Unless you are looking for a fight, you should never enter the Deep Woods. Especially unarmed and without backup. Monsters vary in size from celestial bronze bugs the size of watermelons to large giants. Those intending to enter the woods can consult Mr. D or Zane about what monsters are currently stocked in the forest if they wish. If not, a list is ocasionally posted inside the rec room of the Big House. Whenever a monster is destroyed, it is appreciated if you report the defeat to a cabin leader or camp director so they can remove it from the list of monsters residing in the forest.
If the shadows of the forest were not enough to make fighting difficult in this area of the forest, the trees are also tightly packed together making movement difficult. Because of such a tight space it would probably be best if you lured the monster out to where it is easier to fight--unless you want a challenge.
