No...you gain the amount of Ki the Tech costs. So if you learn False Super Sayian it adds 2000 Ki to your total. If you learn Tail Training then its only 400 Ki to your total. Stats cost you 600 Words normally and add 600 Ki per stat normally. If you have Weighted Clothes then it is 500 Words per Stat and adding 500 Ki per stat.

Hmm, I forget, just what was the maximum Ki/points for a character that left the Academy, but hasn't yet won a tourney or anything? Would that just be E-rank, or does winning cover the progression from D >> C? (Trying to figure out how many unspent words I can spend on each character, versus turning it into zeni.)

Would that just be E-rank, or does winning cover the progression from D >> C? (Trying to figure out how many unspent words I can spend on each character, versus turning it into zeni.) Or is there no real requirement at all, unlike in NRotS, where there's less ranks, and tests/tournies between each rank?

What I do like is the sheer number of other sources we've woven into it to make it better. Rurouni Kenshin, Elfen Lied, Inu-Yasha, FFX, .hack, classic movie monsters, Yu Yu Hakusho, clowns, and so on. It's really just Naruto in name only.)

Two more questions and I'm good to go.
In academy (example Skull Valley Phantom Faction and True Faction) If I were to be classified in Phantom faction, could I be able to learn True faction's moves, or is classification stuck only on that?
Also, by custom techniques, could anyone be able to learn another faction's moves?

Ace Sho Ryuu Two more questions and I'm good to go. In academy (example Skull Valley Phantom Faction and True Faction) If I were to be classified in Phantom faction, could I be able to learn True faction's moves, or is classification stuck only on that? Also, by custom techniques, could anyone be able to learn another faction's moves? If your a Phantom Faction...then you can only learn the Phantom Faction Hybrid techs. If a technique is colored than it is meant solely for that Classification or Race. And custom technique can not allow you to learn techs of other Classifications.
