Name: Aya Brea
Equipment: Tonfa Baton and has reasonable knowledge of using any firearms that she can find.
Abilities:
Initial abilities:
-Aya's mitochondria are able to communicate with other mitochondria, which allow her to "Scan" other's biology. Note: Aya uses this often to examine her opponents for weaknesses.
-Aya's mitochondria allows her to impose commands into other mitochondria sometimes "slowing" them down (through lack of energy to provide the host) or "confuse" the mitochondria's host.
-Aya's mitochondria also can provide healing abilities. Note: The mitochondria heals Aya by providing energy for her body to recover wounds. This energy amount is produced in 4 different levels (Level 1 to Full capacity; If at full, Aya becomes strained and collapses for a few seconds to aminute) which Aya has no control over. Sometimes, if the effects are not immediate, then it means Aya is in "Gene Heal" a term used to describe a steady state of regeneration over a period of time. When Aya is unconscious, her mitochondria sometimes "Preraise" her and try to awaken her by discharging electric energy into her brain.
-Aya's mitochondria have the ability "Metabolize", which allow her to be immune or "Detox" her immediately of an illness or toxin.
-Aya's mitochondria creates a "Barrier" of energy around her. When threatened, it protects her in someway or another, but doesn't necessarily mean that she is invulnerable.
-Aya can focus her energy into her bullets which, attack opposing mitochondria on impact. Note: This ability strains Aya to the point where she will collapse for a few second to a minute.
-Aya's mitochondria can provide more energy in her body to allow her to move "hastefully".
-Aya seldom uses this abilty, but her mitochondria can "Liberate" which transform her into a green pixie-like creature. During this phase, Aya moves at incredibly fast speeds, attacks hand to hand combat, while her body discharges as much energy as she can. Unfortunately, this lasts for a short period of time and the result causes Aya to collapse for several minutes.
Evolved abilites:
During the 4 years which Aya first gained these abilities, AYA'S MITOCHONDRIA HAS EVOLVED AND PROVIDED MORE POWERS. These powers I have later classified (for easier references) under the four elements: fire, water, air and earth.
Fire:
-Pyrokinesis~mitochondria creates heat energy forming fireballs. Aya shoots multiple fireballs from her palms at a single target.
-Combustion~Aya creates a ring of heat energy converted to fire in front of her. Anything within that ring's range(diameter of 6 feet) is damaged.
-Inferno~Everything around Aya using a nuclear fission is affected by the explosion. Note: drawback is that Aya is strained from using this ability.
Water:
-Life Drain~Aya can command opposing mitochondria to absorb energy from the host's body rather than generate energy.
Air:
-Necrosis~Electric discharge which attacks internal organsand bone cells, also "poisons" the target.
-Plasma~Uses huge shock waves to knock back any target that it doesn't kill.
-Apobiosis~Electrical discharge that attacks nervous cells, which causes spasms and paralysis.
Earth:
-Antibody~mitochondria creates energy to toughen up skin cells; serves as body armor.
-Energy Ball~mitochondria's energy is converted into balls of nucleic energy, and can be fired at a target. These balls of pure nucleic energy surround the target and damages the target when it collides with the target's movement.
These observations are confidential and can only be seen by authorized personel and Aya Brea's permission. As results show, Aya's abilties seem to have stopped evolving for the time being.
Document written by Dr. Kunihiko Maeda.
Bonus: Mitochondria abilities have evolved to a extended level within 4 years since discovered. Abilities are constantly evolving and Aya's full extent is unknown to her.
History: Quote:
Aya was born in Boston. Her mother, Mariko, and her twin sister, Maya, died on a car accident when Aya was very young. Aya had damaged her left eye, and was transplanted with Maya's cornea. Aya became a NYPD officer in 1997.
During the New York incident in the following Christmas, Aya discovered that Maya had also donated her kidney to a girl named Melissa. The mitochondria in Melissa's body revolted, and finally in the Christmas Eve of 1997, it awakened. Aya could fight against the superevolving being called "mitochondria eve" with help of the mitochondria from Maya, which was transplanted to her with the cornea.
Six days of warfare for survival ended with death of Mitochondria Eve, which was actually Maya, in the Chrysler Building.
However, Aya had to suffer the horrifying memories of her past, and was depressed by the fact that she had killed her own sister.
Aya joined FBI's MIST (Mitochondria Investigation and Suppression Team) after the New York incident, working to wipe off the monstrous Mitochondrion creatures. Her unique powers and experience was successful in suppressing the creatures... that is, until a night of September 12, 2000.
Another bloody battle against the creatures took place. This time, Eve, a DNA clone of Aya, was her main enemy. Finally, at last, the Mitochondria creatures were defeated.
Aya is currently residing in Los Angeles, together with Eve, who became Aya's step-sister after the series of battle that took place in Mojave Desert. Eve seems to have lost her mitochondria powers.
