"Hey Jace." Cha said, "Ok, he won't kill us all. So what is this about?" he asked one of the two. His meld was now going crazy. He was exposed to his meld for longer time, and so it was stronger. He didn't know the specifics, but his meld was something around a husky breed. For some reason, he could get it under control for a few minutes without struggle, but then it would start up again.

Koda stopped short. The girl didn't ask, didn't plan on approaching him if she managed to find his body, but here he was. His over-bearing, cat-stench appealed to her inner coyote and she scrunched up her petite nose, trying, and failing to keep the disgust from her expression. The coyote howled with laughter inside her head. It was all Koda could do not to open her mouth and let it out.
Composing herself, the blonde smiled at his recognition. He had tried so valiantly to protect her and the brunette bird from being hauled into the nearest station. It would have spelled disaster for this unregistered wild thing. The thief in her was unhappy at the recognition, but she could deal. "I don't think we had the opportunity to properly introduce ourselves."

Sofie looked at jace,glade he had finally introduced himself. She seemed to notice that spite seconded when jace and his brother's eyes met. This made her a little worried and her inner lionness seemed to put more of her scent out,as if a warning to other feline melds that something coud go wrong or right. And it didn't really help that her worries when Jace told him what he thought. "Hopfully none of the rebelion will make any trouble. I mean I'm glade their around,but its been quite,and there have been fewer background checks and home checks from the enforcment. You know what I mean?" she asked both Cha and Jace.

"True." Cha said. He was part of the rebellion, but he probably shouldn't say that. He wasn't here to assassinate anyone. He only brought the knife for self defense. He wanted to hear Rigibaldi's announcement first. He could smell the scent of some sort of large cat coming from Sofie, and apparently that made his meld back down. Whatever kind of husky he melded with, it wasn't very big. He guessed that he should be okay for now, but he still made sure that he was in total control.

It was getting late at the Dyna Corps. laboratory, but Siibuna hadn't finished her evaluation of the human genome against the Meld genome. It puzzled her to no end, the different billions of codes that somehow coincided with eachother to make such magnificently similar creatures so different. Rigibaldi would be announcing something soon and something had to be done about the annoying rumble that made its home in the pit of her belly.
She hadn't eaten in nearly 24 hours, so the itch to be less than pleasant with the public had creeped in on her subconscious. The private lab room made changing easy to hide from the pure humans she worked with, so as her clock struck 4 pm, she was back to her normal clothes and out of the door. The nearest food establishment was a market full of freshly cooked meats, and the scent that lingered from it's inner sanctum was alluring. She made her way in and bought a turkey leg from a vendor, setting out to the plaza where Rigibaldi would speak.
Lots of Melds, dog breed and the like, were gathered in the area and it made her relax knowing that they, as well as the normal humans, were here. She chomped into her large turkey leg and savored its flavors as she people watched, waiting for the announcement, whatever it would end up being.

Jace nodded. He got it, really. The guards didn't have to bother about everything because on the surface, everyone was acting all dandy. There had not been many problems in the past few weeks. One might think, considering his own brother was quite involved with the rebellion, that he would know of such plans. But truth was, he didn't and he wasn't sure what Jude had access to either.
It hadn't occurred to him that either of these people, Sofie and Cha, could be rebellion. Sofie professed she wished for everything to stay at a standstill in the time of peace, but Cha hadn't made much of a proactive movement towards such a conservative image of himself. "Yeah," he started, trailing off a bit, "Calm before the storm though, right?" He wasn't trying to argue with her opinion on the matter; it was just how he felt about it. "Fights have already begun," he added, looking around at the sea of people, swaying around several gravity points where arguments raged on.
OOC : I sorta kinda have a post for Jude....I'll have to finish it tomorrow or something.
But I just wanna say I feel like we should make something happen soon, either a riot or have Rigibaldi come out or someone to represent him to 'apologize for the wait' or something. Just to keep things moving and to involve Siibuna. : D

Sofie closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Regaining control over what he meld was doing. She didn't want to seem wide open for anything bad to come her way. Jace's voice caught her attion again and she nodded. "Yeah,and it'll be one hell of a storm when it comes. I just hope it all 'heat' lighting,and nothing bead." she told him. It wasn't that she really wanted to keep things the same,she would love to have their leard out of power,and replaced with a kinder person,but still she was worried for herself,not wanting to be too cought up in anything. The last time she helped someone for the rebellion she was put in a paded room for a week. It was horrable.

More Melds gathered and it seemed as though a lot more of them were becoming rebels. Though, who could blame them for wanting to be a renegade against Rigibaldi? The name fit him, she thought, After all, he was rigid as a board. If only the latter of his name was true, then it'd really be fun to poke fun at him. She wished she could be so lucky to be in one of the rebel groups, for it'd been a wasteful attempt in trying to create an antibody to the virus that infected thousands every month.
Jackie, as her Meld had self proclaimed itself long ago, stirred joyfully at the taste of the meat it devoured. It wasn't happy with the Cordon leader, no no no, but it would deal with it because what else could it do? Another large *chomp* out of the turkey leg and the less pleasant thoughts disappeared, the joyous emotions flooding back as quickly as they left. Jackie wanted to leave, to find more food, but it'd have to wait. Survival was essential and in order to survive, Siibuna and itself would have to listen to the leader drone out another terrible announcement.
