Have you ever experienced any moments of hilarity when out LARPing?
Once when I was monstering, we were setting up a goblin ambush for our players - we wandered down the path ahead of the players, and were expected to hide behind some bushes until our unsuspecting adventurers came along. The leader of our group managed to find this large concrete plinth in the long grass and brambles, and thought it would be a good idea to do his goblin leader bit from up there. However, as he was climbing up there, he fell over in the brambles shouting, "OOH! SPIKEY BALLS!" Thinking this sounded quite gobliney, he decided to incorporate it into his role.
As the adventurers came along our bit of path, he jumped out onto the concrete plinth shouting, "I BE SPIKEH BALLS! YOU MUST PAY TOLL TO SPIKEH BALLS!" at which point the rest of us jump out and start shouting variations on this theme.
I was laughing so hard I almost couldn't role play the goblin.
It was probably the sort of thing that's more funny if you were actually there, but there you go!
