☽ Lunestra ☾ ☽ Roberts ☾ Luna helped Arthur move the Puma into the examination room and then left Arthur to do his thing. She returned to the front and saw that the EMTs and Police people had left. Only Joseph was left there. He looked a bit stressed out but otherwise fine. "How did it go?" Luna asked nicely. Joseph really did seem like a good person. Bringing in an injured animal rather then leave it on the streets was certainly noble. If the cops had thought him their man Luna would be annoyed. She was not the best judge of character but this hefty guy seemed too good for such an act, beside if he had summoned the large cat why bring it in? That would be stupid. In the eyes of the wolf, the world seems to shine.

Joseph Achilles Leverett: Joseph ran his scarred hands through his short brown hair, glad that his wounds had been patched. The interview took shorter than he expected. Joseph felt he knew why. "Oh fine. They aren't going to look to hard though. Until someone who isn't just volunteering gets hurt, and badly, they just don't have the manpower to deal with small incidences like this." He shrugged, then winced as it pulled on one of the shallow gouges. "So what did they say about the lion?"
He was still watching the door, as if waiting for someone else to appear, or for the cops to return. He didn't look as concerned as he had before. He had work still, but he had already calculated he would be late. A few more minutes wouldn't hurt.

☽ Lunestra ☾ ☽ Roberts ☾ Luna sighed, Joseph was right about that. The cops had so many things to worry about, a random mountain lion was not going to be top on their list. After all the zoo could take care of the animal. "Well so far he can not see anything wrong with her, she does not seem be pregnant either. He is going to call for the zoo van to bring her over there for a better check up."Luna walked back to the desk and and pulled out two styrofoam cups. "Would you like some coffee before you head back to work?" Luna offered as she walked over to the coffee machine. In the eyes of the wolf, the world seems to shine.

Joseph Achilles Leverett: Joseph shrugged, "Sure, but I have to leave soon afterwards." He was not feeling eager to head back to work. There was a rusted old engine they wanted him to swing at with a wrench until it came apart, and it was grueling slow work.
"Glad to hear she would be okay. Worst case, once she is healthy again, they can put release her back into the wild, if the Zoo doesn't want her. I think they are indigenous to the area? Then again, I know little to nothing about flora and fauna." He took a sip of the coffee and asked, " So how long have you worked here?" He sort of motioned to the area of the animal shelter.

☽ Lunestra ☾ ☽ Roberts ☾ "The zoo will likely hold onto her until they are sure that can be returned safely to the wild. She does not seem to have born in captivity so that changes things a bit. However if she is a zoo or even circus animal they may ask to keep her here rather then return her to her original home." Luna explained calmly. It was what she had learned from working at the shelter for the last few years. Luna took a sip of her coffee before continuing. "I'd say I have worked here for about two years now." She considered her time at the shelter. She had started working there the summer after her first year of college and had continued durning her second year of college. She smiled to herself. Days like these happened far more often then she would have liked to admitted to herself. It would be nice to find a way to keep these sorts of things happening. In the eyes of the wolf, the world seems to shine.
