The ability to feel sympathy for each other is one of the most beautiful traits that we possess as humans. The human condition is one of fundamental aloneness. When we reach out and share our sympathies with another human being in pain, we are offering a great kindness to the individual in pain. He knows that he is fundamentally alone but at least he knows that others care and are trying to understand.

most of you know i haven't been online in months. i just got the news tonight. gothichearts was AMAZING! i sit here in shock and my heart goes out to gothicdreams and her dad... she completely accepted me and enveloped me in her love. i remember my first Christmas... i think she sent me 50 gifts. she loved her family soooo much, her beautiful nephew captured her heart, every time she talked of him she'd just make me smile. the world suffers with such a precious life lost. i only knew her online but she was a friend... one that i will miss.

Just returned to the internet world of Gaia moments ago, and I'm very sorry to hear that gothichearts passed away. I didn't know her personally, but she seemed really nice and sweet. Rest in peace. sad

This is a pretty late post but it was needed. Gothichearts really meant a lot of me. She helped me through a lot, kept me on gaia, got me to join this clan; just overall was a benefit to everything in my life.
Although we only knew each other through Gaia we had always looked forward to actually meeting each other in real life eventually. I stopped getting on Gaia for quite a while but I got on earlier today and visited her profile and saw the news.
She is a VERY big loss to all her knew her and will be sorely missed.

I have been belatedly informed, since I haven't got on as much as I used to.
It is so hard to believe.
You were one of the first few people I got to meet on this clan, and your sweet personality that no one I knew had back then had made a long lasting mark in my heart, and it will always be there.

Oh, my god. I'm late in reading this news. I'm sorry I didn't read this earlier and I'm even more sorry for her passing. That's terrible. It was much too soon for her to go.
I am sorry to say that I didn't really get to know her too well but I remember her and her sister always posting and showing up to clan meetings. She was definitely a valuable member of the the clan, as was her sister. :]

I did not know Gothichearts personally, but I do know that this is very sad news indeed. I am very late in seeing this, and ughhh, reading through the thread made me realize what an amazing person she was. The world, her family, and her friends, have all lost an irreplaceable individual. Gothichearts, may she rest in peace.

I have been away for a very.. very.. long time.. This news saddens me greatly, as Gothic was one of the kindest people I met on Gaiaonline.. She was a true Guardian, always looking out for others, always supporting the clan.. May her memory live on always within those whose hearts she touched.. RIP to our fallen sister..
