Rules:
Hello, everyone! The Troupe Staff here with some minor rules.
Behavior:
ღ Obey all Gaia ToS and the mods at all costs. Keep this thread at least a PG--17 level. Violence is encouraged, but no God-modding, auto-hitting, power-playing, or the like is allowed. Romance is also encouraged, but no sex. You may time skip if you absolutely must. Be polite and respect all fellow role players and their characters. Respecting others is respecting yourself. Treat others how you would want to be treated. No inappropriate behavior, excessive cursing, or slander. If you have a problem with one of the other guild members, tell a guild moderator and we shall take care of it.
Literacy:
ღ This is a Literate role play guild. You should be at least Semi-Literate. This means you should post at least one (1) complete paragraph, which is about five to twelve (5 - 12) sentences; but no more than seven (7) paragraphs. You don't have to write a novel. Just write enough for others to work with. We all get writer's block, but don't make it a trend. Spelling isn't an issue as long as readers can understand what you're saying. Be sure to use third person perspective when you post. Please, use correct grammar and punctuation, meaning no text talk. It helps for a clear post and understandable meaning.
Posting:
ღ Pretty posts are good posts. Your posts should contain your character's picture and name. Pictures should be anime. No avatars or links for pictures. Text colors are highly encouraged, but please don't use blinding colors or colors that may be difficult to read. Post all Out of Character chat in the OoC thread. Use [[ ]] or (( )) for all OoC accompanied by a post. Be sure to pay attention to other people's posts, as they may have directed theirs towards you.
Profiles:
ღ All profiles should be filled out in first person point of view in full sentences. Post them in your own thread within the Profiles Subforum with ((Pending Approval)) in the title. It will be removed when an admin approves it. Each character a user has must be approved before it can be used. You may have up to four (4) characters, maybe more if we think you can handle them. Please do not edit the profile skeleton format. They are pre-made for a reason. If there is anything in the profile skeleton that does not look like an error, your character will not be approved. For races and occupations, refer to the Caravan How-To thread.
Absences:
ღ Don't join and not post. If you are going to leave or be gone for an extensive amount of time, please make note of this in the Absentee Thread so you don't get kicked out. Make note of your return when you get back. If you decide to quit, please notify a moderator so we can remove your character(s) accordingly.
