Anrel watched E'lara from the corner of her eye with a grin. She had noticed the dagger. "I have that, and more." she started, "That dagger, it is very special." She turned suddenly and leaned against the small table. The dagger looked like a normal silver dagger, the etchings reminding the wielder of the forest and the power they held at their fingertips. "It is of the finest silver. The enchantment you no doubt have already discovered, will ensure you rip through even the toughest armor, degrading it." The Listener ensured. She took the parchment she had left out and gave it to the argonian. "Your latest contract, if you so wish to take it." On the parchment there was a name, and the schedule of a man. He traveled quite frequently and was very powerful. "Kill him and bring something unique to him for a bonus."

"Wha-?" The man caught Altos off guard to which Higuera saw as a window of opportunity. The Bosmer's fist was flung towards the still bleeding face of the Nord. Altos quickly dodged the fist and yelled at him, "STOP FIGHTING, DAMMIT. What are we even fighting about?!" He turned around towards the Breton. "I'm interested"

Thomas smiled. Hopefully the Elf would be equally intrigued by his proposal. Picking up the wine glass that had been placed in front of him he moved towards the pair, and the rubble they had created. "Well you see, I am something of a Mercenary. I was hired only a few moments ago to do a rather fascinating job." He took a sip from his wine-glass, his eyes, barely visible beneath his ornate mask, were darting about the room. There would be competition on this job, they might be nearby. Besides, he didn't want to give other adventurers, or these men, too much in the way of details. The last thing he needed was mutiny.
"I can't say much about the information, but I will tell you this. It involves hunting down an old Alyied Artefact." He moved closer to the two men and whispered "I know more, but I dare not reveal too much here. The walls have ears. I have a boat moored up in the Reed River. Head south of town and you should see it. Meet me there and I will tell you more. I assure you, I pay my crews very well, meet me there and you won't be disappointed." He finished the rest of his wine in a single gulp and left the inn, and then the town, making his way back to the boat.

"Screw that."
Higuera rose from stance, face bloodied. "'Don't work for no one, don't take orders from no one." He raised an eyebrow to the nord You're not seriously thinking about taking the job, right?

Just then, expectantly, a shiny metal-man barged through the saloon door's. "HALT. YOU ARE IN VIOLATION OF THE LAW" The man compensating-ly yelled "Hope you like prison!" Higuera said as he climbed through the ceiling's hole.

Altos froze. Before the guard could see his face, he quickly disarmed the man beneath the armor, removed his helmet and punched him clean in the nose. A river of blood was let loose. Altos looked back and said one thing, "I'll meet you there." Altos quickly got out of town and back into where he was most comfortable, the wilderness.
"Well, I got my work."
Altos, soon realized on his way south towards the meeting site that he had no weapon. "I guess this is just another test from The Nine." He told himself.

Higuera walked the evening streets, un afraid of any city enforcement. "Screw that. I don't need anyone's money." His stomach clenched as he fell to the ground "URK! ...okay I need his money..."

Higuera arrived up south. The boat was there, untouched and alone. He sat on the limb of a low swamp tree. I guess I'll just wait until one of them makes a dramatic entrance. He thought. In 3.....2.....

After about a day and a half of avoiding wolves and bandits while making his way down south towards the meeting spot. Altos arrived and immediately saw a familiar face. "Bosmer!", Altos whispered to himself as he dropped to the ground. He was unarmed and vulnerable. "I'll try to use diplomacy." , he says, unsure of himself.
"Good morning, Elf!", altos yelled to Higuera from a distance. "I see you changed your mind. I was hoping we could set aside our childish differences. Altos held out his hand as a peace offering.

Slapping his hand aside Higuera spouted
"Don't think this changes anything, ....Nord. Once we get paid and I get a beast in my stomach we will finish what we started."
Higuera clenched his fist in another and cracked the knuckles.

(OCC: Oh Schiza, I had my fellow waiting in The Nibenay Basin. Ok! I can work this, just read that post, graft it in here, and when we head out we will pick a region where we are travelling in) As Thomas sat, tying things into the boat, he heard voices. The fellows from earlier! Capital! He had been barely visible, hidden beneath the sides of the boat and mounds of supplies. He popped his head up "Ah! There you both are!" He reached into his pockets, fished out his bag of coins (A fair deal lighter now) and tossed a few coins to each man. "Consider that advanced payment for your services. I've been promised a hefty price for this job, and it will take us into Alyied Ruins. Any adventurer worth their salt knows that they are invariable treasure chests!" He stepped out of the boat, his brown hair falling around his face, now that his mask was removed he did not bother pulling his hair back and tying it. "So, come aboard" He said, gesturing to the boat. "Our voyage will take us South, into Blackwood. Terribly inhospitable place, but it's where we need to go." He stepped back into the boat, sat near the rudder, and began untying the rope that was holding the vessel in place.
