She shook her head and groaned, "That's not what I- uuuugh!"
She broke away and thought about how he may have had a point. Maybe embarrassing memories was not the way to go. Would current things be better? More secrets that she would want no one knowing?
She clenched both of her fists, took a deep breath, and shouted, "Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to melt butter on your abs and lick it off!"

Theresa felt her ears pop from the opposing winds that swirled around her. She felt the ground shudder once more as the four stones formed pincers that grabbed at Theonis from below. She lunged forward and punched the base of the pincers with her bare fist. The pincers toppled over like a stone tree, and the woods became silent again.
She took a few seconds to make sure nothing else happened. She thought about what had just happened.
"Theonis, just before I lifted you up, did you use your power?"

If he wasn't confused before, he certainly was now. Licking his..
"abs?" He just said before against his will, his mind painted the picture for him. Her arms wrapped around his waist, looking up at him as she ran her tongue acr-
His face flushed with heat and his heart was certainly a lot faster. Breathing picked up. Hair and pupils pulsed with a pink hue.
"I...often find it..increasingly difficult to stay calm around you. To not...." Liam said hesitantly.
Theressa countered whatever made an attempt at him but without her powers. There was no further retaliation.
"Yes, to see if anything was near. It...responded right away, didn't it? Did you use it just now?" Theo asked but he was most likely already in line with her.

Freya looked at her hands and body. Nothing. "Sonova b***h!"
She then looked up at Liam and notice his behavior and hue. "Are...are you ******** horny right now? Goddammit, this isn't working and now I've got you all revved up!"
She took a moment to calm down and explained, "Look, my aura is based on emotions right?" Rydia had this crazy idea that if I were to be vulnerable I could have an aura that bypasses powers like her spirit claws. So I tried telling you things I've never told anyone else."

Theresa shook her head and replied, "No. My body is solid enough that I can do what I did without using my powers. I think whatever we're looking for is attacking when we use our powers."
She turned and looked at the abrupt carnage that had just unfolded around them. Shattered stones and sliced flora surrounded them. She turned back to Theonis and sighed, "This might be hard."

Liam looked away for a bit before looking at her again.
"Yes! Because you have no idea what you-!" He stopped his sentence, closed his eyes and took a few deep breathes as she explained. Hair and eye color shifting back to it's normal color. Breathing and heartbeat slowly calming down. He didn't know it but he was making a fist. It was hard for him to really calm down. He was still not 'calm' but better.
"Sorry, I should not have raised my voice." Liam responded before taking another deep breath.
"How very...Freya of you to try and 'force' vulnerability'. Shouldn't that trigger, if there was one, be surrender instead of just telling secrets as much as I appreciate hearing them? But that might be, difficult for you."
Theo stepped down from his little air platform.
"Hmmm, and it struck with the opposing element. Earth for me...Wind for you. So I suppose we'd need to beat our natural enemies. Alright, let's just...take a walk and see if we can find some more information"

Nova Blancke "Don't blame me for your insecurities." Trinity glared with her green glowing eyes at the mention of ‘insecurities’. “b***h please! You get off your damned high horse of perfection! You think I have time to think about that s**t!?!” “Like I have a luxury of an hour to do hair and make-up. Oh wait you don’t have to deal with that either because you wake up so damned perfect! I hate you, you buxom, blonde, b***h, barbie! When you showed up that’s when things fell apart.” “Regardless leave him out of it! This is about you! You were the one out to rob me of the man I was with! Well you ******** succeeded the future confirmed this. He wasn’t the one who robbed me of my powers and shoved me into an unbalanced fight. From where I stand you wanted me to die!” “You damned ungrateful b***h! You have no idea how much I have to do in order to not only keep your a** safe but the rest of ******** Valhalla and in some instances the world! While you and your girlfriend right now can enjoy your ******** luxurious joy rides, spa day and whatever pampered nonsense you do with all that unearned privilege! The rest of us work for it!” Trinity paused a moment and wondered did I just say that? she looked to Liv and Kotetsumaru. They definitely heard her say those things. She didn’t like the fact that she is making a poor impression of herself to her senseis’ father, especially after they spoke highly of her. Normally, she would have the discipline to restrain herself from saying something rash. This felt like something else was in play. She looked to Kotetsumaru, “I’m sorry you had to hear all of this.” It was clear that that was for Kotetsumaru and not Liv. “There’s something going on about this place isn’t there?”

Freya's ears stood up at the word "surrender." She immediately shot him a look and growled, "Surrender?! You have to be ******** kidding me! Even when I died I died fighting! I don't ******** surrender!"
She let out an exasperated sigh and began to pace while she spoke aloud. "I told you an embarrassing secret, and I just let out a sexy secret. What am I..."
The gears visibly turned in her head as they locked in place. The one form of vulnerability she had the most difficulty fessing up to. Emotional.
She took another long, deep breath, and let it out slowly. She approached Liam and asked, "As hard as it was to say those other things, this is going to be the most difficult. Something I thought would be impossible."
She then reached her hands forward with a clear desire to hold his. Her eyes watched his hands as her cheeks remained flushed.

Theresa nodded and turned to walk. "Sounds like a plan. I'll take POI-!!!"
She had taken one step forward and sank directly into the ground. Where there had once been solid ground had been changed into a sand pit that threatened to swallow her. Her hand shot up desperately as her head submerged below the grains.

Kotetsumaru narrowed his eyes at Trinity and scoffed, "I'm surprised you were able to realise that over the sound of your own rambling, but you are correct. Within these walls there will be no unspoken secrets. The two of you will either get everything out in the open and learn to co-operate, or you will spend needless time foolishly bickering. The utter stupidity of expending energy concerning yourselves about personal squabbles, perceived slights, or events (past or future) that hold no weight in the face of extinction gives me little hope that the two of you will be able to face what lies ahead."
He focused on Liv, "I noticed you did not address Trinity's accusation of betrayal. To be frank, I do not care, but it is better to address it than ignore it. Whether it is true and you're repentant, or false and glib, it is something that needs to be put to bed."
He then looked to Trinity and moved to her. "At least she managed something of a compliment. Your dislike of her is so prominent that it has broken team cohesion. Do you think it stops at Liv? How does Heather feel about your dismissal of her, or does she know?"
He let his comments hang in the air for a moment before he took three steps back from the pair. "This space is endless. You could smash through every wall and not find your way out. It's lights are set to brighten and go into complete darkness at a moments notice, without warning, and without rhyme or reason."
"Food and water will be placed at points within this space in regular intervals of four hours. They will be marked with beacons that produce loud beeps akin to a car alarm. If you do not reach them in fifteen minutes, they will become unavailable to you until the next drop."
"Noiren and I will be patrolling this space as well. If we find you, we will attack with the intent to kill. Your goal is to survive for twenty four hours. If one of you dies, you will return to this point at the center of the space."
He then put up a finger, "Ah, also, in case you two allow your foolishness to supersede your survival instincts know this. Any injury you incur will not be delt to you, but your partner. If I slash Liv's throat Trinity will bleed to death, and vice versa."
Noiren finally spoke. His voice was deep and guttural, nothing at all like his daughter's. "Any questions before we begin?"

Liam raised an eyebrow. This was not what he meant. Does vulnerability not in some shape or form, mean surrender? But he should have known better to use that word. She was right. Freya never surrenders.
She reached out and he held her hands gently in his.
There was a hope deep within that she would say those words but at the same time, he did not wish for her to force herself to say it.
He took a deep breath before speaking.
"Freya, you do not need to force yourself to say these things."

"Shut up. I need to force myself, or i don't think I ever will. It takes a lot for me to lower my walls, especially to this degree"
She kept her eyes down as she spoke. "This relationship is very new and scary to me. You do all of this stuff for me while asking for nothing in return. You've been kind when I've been little more than antagonistic to you, even this last week. Some part of me is waiting for the other shoe to drop; for you to finally have enough of my s**t and ******** off to the ends of the Earth. I've given you little more than my company, and you're still here."
"You've been....so patient. I can tell that you want more from me, but you never press the issue. Hell, you only just brought it up after I told you about my weird butter fantasy. The thing is that...I don't know when, if ever, I'll be ready to do that."
A ghostly blue haze began to emanate from Freya. She continued without ********, this is so hard to even think of without liquor. My last experience was not...it just, wasn't. He didn't hurt me, but there was nothing there. It felt like a contract being fulfilled. I wanted something, and he gave it to me. Without so much as a-"
The haze began to take form as small embers that licked from her shoulders. She still didn't notice.
"It's gotten so that I want you to hold me on my down days, and I want to share the things that make me happy with you. I, care for you. A lot. I just, don't know if it could be called...y'know. I think I feel...it, but I don't know if I could ever say it. It feels, like I'm being unfair to you. I want to be more, but I don't know how."
The embers began to grow into small flames. It was then she lifted her head to look him in the eyes.
"I think what I'm saying, what I'm asking, is that you keep doing what you're doing. It's gonna take some time, maybe a long time, but I'm sure I'll come around. Until then..."
She looked left and right to see if anyone was spying on them. She took a deep breath, closed her eyes, and pursed her lips like someone who doesn't know how to kiss. Because she didn't. She had never been kissed. She waited for something, anything, to happen.
