Fa Ciel: Remnants of a Dying Tower The Story of Fa Ciel:Fa Ciel is a deteriorating artificial floating land bound the the tower of Ar Tonelico through song magic. Unknown forces have been attacking the tower causing the percentage of functioning power usage to dwindle for centuries, causing land to plummet into the sea of death below with no hope in sight. As if things could not get any worse: the Goddess is missing!
This threat to the world has pitted the people of Fa Ciel and and the Reyvateils of Pallieu against one another in an impending war. With the tower's power now at 42%, the people of Fa Ciel; humans, Teru and Reyvateils of all generations alike, must come together to stop the tower of Ar Tonelico from shutting down. Some where inside the tower of Ar Tonelio is the key to stopping the end of the world, Rhemi.~ The World of Fa Ciel ~Eve of Reyvateils The sacred crest of Ar Tonelico, the tower of Ar Tonelico. Even though the top of the tower reaches into the heavens the power of song magic provides an atmosphere to support human life, though humans are forbidden from the Eve of Reyvateils (a treason and blasphemy punishable by death). The administrator of the tower lives in the golden spire known as the Altar of the Goddess, only the Goddess can enter here all other are prevented by the guardian Kikyou. This was once a vast garden and oasis but some of the land here has succumbed to land drop. The Goddess herself had arranged land to drop in order to delay the loss of land below but over time, that grace could no longer be offered. The slivers of land here are not to be tread by anyone but the Goddess herself with rare exceptions of the life givers. Despite it's proximity to the Eve of Reyvateils, it is not easy to travel between the two. Song Magic seals the entrance in the tower(Gate of Shidah) that connects the Eve of Reyvateils to Pallieu. The mega system of gears and turbines can only be opened with one of the rare hymns that life givers receive.The City of Pallieu Below the Eve of Reyvateils is the City of Pallieu. Here only Reyvateils reside: ß-types (created reyvateils will no secondary race), Pureblooded ß-tyes (direct clones of the Goddess) and although third generation Reyvateils are located here as well as other places on Fa Ciel, their numbers are few as they are not revered as their pureblooded relatives and are often cast out from shunning. It is deemed impossible for humans to reach Pallieu because of the Frozen Eye located below Pallieu. Frozen Eye- the barrier between the people of Fa Ciel and the sacred land of the Reyvateils above. The Frozen Eye is pure energy and solid matter cannot pass through it. The Tower of Ar Tonelico From highest to lowest point:
The Golden Horn and Ion Plates- A short stretch of barren tower separates the Frozen Eye from The Golden Horn and Ion Plates. The Golden horn is a sacred place sealed off by song magic. In early centuries it was used to craft hymn crystals. The Ion Plates surrounding the Golden Horn are floating weather moderators, slowly failing with the tower's deteriorating with power, if nothing is done soon deadly storms will ravage the lower land of Fa Ciel.
Ce Palym - the civilization of the Teru built around The Golden Horn. The Teru Race have served alongside the reyvateils for centuries. Close reference picture below:
Steppe of the Teru- A dangerously windy and mysterious part of the tower fraught with feral wildlife. Narrow paths of steep land cling to the side of the tower some parts are even affected by unstable gravitational fields where stones serving as steps and large meteorite rocks float freely.
The Artifical Land of Fa Ciel(the collapsing ring)- Over half the land held up by the tower's power has collapsed. Here humans and third generation Reyvateils live, but not in harmony. Even here the descendants of their pure relatives go without respect in many regions. Many humans use them as tools for petty profit. Only the Church of the Goddess, those who still worship the Goddess and wish to work together with her to save Fa Ciel, revere Reyvateils as they should be.
Base of Ar Tonelico- A stretch of tower that has slivers of artificial land attached. The land here is mostly farmland with few residents.
Daila Airport City- Humans rebelling against the goddess have built a machine to support a metal city on the lower part of the tower. Designed by C.P.G. Corp. (Citizens for the Purging of the Goddess Corporation), this man made city is the HQ for the C.P.G. Corp. They believe that they are truly enlightened and that the Goddess has abandoned the people of Fa Ciel. They plan to build a machine to wipe out the Goddess.
Abandoned Holy City of Athers- a mysterious unknown city that is at the lowest point of the tower that isn't submerged into the mists of the sea of death. What is it's purpose? And is Rhemi there?
The Land of Fa CielAirport City of Seraca This is the largest populated area on Fa Ciel. The Church of the Goddess is located here.Outskirts of Seraca Above the Airport City of Seraca floats the Fau Pira. A spherical creation of the C.P.G. Corp. Linking Reyvateils through a series of experiments, the C.P.G. Corp. has the means of destruction. But humans are flawed, the weapon backfired onto the third generation Reyvateils. A phenomenon know as F.P.D. infection, it strips the Reyvateil of it's mind guardian and if gone unchecked can cause the infected to become "possessed" by the Fau Pira. Word is that the twisted president of C.P.G. Corp. is trying to engineer a single Reyvateil to control the Fau Pira through this disease in order to control the F.P.D. population.Desolate City of Hecce- Singing Hill Ruins The last collapsing of Fa Ciel split the City of Hecce in half. A once religious mark in Fa Ciel that guarded secrets of Ar Tonelico in it's temple, Singing Hill. Perhaps there is something remaining there that could help? Maybe robbers and explorers missed something...Town of Behdla Behdla is a small market town on Fa Ciel built by man. It's floating capacitor isn't as strong as Daila's mad made city so it is halfway dependent and attached to the main land of Fa Ciel. Farmlands Word of the farmers on the base of Ar Tonelico tells of a long forgotten city below. Can we really put faith in the legends of county folk?
Daila Airport City Underside of Daila Airport CityThe creation and HQ of C.P.G. Corp. The levitation of this city is self-supporting but hovers close to the sea of death. Could the bleak streets of this metal city filled with the destitute and corrupt hold any answers to saving Fa Ciel?Abandoned Holy City of Athers A fabled lost city cut off from the rest of civilization that resides just under the sea of death. Is it even real? Or are we chasing false hope?Somewhere in Ar Tonelico is the Chronicle of Orgel Here ß-type Reyvateils sing for the course of their life to keep the tower of Ar Tonelico alive. The current ß-type Reyvateil, Rhemi, is suspected to be weakening and as a result the tower is failing. But with the disappearance of the Goddess from the Eve of Reyvateils, the only one who knows the location of the Chronicle of Orgel, it has hindered the possibility of locating and replacing Rhemi. Perhaps it is a chain of sabotage that is destroying Ar Tonelico...

Roles of Ar Tonelico:
These are the possible roles to chose from in this RP. Please post your character skeleton in the character creation thread. *note: unlike the games we allow male reyvateils.
Origin Reyvateil: The Goddess of Ar Tonelico and it's administrator. Not much is known about her. But when action is taken and as the progression of humans who ascend the tower increases, she may just become known. She resides in the Altar of the Goddess. This role is taken.
Kana: - An automated servant of the Goddess. Using logic to moderate any of Ar Tonelico, it attacks in the most proficient and deadly manner. She guards the Altar of the Goddess, preventing entrance. (this role is taken)
Meilin: - Kana's sister moderator, a little more aloof and confusing, she guards the entrance to the Lost Holy City. (this role is taken)
Shun: A wolf-like creature that serves the Goddess. It is considered by the non-believers to be the Bringer of Destruction. (this role is taken)
ß-type Reyvateil: direct clones of the Origin Reyvateils. They are the second strongest song magic wise. They reside in Pallieu. (So far I have 3 Reyvateils of this caliber established)
Pureblooded ß-types: clones of the ß-types. They reside in Pallieu. (I have no Reyvateils of this caliber established)
Third generation Reyvateils: Born between a Reyvateil and a human. (I have 1 Reyvateil of this caliber established)
Rhemi: A ß-type Reyvateil with the responsibility of singing eternally somewhere in Ar Tonelico. The Reyvateils of the Eve of Reyvateils suspect that something has disrupted her singing. The Goddess decides it is because she is close to expiration and that a replacement is to be sent. (This role is taken)
Teru: A race with tiny horns and a dragon-like tale. They are a mysterious clan that resides in the Steppe of Teru only, serving as the guardians of the Frozen Eye. Astonishingly they can use magic without song. (4 established)
Lead Vanguard: One male, one female needed. They are the heros of the story and brother and sister. (neither role is taken)
Vanguard: A human or teru that chooses to guard a single or group of Reyvateils with his/her life. Too travel safely groups of Reyvateils and their Vanguards are formed. (4 established)
President of the C.P.G. Corp.: An evil mastermind behind the rebellion against the Goddess. (This role is not taken)
Vice President of the C.P.G. Corp.: A pawn for the Presidents use. The Vice President is a figure-head to brain-wash the masses into rebelling against the Goddess. (this role is not taken)
???: A third generation Reyvateil that was experimented on to be the controller of the Fau Pira. This "weapon" has apparently escaped. (this role is taken)

Teru Tribe High Priest: - Leader of the Teru.
???- C.P.G. Corp's ß-type clone of the Goddess they programed to follow their every command. They accomplished this by introducing a mutation of the male chromosome, the only male reyvateil! His current mission is to seek out the escaped third generation reyvateil. (this role is taken)

Dive Shops Locations of the Dive Shops:
Eve of Reyvateils, Pallieu, Steppe of Teru, Seraca, Hecce, Behdla(though it is frequently down for maintenance), Daila, and Athers.How diving works in this RP:
You must me in a location with a dive shop.
Any vanguard can dive into a Reyvateil they defend (Multiple diving possibilities).
Reyvateils can dive into each others cosmospheres (Mulitple diving possibilities).
There can be a muliple-way dive (proxy dive) however it depends on the Reyvateils' included capacities.
While in a dive, at top of divers RP post in size 9 text in left corner, it must state: "(insert Reyvateil)'s Cosmosphere lvl (insert lvl number here.)
While in a dive, at top of Reyvateils post in size 9 text in left corner, it must state: "Cosmosphere lvl (insert level here)
Dives between Reyvteils (Omnisphere) do not have lvl numbers but at top of a omnisphere dive post it must state: "(insert first Reyvateil)'s and (insert second Reyvateil)'s Omnisphere No. (insert the number of times you dived with the other Reyvateil)
Minimum of 8 cosmosphere lvls per Reyvateil
Minimum of 8 costumes per Reyvateil (you may tektek these or wear them if you own the items at the time of the dive. If you decide to tektek them incorporate them into your cosmosphere posts)
Must provide either a pic or a tekek of a mind guardian for Cosmosphere dives only.
Proxy dives and Omnisphere dives do not require costume changes
Think of a good storyline to develop your Reyvateil over the course of the cosmosphere/proxy dives/omnisphere! heart
