"dead you say?!" yes, dead. maybe not to the extreme, but i think most girls are moving on from the a-rainbow-threw-up-on-me look. i know i have. sure, it's still a style, but isn't everyone getting sick of seeing all the middle schoolers walk around with their ratty and flat hair, camel-toed pants, over-accessorized wrists, and raccoon eyes? i know i am: i go to school with them. the hair and make up and clothes re okay occasionally, but every goddamn day is getting frustrating. they don't even look good, either. i used to want to be the definition of "scene queen" in sixth and seventh grade, but i'm over that.
does anybody feel the same way?

It's pathetic how little twelve year olds are ruining our reputation. Don't hate on the kids who know what they're doing and love it. Kthx.

It depends to me who you are and how you see it. Like to me, the "scene" is dead. But some of it has stuck with me...
And I do also agree that the little kids are screwing it up for everyone who know how to like make it look good. Ehh, that sounded better in my head.

Ages 12-15 are generally your awkward years. We all had to start somewhere, I'm not going to sit here and say that little kids are ruining "my style". At my school, I was the only kid that came even remotely close to "scene", big hair, skinny jeans, so on and so forth. This 14 year old girl with long plain hair, little to no makeup, and I swear to god she only owned clothes from aeropostale, soon began to change her style. She cut her hair, got extensions, wears heavy eyeliner, and has even faked a piercing or two. She told a friend of mine that she and I were scene, and gives people advice on teasing their hair, which, she cant do very well. Yes, it's kind of annoying, but she liked the look and went for it, it's something you grow into. None of us were born this way, and I'm sure all of us can look back on ourselves and wonder what the hell we were thinking when we were getting dressed or got that haircut.

Almost... ._. Deep Down I Wish It Wasn't..But Im Somewhat Glad...Im Tired Of Posers. IfYour Scene You Need To Actually Be SCENE. Not A Poser. (Like The Majority Of The "Scene" Kids) But..The Scene Term Has Come To An End ~Insert Over Dramatic Tear Here~. > razz Oh,Well. R.I.P. Scene Trends.

Depends on the person. Because a general style is a style you chose to like or dislike. Therefore it depends on whether the person fits that style well or not. Get what I'm sayin?

I wouldnt say its dead just more invaded by little kids who think they are cool cause they can wear skinnys and dye there hair. But they are just trying to grow up to fast is all. They are just posers and they will pass the stage and realize they arent scene at heart like the real scene kids
