A true Metallica fan likes all of their work as already stated by another user. I agree their older work is much better but the new is still good. A lot of people hate Death Magnetic but I enjoy it. Ride the Lightning will always be my personal favorite album. Also, who wants to mention Dave Mustaine on a Metallica fan page? He screwed the band over and took their sound. I disrespect the man personally. Kirk is a much better guitarist than he will ever be.

Several of the songs on the first album are written by him! And mustaine is 10xbetter than Kirk will ever be. He is more respectable than anyone in the band! When Dave was having a drug problem and was starting to get clean they put a huge pile of fake cocaine on his bed...

I've met him, he is a pretty awesome guy. And yeah they did steal his work. He asked them not to put his songs on the first album and they did anyways. The Four Horseman was originally called the Mechanix. That's why on one of Megadeth's albums, He used the song and made it like 3x more fast. Get your facts straight before you ******** with my post.

Dude I am as much of a megadeth fan, as I am for metallica
the fact is tthat they recorded with him, EVERYTHING WAS DONE and they were finishing post production, The songs are as much Metallica's. as they are his. It is not their fault that he is a HUGE control freak. (not to dissrespect him, but it is true, ask any member of megadeth, former, or current)
He recorded it with them, and it was legally theirs, he got royalties off of it, and whenever they play his songs live he gets a cut, it is completely legit, also I do not get why some people get sooooo pissy over it even though Dave Mustaine is over it, and friends with the Metallica members again, I mean come the F*** on He is touring with them (and anthrax, and slayer, which BTW is coming to the US officially, but no dates are announced yet)

But Metallica Didn't steal any song's from Megadeth, Vice Versa. The Mechanix is faster with diffrent lyrics and Metallica's is The Four Horsemen( Man, Whatever. Even though it should be men, It's a plural.) It's Slower and also has diffrent Lyrics. The only simularity between them is that The Beat to it is the same.
