's niggling at me now."She was not normally so prying, but Nocturne had a distinct recollection of the woman. She also hoped that Emma would take her up in her offer - looking at her she looked about ready to collapse from exhaustion - either that or she just wasn't all here.

"I just break minds."
Emma decided to take up the girl's offer. "Coffee sounds good" she smiled, and motioned for the girl to follow. She walked down the hall. She passed the cafeteria, ignoring it completely. Emma wasn't about to get coffee in such a comman place, and the kitchen didnt sound good either. So she continued to walk through the halls. "The redhead was Siryn. A mutant with a very loud voice. Her father was a good friend of mine, but he died sadly."
She reached a door round the back of the mansion that lead to the garage. The Mansion's garage had an assortment of the Xmen's civilian vehicles. Included where Cylcop's jeep, Wolverines bike and of course Emma's car. Pulling the keys out of her pocket, she walked to her car and opened the door.
"How about Starbucks?" She smiled. It wasnt the best time to be going to starbucks but Emma was due her break.

Nocturne Unfortunately Nocturne still couldn't place where she knew this 'Siryn' from, but decided it was best to leave it for now. She followed Emma to her car, passing many rooms and luxurious vehicles within the mansion. When Emma mentioned Starbucks Talia almost jumped for joy; it had been a while since she had had real coffee! "So, what kind of coffee do you enjoy? I'm a sucker for a good espresso; really gives you a jump-start!"Then she sat into the passenger seat of the car and slammed the door shut behind her; very nice! Beautiful buttery seats, flash modern technology - a real dream car! She started asking herself why again she hadn't taken a place among the X-men, then remembered her mission...

 Once Nocturne got in the car, and shut her door, Emma put the keys in the ignition. Putting the gear in drive, she sped out of the garage, the automatic doors opening for her as the car approached. She drove the white vehicle down the Mansion's drive way and out the gates. "Oh darling, I don't drink such questionable coffee as starbucks" she laughed. As they drove through westchester, and into town, Emma pressed a little button under the cars radio. A little tray popped out with a tea cup, and a nozzle extended above it.
Emma pulled up outside the starbucks, reached into her bag and pulled her purse out. She took out a $20 bill and handed it to Nocturne. "Here you go darling, buy whatever you want. I'll wait here" said as she reached for her tea cup, blowing the content gently and taking a sip. Her chair automatically reclined, responding to her thoughts as there is a mini cerebra unit installed in the car. Mmm, Lapsang souchong.

Nocturne She was a bit caught off guard when she was handed the 20, but she gladly took it and hopped out of the car. Strolling up to the window she noticed that there was a special on smoothies; great! Maybe she'd get a mango one... BANG! Through the window she noticed a masked man with a smoking gun, a body lay bleeding on the floor in front of him wearing a Starbucks uniform... What the heck!?! She motioned her arm for Emma to come see, trying her hardest not to be noticed and calling out to Emma with all of her self; she knew she had latent telepathic ability but didn't know how to channel it at all... She just hoped she could help before anybody else was hurt.

Emma smiled as Nocturne hopped happily out of the car. She looked forward, sipping some of her tea. It was nice to be out of the hectic mansion, and in the city for once. It seemed like all of Emma's time that was not spent saving the world, was instead spent teaching at the school, so it was a much welcomed break for her.
Emma hadn't heard the bang from the shop, and remained unaware that there was any trouble. However as she sipped her tea, she noticed Nocturne in the corner of her eyes. The girl was waving discreetly, signalling Emma to come to her. What on Earth?.. she thought to her self. Putting her cup in one of the cup rests, she opened the door and exited the car. She quickly made her way over to the Blue girl, and peeked through the window. She saw what Nocturne had saw, a masked man and a body on the floor. She also noticed, that there three more men behind the counter, piling money into bags. "Criminals these days," she scoffed. "Robing a starbucks. What ever happened to a good old bank heist?" she whispered. She thought the men inside were incredibly pathetic, robbing such a little shop. She turned to Nocturne. "You have the power of possession, don't you? I can't reach their minds, they must have some form of anti telepathy device in their mask. If you could get inside one of them and take control, you could perhaps distract them long enough for me to think of a way to safely neutralize them in my diamond form," she explained to her. Emma preferred to use her telepathy to fight crime, but in these rare circumstances when it was rendered useless, she could instead take them down with a high-powered diamond punch.
