Hikari first protests leaving Rhaplanca, Ishira and Nereus behind but Gannon threatens to put her to sleep if she doesn't cooperate with him, thus driving a wedge between the Reyvateil and the Vanguard. They decide to make camp for the night.
Meanwhile, Cecil, along with Nel travels to the outskirts of Behdla and notices the tiny group. Recognizing Hikari, he decides to follow them and waits for an opportune moment to snatch her away from the group. He is rewarded when, Hikari, still upset at Gannon for not letting her stay to look for Rhaplanca, sulks and runs off. He reveals himself to Hikari and startles her, causing her to scream. Gannon hears her cry and races to her aid only to come across Aaron (whom Hikari identifies as such) and the two start a fight, only to have Hikari and Nel get in the middle to break it up. They two form an uneasy truce for the time-being and head back to camp.
A one-eyed Teru girl named Ina stumbles in on the camp where Mana, Miko and the sick Reyvateil F.P.D. Mia are. Mana engages her in battle but is distracted when Ina attacks her sister and in the distraction is overcome. Luckily Gannon and the others arrive, catching the other girl off guard and she's quickly outmatched and outnumbered. Miko and Hikari beg for no more fighting and instead they are offered to join the group.
Meanwhile, Tessia starts interrogations in the town of Behdla, starting with Nereus.
