As his underlings arrived Thanatos began to pack up his cleaning kit and reload his massive cannon. After the gun was loaded he clicked the cylinder into place and thumbed the hammer back, before fitting it into its holster. Thanatos rose to his feet and approached his employees.
“Good to see you all came back for a second days work. Ok today we will be discussing our next plan of action and I will be assigning you roles, but we’ll worry about that later. Please hold all questions and comments until the end of this briefing.” Thanatos said in a clear and professional tone.
Thanatos paused for a moment as he placed his hands behind his back and continued.
“ First let me start with the plan and that is destroying this armory.Let’s go over what we got for intel. We know it’s about 5 miles southeast from the town, roughly its size and that it is most likely heavily guarded. I wanna do a recon mission first to get some better details on the exact location and the size of the above ground building. I also wanna get an idea of the number of guards stationed there. We need to go about this the right way or Victor will catch on to our plan and order Sergey to move as many of those weapons as he can to a secure location. We will only get one shot to get in and destroy this armory. First we will trick Sergey into thinking we are preparing an attack on him by targeting his southwestern outposts. This may even cause him to send men guarding the armory to reinforce the outposts. So tonight at midnight we are going to launch an assault against the ‘Brutus’ outpost owned by Sergey located just 2 miles south of Sanctuary. Any questions or comments?”

Kayla listened to Thanatos's plan with intrigue. It wasn't an entirely original plan, but classics are classic for a reason. She hated wasting any energy that wasn't essential for a mission, so gearing up to come to the West Ridge for a 5 minute speech irked Kayla. However she chose to hold her tongue about such qualms. "No use asking too many questions when I dont know how he will react." She answered with a bold grin, and a half-joking salute."No questions here boss!"

Six Rank: Private Squad: Active Mission: Profile Once the others arrived on their own horses, not bothering to get out of the saddle once they did, Six got up from his seated position and went to stand by Diablo while Thanatos explained his plans. So far, it was a sound plan. Divert the enemy's attention away from your actual goal, and strike while they defend what they think you want. Six put his right hand on Diablo's shoulder as he thought for a moment. "No real questions, none that won't be answered once we set up who's doing what at least." The only questions worth asking at this point would be those concerning the set up of the Brutus outpost, and Thanatos would most likely answer those as best he could when he explained what all of their parts would be anyway. SunshineRank: Private Squad: None Active Mission: All War Is Based On Deception SunshineSunshine leaned forward on the saddle, patting Walker affectionately on the neck. Due to his heavy armor however, instead of a soft clapping sound, it was more of a knocking sound. Nonetheless, the horse enjoyed the attention and snorted happily in response. When Tabitha and Kayla finally arrived, Sunshine turned to Thanatos for instructions. He spoke, and then paused, waiting for responses. Sunshine listened to Kayla speak first, and scoffed and thought to herself, ‘That girl will end up killing us if she’s that impatient all the time.’
Figuring that Thanatos would expect a verbal response from her as well, Sunshine repeated in the same monotone, “Awaiting direct orders and ready to move out.”Xp: Gold:

Tabitha CardellRank: Private Squad: None Active Mission: All War is Based on Deception Tabitha CardellTabitha listened as Thanatos explained his plan. There didn't seem to be anything particularly wrong with it. The diversion tactic, if implemented well, could be very useful. However, they had no guarantee that Sergey or Victor would take the bait. How could they be certain that Victor wouldn't be a step ahead of them and figure out that it was a trap? "How do we know that Sergey will fall for it? she voiced. "Though I really don't know if that one has an answer. Besides that, I have no questions and am ready to move out when you are."It wasn't like she had any other plan for how they could do this. If it worked, it was absolutely the best course of action as far as she could see. If it didn't work however, then this crusade would be over a might too soon for everyone's liking. Dawn snorted and flicked an ear back at her rider, but she would wait patiently until she was told to do something. Well, semi-patiently. Her tail twitched from side to side a little, but it had nothing to do with flies. XP: Gold:

Brutus Compound Map
“Honestly…” Thanatos stopped and turned toward Tabitha. “It might not work. But even if it doesn’t distract them it will, at the very least reduce their combat effectiveness and leave them guessing. Rule Number One of War: Nothing is certain.”
Thanatos reached in to his trench coat and procured a hand drawn map. He raised it up so the group could see with one hand and with the other hand pointed to a symbol in the lower left hand corner
“Ok here what we are gonna do; we will ride north this evening down an old dirt road and reach an abandoned hitching post about 2 miles south of the ‘Brutu’s Outpost. We will then dismount and continue on foot til we reach these rocks here in the corner. Six and Sunshine will move to the rocks at the northwest while Kayla and I will start out at these rocks here. Tabitha will crawl up to the top of the tallest of these rocks and provide sniper support for the group. They have four guards in watch towers in each corner and two more in each guard house at the front entrance.
Phase one will consist of us eliminating these hostiles- silently. Tabitha is gonna take out the two on the west side, closest to her. Kayla and I will move around the back and take out the other two towers by climbing the heaps of scrap metal that the walls are composed of, and killing the watch tower guards- silently. Whilst this is going on, Six and Sunshine will make their way to the front entrance as soon as Tabitha takes out the guard in the northwest tower. Make sure the two of you hug the walls and take out the four guards before they can raise the alarm.
Phase two consists of Tabitha simply scanning the compound, taking out any hostiles in the area that aren’t marked on this map while the rest of us continue eliminating the guards. Once inside Kayla will move to the Mess Hall and eliminate the one guard while I take out the guard in front of the supply depot. Six and Sunshine’s job will be killing the two guards in front of the parking garage. You will have plenty of cover if you crouch low around the scrap piles.
Phase three consists of removing the last guards, pretending to steal intel, regrouping, blowing the place to kingdom come, and escaping. Tabitha will maintain position and directives from Phase Two. Six and Sunshine will move up and kill the two guards in front of the barracks. They will then use the guard’s keycard to lock the barracks down. The last thing I need is a sleeping soldier ruining our plan by getting up to take a piss. Kayla will move up and eliminate the one guard at the stables and then the two at the command post. I will make my way behind the command post and take out anyone inside through the windows with my handgun. Kayla will go inside and grab any documents that look important and bail. Don’t take too long, basically just grab anything that looks classified and get out of there. We will all regroup here in the fort while Tabitha starts heading back to the hitching post. I’ll toss an explosive over to the supply depot to level it and we’ll all head back.
Thanatos lowered the map and began to fold it back up before continuing.
“Once we get back to hitching post we will ride off full gallop back to town. We’ll only have fifteen minutes to complete the mission once we break cover. From the moment the nearby ‘Ajax’ outpost knows we are attacking the Brutus Outpost they’ll sends 5 Hoverbikes armed with fifty cal machine guns and carrying two riders, also heavily armed. So ideally they won’t know about our presence until I fire my massive hand cannon at the command post. By the time they get there we’ll be half way back to the hitching post and they’ll be too busy trying to figure out what happened.
Because it’s going to cloudy tonight we should have no trouble sneaking into the fort since they have no thermal imaging at the Brutus Outpost. Kayla, you will need thick Kevlar leather gloves to scale the wall. Go to the general store and buy some with this.”
Thanatos reached in to his pocket and tossed her a pouch with some coins in it.
“Everyone check you weapons and gear and meet me by the old dirt road just past the north guard tower at 7 pm. Ok I am finished; any additional questions?”

Six Rank: Private Squad: Sunshine: Private Active Mission: All War is Base on Deception II Profile Six listened as Thanatos explained the plan in more detail than one would think, including the exact positions of gaurds within the compound, what forces the nearby compound would be sending as backup once they attacked, and the fact that nobody at the Brutus outpost had any ocular implants. It was a well thought out plan and, so long as nothing unexpected occurred, it should go off without a hitch if everyone did their part. Still.... "Since neither Sunshine nor myself have any suppressors I guess we'll have to do this at close range. In that case," here he turned to Tabitha "mind if I borrow your knife? My bone shedder isn't really meant for stealth. I'll take good care of it." Whether she gave it to him or not, he turned back to Thanatos and said "I only have one real question about the mission. How do you have such detailed information on them right down to their H.E.I.s and the forces that the 'Ajax' outpost will send?" True, Thanatos could have just been making a rough estimate about it from past experience and some intel he'd gotten from the girl about the number of forces, but he seemed too confident in his information for that to be all it was. It wasn't that Six was suspecting anything, but if Thanatos had a secret source of information in one of the outposts then that was an asset Six wanted to know about. Xp: Gold:

Tabitha CardellRank: Private Squad: None Active Mission: All War is Based on Deception Tabitha CardellThe only thing Tabitha said in reply to Thanatos's response was, "Fair enough." She listened attentively as he went over the finer details of the plan though, and she carefully examined his hand-drawn map. It was rather crude, but it served its purpose. The plan itself was also pretty straight forward. What seemed rather remarkable however was how Thanatos seemed to know every intimate detail about the Brutus fort, how many guards would be out, and where they all would be. Granted, if Thanatos could find each one of them individually in order to offer them a job, who was to say he couldn't sneak into a manned fort and map everything out on his own? Or perhaps he just sat up on the big rock outcropping that would be Tabitha's post during the mission and sketched it all from there. That seemed a little more plausible, but it was still pretty unbelievable that he could know everything with that amount of detail. If Tabitha didn't already feel like she was under scrutiny for her previous outburst against Sunshine, she might've offered some smart-a** comment or question asking if he knew how many nose hairs they all had too, but she thought that for now, it would be better to hold her tongue. Luckily for the sniper, Six voiced the essence of her concerns; she would just wait to see what Thanatos had to say in reply. Six also asked if he could borrow her knife for the mission, since he and Sunshine would have to be fighting at close range and he apparently didn't have anything quieter than his bone shredder. The ghost of a smile flashed across her face at the memory the night before when she had thought he was using the bone shredder to shred the bones of the bandits... She didn't know how she felt about giving him her knife though. What if she needed it? It was her ownly close-combat weapon... But she supposed that for the good of the mission, she could bare to part with it for a little while. Leaning over, she slid the combat knife from her left boot and held it carefully handle-first down to Six, who still stood beside his horse. "You better take good care of it," she muttered as they waited for Thanatos' reply to Six's question. Not that there was likely much she could do to him without being at risk of getting fired, but she would definitely be displeased. XP: Gold:
