It's really hard to find signs of activity here and I'm not sure where to go to post since most of the threads either haven't been activated in a long while or I'm not sure I can post in the since I'm still just a house elf.

Hey so I have a few suggestions.
When looking at forums to post, look at the last post on there, the closer the topic is to the top that means the most recent activity, if you find a topic that was last posted in 2013 don't post there that gets you in trouble. if you like the topic then I have my second suggestion!
make a new topic! the best part of heard it in the hallway is that anyone can make forum topics just as long as you read the rules of the forum page before hand.
3rd thing places you can post you can post in the hallways, giggling pear, the great hall, check the giggling pear, and the welcome thread, and the entrance hall. for reassurance to where you can post.
