((Seeing as no opening segment has been posted, I'll add mine and Akira's match now. I enjoyed it. 3nodding ))

"Get Adicted" blasts over the loudspeakers as Joey runs towards the ring. He gets on the apron, turns to the audience with a slight grin and jumps onto the turnbuckle and performs a moonsault and lands kneeling in the middle of the ring.He stands up as they give him a standing ovation holding his hands up high.
Joey waits by 1 of of the corners still furious over losing his title match, he waits to take it out on his opponent.

FLOOR!

*Bodies by Drowning Pool hits the arena as The Talented One Cartwright makes his way to the ring as the crowd cheers loudly.*

"...from the UK, weighing in at 200lbs, he is The Talented One......CARTWRIGHT!"

*Pyro begins to explode behind Cartwright as he raises his arms, with his hands open, taunting the crowd on the ramp!*

NOOOOOOOW!

*Cartwright slides under the bottom rope, climbs the turnbuckle next to him and raises his arms as the crowd continues to cheer.*

Joey looks up at Cartwright as he continues to get the crowd cheering. He waits at the center of the ring for Cartwright.

The bell rings! Cartwright offers a lock-up and Joey accepts. Cartwright places him in a headlock but Joey escapes quickly, placing Cartwright in a hammerlock. Cartwright reverses the lock with his own hammerlock, only for Joey to whip Cartwright into the ropes and send him to the mat face-first with a drop toe hold.

Joey immediately jumps over Cartwright and applies a headlock and then flips Cartwright with a takeover. Joey still holds on to a headlock until Cartwright takes his legs, grabs Joey's head and locks in a head scissors forcing Joey to let go. Joey rolls out and up on his feet in a defensive stance.

Cartwright gets up in a defencive stance also, the crowd applauds them both for their chain holds.

Cartwright offers another lock-up but this time Joey knees him in the gut to boos. He places Cart in a abdominal stretch. The crowd claps and cheers-on Cartwright, who musters the energy to armdrag Joey to escape the hold!

Cartwright strikes Joey with some chops to the chest as he approached him. He then whips Joey into the ropes and hits him with a dropkick to cheers!

Joey gets up holding his chest after the dropkick as the crowd cheers on Cartwright. He yells at them and flips them off as Cartwright comes from behind and whips Joey into the corner. Cartwright hits a set of rapid fire chops to Joey's chest. The crowd cheers louder until Joey reverses and gets Cartwright into the corner delivering a set of chops of his own.

Joey then whips Cartwright across the ring into the opposite turnbuckle and then splashes him in the corner. He goes for the pin but gets a two count.

He places Cartwright into a half crab! Cartwright yells in pain until he is able to push Joey off using all his leg strength. They both get to their feet at the same time and exchange rights into Joey places Cartwright into a sleeper hold.

Joey keeps the grip on the sleeper and then gets whipped off Cartwright and to the ropes. As Joey rebounds off the ropes, Cartwright hits a well placed spinning wheel kick sending Joey to the mat. Joey quickly gets up holding his face and goes for a lariat but Cartwright counters with an arm drag.

Cartwright then holds on for a armbar, showing Joey he can do technical mat wrestling too! Joey breaks the submission by grabbing the bottom rope.

They both get to their feet. Cartwright strikes first with some chops and then whips Joey into the ropes. This is quickly followed by a flying head scissors and a two count pin.

Joey quickly gets up after the near fall and runs and catches Cartwright with a leg lariat. Joey goes for a pin only to get a 2 count. Joey picks up Cartwright and gets a chops to his chest in the process, Cartwright whips Joey to the ropes and Joey rebounds and catches Cartwright off guard with a sling blade. Joey shakes the cobwebs out of his head and goes for another pin getting a 2 count again.

Joey lifts Cartwright to his feet and attempts a bodyslam, only for Cart to slip out of his grip behind him! He grabs him from behind, they bounce off the ropes and Cartwright launches him for a german suplex, but Joey lands it! Cartwright gets back to his feet and dodges a clothesline from Joey. Cartwright attempts a kick but Joey catches it. Cartwright then smacks Joey with a enziguri using his free leg and covers him for 2.

Joey gets up and runs toward Cartwright only to receive an inverted atomic drop. Then Joey gets whipped to the ropes, rebounding and getting hit with a dropkick. Joey hits the mat and gets back up and punches Cartwright in the head. Joey lifts up Cartwright and delivers a quick snap brainbuster. Joey pins Cartwright for a 2 count. Furious, Joey lifts Cartwright up for another brainbuster only for Cartwright to counter with a DDT and then another, and another. The crowd cheers loudly as Cartwright goes for a pin. Joey kicks out at 2 with a headache.

Cartwright's head was aching from the brainbuster he took from Joey, but the crowds cheering is keeping him pumped! He thinks it is time to finish this! He bounces off the ropes, about to go for his Talented Trainwreck (modified enziguri) finisher when Joey side-steps it and chop-blocks him down to the mat!

Joey runs to the ropes and rebounds hitting a low dropkick to Cartwright's face. As the crowd booed, Joey focused on Cartwright and lifted him up in a inverted facelock about to hit his Mainliner finisher((sit-out inverted brainbuster)), but Cartwright had it scouted and reversed it by turning around and using a Northern lights suplex and bridging it for a pin. Joey kicks out at 2 and rolls up and violently stomps on Cartwright's head.

Cartwright held his head in pain from the stomp. Joey continues the assault with a knee drop to the head and then placing Cartwright in a headlock. Cartwright eventually gets back to his feet and gives Joey a back suplex to escape the headlock.

Joey gets rocked by the backdrop and Cartwright goes for a pin only to get a 2 count. The crowd cheers as both wrestlers are putting on a hell of a main event. Joey gets up and Cartwright leaps up attempting a hurricanrana, but Joey catches him and goes for a powerbomb. However, Cartwright holds on to Joey's head and flips off Joey and tries for a running neckbreaker, but Joey catches Cartwright off guard with a Desch TO((Ranhei)) and goes for a pin. The crowd cheers and boos as the ref counts 1!..2!.... Cartwright kicks out at the last moment amazing the crowd and Joey. In shock and angry, Joey gets up and waits for Cartwright to get on 1 knee. Once he does, Joey runs at him and leaps on Cartwright's knee and boots him in the face((basically a shining.. uhh big boot for now lol)). Joey goes for a pin and Cartwright goes down.


1....2.........th....NO!!!! The crowd roared as Cartwright liftd the shoulder, purely on instinct! Joey has busted Cartwright open with the boot as blood dripped from The Talented One's nose following the boot.

Joey brings Cartwright to his feet and attempts another brainbuster. He delays the drop, but this costs him as Cartwright slips out of Joey's grip lifts him for a Cartwright Crash (Swinging Burning Hammer), however Joey rolls him up for a pin before Cartwright can fully lift him! Cartwright kicks out.

Joey lifts Cartwright once more to his feet and whips him into the turnbuckle. He charges at Cartwright, but Cartwright lifts his feet, smacking Joey in the head! He drops to the mat as Cartwright climbs the turnbuckle and goes for his Cartwright Crush (Cannonball Legdrop).

Joey holds his head as Cartwright crashes down on him with the Cartwright Crush. Cartwright goes for the pin on Joey, 1!... 2!...3!! The bell rings as the ref holds up Cartwright's hand declaring him the winner.

((Better yet, you should still just write-out the match. But to make things fall into place, have your opponent get injured in the match so that it relates to him quitting the guild.))

Announcer: "To those of you watching at home, this is G.E.W. Unfortunately, during the previous match, a brawl erupted backstage between competitors Andrew Thorne and Matt Draven and both men have been ejected from the building--and will not, I repeat, will not be allowed to compete tonight! I can't believe..." The announcer continued, trailing off.

((Well, at least there was one match for the show so the fans didn't start riots straight away! rofl ))
