Just warning you now, I have a lot of pets. I'll start from the first and work my way down to the newest. First, Kage (Kah - geh). my mixed pit bull: She literally followed my brother home a few years ago and my brother, Kage, and I triple teamed my mother into letting us keep her. She's been ours ever since and now she's an old lazy bones. Since she's one of my many rescues, I can't honestly say her age for sure, but I'm gonna guestimate that she's nine or so. She's my Kage-baby 3nodding Then there's Sierra, by mom's ex-boyfriend's rescue cat. My mom didn't want her because her asthma doesn't like cats, but when mom's boyfriend left, Sierra was left behind. We couldn't just abandon her, especially since she was sick at the time. We got her better and she'd been mine ever since. Don't know how old she is though, again, she's a rescue. Third was Lola, the rescued chihuahua. Someone litterally showed up at my mom's work ond day with Lola and gave her to my mommy. She's been ours ever since and she rules the house with her alpha bitchiness, all four pounds of her Fourth and Fifth, Penelope then Monty, ball pythons. Bought at Santa's Enchanted forest and...I don't know about Monty. I wasn't there when he was purchased. They're 4 and 3 years old. They're also rediculously chill. Penelope is the brighter one on the right and the duller one on the left is Monty. Six is Bones, a.k.a Rat, the chihuahua. I go away for the summer, mom's all like "My baby! My baby!" I get home, and there he is...among other things. He's one and half years old, and the sweetest pain in the a** I'd ever come across. He looks retarded because the camera's flash was right in his eyes. Seven is Nagini, the ball python. She's a nasty b***h that wasn't socialized before she was dumped onto my mom. Since she's a snake there aren't a lot of places to take her to be adopted, so we wound up keeping her. She's the only snake that has ever bitten me, and I've held a lot of them. She's still mine though, and she lets me handle her. She hasn't been completely socialized though, so she's a major pain in the butt. Eight is Momo, my absolutely adorable chinchilla. I LOVE MY MOMO!!! blaugh He was abandonned at some pet shop, the poor little thing, and now he's mine. Don't know how old he is, and I've only had him for a few days, but it was love at first site between us. He's my baby, and he's mine and mine alone 4laugh

I just wanna cudle him! Is there any special care you have to give him and what do you feed him? Well, Momo is like a gremlin and can't get wet, so he has to have this dust bath thing. He needs to be kept in cool/cold temperatures. He needs toys and stuff to play with and to chew on since his teeth are always growing. he has to be able to climb on stuff Every now and again he'll need brushing, but that's like a once a month thing. Also, since he's male...I have to check his...thing...to make sure the hair around it hasn't tangled and stuff since they can get deseases and infections around their...thing... I haven't had to do it yet, since I just got him and the pet shop took care of it for me, I won't have to do it for a while...but still.....EW!!! I still love my Momo though. Anywho, he eats pellets and those you can buy at any pet store. They have them especially for chinchillas.

Wow, there's alot of responsibilities that come with Momo, but I know he loves you and that you take good care of him. ^_^ Tee hee! Sorry, the part about his, uh, "thing" caught me off gaurd and I chokes on my drink. XD But, that seems like such an awkward task! I don't think I'm mature enough to handle a pet with care like that. XD Are chinchillas social animals? I know some smaller mammals have to have another one with them so they don't get lonely and I wasn't sure if you'd have to get another chinchilla for Momo.

I know what you mean about the awkwardness, but i don't mind since I really love my Momo. And to answer your question, yes, chinchillas are social animals and one day we will get him a girlfriend, but that'll be after the move since chinchillas (under normal conditions) are rediculously expensive. My family and I got lucky with him.

I'll have pictures up soon for all to see smile . Momo's still a bit skittish around people, but he lets me handle and carry him just fine. He likes to torment my dogs too; He'll go up to the edge of his cage and make these weird barking sounds. When he does, the dogs go crazy. When they go up to his cage Momo starts running in circles like the adorable idiot he is. I love my Momo xd
