I live in New England so I've been getting a ton of snow. Because of this, about a week ago, my sister and I built an Appa out of snow. I would love it if anyone else out there in the snowy weather would built Avatar related snowmen as well! Show your nieghborhood your love for Avatar! We actually got alot of comments from local children about our Appa and it was even featured in the news a couple of times. XD

 A side view of Appa. He was far too large to get a full body shot of him. We used dirt to make his markings and parts from a confetti popper for his eyes. XD  Appa's face. His nose was more defined in person, but the picure doesn't show it.  Another side view of him. He was large enough that I could have ridden on top of him. XD We had planned to make Aang on his back, but we ran out of time.

Anywho, speaking of "Momo," I just got a pet grey chinchilla yesterday that I named Momo. He's the cutest thing in the world 4laugh

The huricanes must be brutal, but it must be nice to not have to worry about shoveling snow and slipping on ice all the time. XD I'd be scared of hurricanes, though. The only hurricanes we get here are always blown out of proportion. XD I've only been to Flordia once when I was 14 (I almost drowned XD) but the weather was amazing. Plus there were lizards everywhere and I wanted to keep one. ^.^

It's flippin expensive here and all the mean old people around really put a damper on things. Hurricanes can be pretty scary, but I've gotten used to them by now. The shark population has spiked, so there's no swimming at the beaches for the time being. We also have an issue with iguanas. People have been letting their pets loose and now we have too many to count. Same with snakes. I really don't like the irresponsible pet owners, because now, because of them, I have to get some licence to have mine. But ohz wellz. At least I have anime conventions coming up, so I have reason to be happy smile

It's starting to get colder which means snow! This year I hope to see some more Avatar snow sculptures and I plan to make a Momo one. ^o^
