I am: a Male and I'm 19
Mostly I write: Poetry/Lyrics without melodies yet..
My biggest influences are: Lots of things, but mostly the challenges and problems in life that I've faced and problems I still am facing now.
I aspire to: just figure out life and it's crazy twists and turns.
In my free time I: Snowboard, Skateboard, Play guitar, Attempt to write dubstep (lol), Write, Read, Workout, Party, and (You guessed it) Smoke weed.

Well howdy there!
I'm Cassie, and I'm 29. I like to write in the speculative fiction range - I lean towards cyberpunk/steampunk, with a dash of fantasy. I want to be a writer in the video gaming industry, come up with a tabletop roleplaying game or two, write novels, and keep my apartment clean for more than a day. I think that last one is probably the least likely of the lot wink
In my free time, I play games of many varieties, and of course like most people here I'm a fan of watching anime. I'm also staff for a few conventions over the year (which, for some reason, always involves hauling buckets of ice around, no matter what else I'm supposed to be there to do), and try to attend a few more than that. Basically, free weekends are a rarity for me.
One weird thing about me is, as I've been told, my "fiddly hobbies". I'm an amateur bookbinder and calligrapher, and I've been slowly studying paleography (the study of old writing; this inevitably ends up with me flipping through images of medieval manuscripts looking for amusing pictures of monkeys). My general tendency towards arts and crafts belies my occupation, which is in IT.
I'm really looking forward to getting to know everyone here, and getting some writing done!

Hello!
I'm Samaire, a 19 year old girl.
I mostly write poetry, but I also cooperatively write a lot of fiction.
Most of my influences are musicians, usually singers that I like.
I aspire to just be as happy as I can and make my loved ones happy for the rest of my life.
In my free time I write, sing, listen to music, and just play on my computer.
One weird thing about me is that there are very few genres of music that I won't listen to and/or appreciate at least somewhat.

Hello, my name is Danielle and I am just 15 years old.
I write short stories though I really want to make a full length novel. The easiest form of literature for me is poetry, I make poems a lot and I have been my region's Poetry Writing Champion, now aiming for a second win.
When metal blocks hit me, I read up on Tolkien, Rowling and Lewis mostly, being my childhood favorite authors of escapist literature.
I'm aiming to be journalist someday, writing stories that matter.
But other than that, I can draw better than I can paint and paper mache is one of my hobbies---mostly to make imitations of weapons from anime and games.
Yes, I love anime, manga and games.
if I keep describing myself, we'll probably end up somewhere far from this topic, so, yeah, that's me!
